Chapter 22
Picture above is of Tyke! I really think that Matt Donovan from the Vampire Diaries fits the look of Tyke perfectly, although Matt is a lot nicer then Tyke is lmao, enjoy!
Back at came
Tyke walked angrily to Victoria's tent. She were suppose to return the key to him last night before anyone noticed, but she hadn't. The elders now knew of the missing storage unit key, and already begin to question other hunters of its whereabouts. He knew sooner or later he would be questioned next. 'Should have known better then to trust criminal activity with a bonch of wannabe amutures.' He whispered to himself. He narrowed his eyes at his destination came into view. "What the hell?" He shouted as he entered Victoria's tent. He were taken by surprise when he found Rabolso there instead. She were seated Indian style on Victoria's bed with her face wet with tears. She held a handwritten note to her chest as She looked up at Tyke in shock. She hadn't expected anyone to barge into the tent, especially not him.
He stood there silently. Had he walked into the wrong tent? As if reading his thoughts she spoke. "She's gone." She folded the note into her back pocket, then did her best to wipe away her tears.
Gone? What did she mean gone?
He narrowed his eyes at her as he walked closer. She looked away from him and scouted slightly over on the bed as if not wanting to be close to him, or anyone. "What did you get me involved in?" He asked more softly then he intended to. It were hard to be mad at her in her cerent state.
She brushed the tear stained brown hair out of her face. He shifted uncomfortably. He had never seen her upset like this before. He had many memories of her being furious. In fact he couldn't recall a time that those particular brown eyes weren't narrowed at him, but he had never seen them filled with tears as they were now. "I didn't know." She defended as she did her best not to sob. "She wanted to find Nikita."
His eyes fell away from her as his hand ran over his face in a frustrated motion. "Nikita is dead." He said factly. He weren't necessary trying to be mean to her, but he were a realist. Hunters died, it happened. Tyke thought Victoria just couldn't handle it and become delusional and despite. This craziness were only going to get them killed as well.
Rabolso glared up at him. If her eyes could shoot daggers they would have. How dare he. "You don't know that." She spat. Rabolso felt somewhat betrayed that after all she had done for Victoria, she had just left her with only a note. She knew that she wanted to protect her, and only had the best intentions but she were her best friend! She felt she earned to be involved on her search, not to mention she wanted to help keep her safe. What if Tyke were right? What if Nikita were dead? What If that necklace would lead Victoria to her lifeless body? Could she handle that on her own?
Tyke cleared his throat uncomfortably. He didn't do feelings, especially mourning. "Where is the key?" He asked.
She looked up at him confused. How could that even be on his mind? "Get out!" She yelled, Anger filling her chocolate brown eyes. "But," he started before she hoped off of the bed and in front of him so fast that in her next life she could have been the flash. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She glared up at him. His blue eyes filled with confusion. "She's gone! And you care about some stupid key?" She yelled as she shoved at his chest angrily. "You freaking prick!"
He struggled but eventually got hold of both of her arms as he starred at the mentally deranged woman In front of him.
"How did you intend me to react?" He defended.
She stopped fighting his hold. "Your right. I didn't expect any different." She said as she pulled her arms out of his hold.
He took a aggravated breath as he watched her fight a battle of emotions as she waited for him to leave. "What would you have me do?" He asked suddenly finding the need to defend his actions. "Go to the elders? Tell them everything? Asumble a team to track her?" He asked as he stepped closer. "Is that what she would want? For you to derail whatever stupid plan she has come up with?"
She stood her ground angrily as he continued to yell. No matter how much of a ass he was right now he actually made a little bit of sense. Victoria would be punished immensely for what she has done, and she would never forgive her if she were to rat her out to the elders. "No." She admitted as she felt defeated. She walked passed him to her dresser then pulled out the plain silver key that belonged to the storage unit before shoving it into his hands. "Here." She spat. "Happy?" She asked as she peered up at him.
He looked down strangely. He understood that she had to derect her anger somewhere but he couldn't understand why she thought he were the prim target? Hadn't he helped her and Victoria? He took a silent breath as he wondered why he cared so much about what she thought in the first place. "Yes." He said as he turned away from her and headed out of the tent. Once outside he couldnt help but stop as he heard the sounds of more sobs escaping her.

Ash sped up to the all to familiar gates as he entered Queen Stefani's estate. He looked up oddly at the large gold gates as he sensed something different about them. A spell? He thought. "I am not playing these games." He shouted angrily. "Bane!" He yelled a few moments later after no response. The gates cracked open with a horrible rusted noise. If he still had most of his human senses he knew the sound would of left goosebumps, much like nails on a chalkboard. He speed through the gates and to the front door, but much to his discomfort Queen Stephanie awaited by the gardens just before the front steps. She sat cross-legged on a handmade stone bench as He watched her delicate hands pick the pedals off of a freshly plucked rose. "Come to join us?" She asked, but her attention still Focused completely on the dying red flower in her hands.
"Where is Bane?" He ignored her question. He didn't believe that she even thought it were remotely possible that he'd ever help her.
"He is inside." She spoke as she pricked her finger on one of the many throes of the wild rose. She smiled up at him seductively as she brought her finger up to her lips then sucked the blood away. She smirked, satisfied as she knew this notion would irritate him, and it did. "Unfortunately he isn't accepting visitors at this time." She spoke in a secretary voice.
"bullshit" He cursed as he came closer to her. In mere moments ten vampires surrounded him on all sides ready to attack. She laughed as she dismissed them with a wave of her hand. "He is no danger." She spoke in a scrutinizing tone. "I mean look at him." She pointed up and down.
This might have angered most, but by now he were use to her mocks. "I need to see Bane." He demanded.
She let out a bored breath as she usually did when she began to lose interest. "Sorry Darling, but he has proven useful and I will not let you Poison him with that goody two shoes aora of yours, Maybe next time."
Ash made fists. If they were alone he would have probably attacked her, but right now, surrounded by near a dozen vampires he knew better. So instead he stepped closer to her and kneeled down beside her on the stone bench. He brought his lips down to her right cheek as he whispered "Rot in hell." Into her perfectly shaped ear.
She breathed him in as her eyes shot open questionably. She sat quiet as she took in the scent, memorizing it to its entirety. She knew that smell anywhere. Hunter she thought, or more like huntress to be exact. She knew that there were only one huntress that the smell could come from. Only one warrior of there kind had been missing for over a week. He had her. He had the stupid little Bitch that started this war to begin with. She smiled up at Ash as she were truly impressed with him for the time in his entire existence. Catching one was no easy task, Maybe she dismissed him to soon? "On second thought," she spoke as she stood in front of him. He had wondered why she had been silent. He couldn't imagine that his words "Rot in hell" had that much of effect on her?
"Maybe a little visit between you two isn't such a bad idea. You raised the boy after all." She faked sympathy as she patted him on the back. "Joxer will show you inside." She pointed to the heavyset, Ginger bearded vampire to her left. He looked at her as if she lost her mind, but decided not to question his Queen as he led a very confused Ash inside the mansion.
Queen Stephanie smiled as they entered. She then turned around and headed for the golden gates herself. "Come now Leopold," She called out to one of her first children and most trusted subject "Let's take a little trip." She motioned to the 17th century born British vampire as he went to pull the limousine around.
