Chapter 18

Raboslo stepped out into the night, and ducked to hide from the moonlight. It was only a hour passed cerfew, but she knew that if she got caught it wouldn't go unpunished.

The night was thick and muggy. The wind had picked up greatly, russlimg the trees surrounding her. A storm had been bruwing all day and she knew that any minute it would release itself onto camp. She turned on her heels and glanced back at her tent. She wanted nothing more then to climb back into bed, and forget any of this. She could easily let sleep wash over her and let the coming storm drown out all of her trubles. She could tell Victoria that Tyke wouldn't help, and he probably wouldn't anyway so what's the ponit?

She shook her head, turning around and continuing on her path. The ponit was she wasn't that person. She Never 'half-assed' anything, especially when it came to helping another person.

Victoria was far from being just a "person" to her. She felt her more of a sister then anything. A small sharp pain struck her heart at the thought of the tearm 'sister' . Raboslo didn't have sisters, but she knew the pain that victoria is going through must be unbearable. The thought alone that Nikita was really gone was still foreign to Raboslo. It felt like more of a bad dream, then reality. Even though she didn't associate with Nikita as she did Victoria she was always still around, watching from the shadows. At the time Raboslo thought it to be over proactive and creepy even, but now she just wished to see her standing there again.

Before Raboslo knew it she was standing outside of Tykes tent. She looked around, but not another tent was even remotely close to his. She wondered if he purposely set himself far from the others or if the others put him there so they wouldn't have to deal with him. Either way the end result was the same. She was uncomfortable, not only with this, but  with the whole situation. She stood there for a few minutes, debeting the best way to enter. Should she announced herself? or just go right in?.

She let out a deep annoyed breath. "Being a good person sucks" She whispered to herself.

In some ways she envy'd Tyke and his lake of caring. She sometimes wished that she didn't give a Damn about anything or anyone. Looking out for number Ono was looking pretty darn good at the moment. But again, that just wasn't her.

She decided that just walking in would be the best bet, considering that she was trying to keep it down. Before she got the chance to build the nerve to enter, a strong firm grip yanked her from the dark and into the single candle lit tent.

Once she opened her eyes from the shock she saw Tyke standing in front of her with a dumbfounded expression. His hand had a firm grip on her button up shirt collor, as his other was in a fist amied at her face.

"What in the!!??  Raboslo?" He asked through piercing gray eyes. His grip on her was strong, but that didn't Suprise her since he was built like your average high school bully that she read about in her human written books. His frosted brown hair was short, and buzcut to match.

"I'm sorry, I was.." She stated in panic before he cut her off by letting go of his hold on her and lowering his fist.

"What the hell are you doing here? Are you crazy? I could've killed you!" He said as she fumbled to strengthen out her shirt collar.

She couldn't help but laugh inside at his second question. It was just the day before that she asked victoria the same thing.

"I was just out walking" She lied after she caught her breath. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to end up at your tent.

He looked at her curiously. Tyke wasn't easy fooled. "Your a bad lair."

She did her best at pretending to be offended. "I'm not lying! I told you,.."

"save it chicky, no one goes for walks after cerfew. Especially way out here." He said pointing around. "Plus I heard you scaffolding around out there for minutes before I pulled you in, although I thought that you were.. something else." He said.

"So much for being a ninja." She said more to herself then him. She huffed and stood there a little embarrassed. This was not how this was supposed to go. She decided to stop beating around the bush and get to the point. "Alright, I need your help." She addmited.

He smirked, not believing his ears.  "I'm curious." He stated. His eyes roaming her body freely. He done this simply to Annoy her, but couldn't help but notice her, really notice her.  Her curves and edges were almost as intoxicating as the way her creamy mocha skin shined in the candle light.

"for what?" He said once his eyes met back at her now angered ones.

She rolled her eyes. She half expected a stunt like this from him. He wasn't exactly the most 'innocent' guy at camp. She was sure she wasn't the only girl to sneak out to his tent late at night, they however for a whole other reason.

"I need you to steal the key to the safe box in the storage unit." She blurted out finally.

He looked at her curiously,  bringing his hand up to his chin and rubbing it out of habit in thought. "Why in the world would you want to break in to it?" He asked. "Obviously you want something out of it, but those items are Magic.. what could you possibly want in there?"

She swayed back and forth while he spoke. She was obviously nerves. How did she know he wasn't going to rat her out this very minute? "That's none of your business!" She said defensely. "And it's not 'breaking in' if you have the key." She stated in a duh tone.

He smirked. Her logic even though Floyd, was definitely humorous.

"As cute as this whole new 'bad girl' attitude is, i think I'll pass." He said as he walked to the canvas door flap and held it open. He waited for a few moments, realizeing she wasn't going to move and added, "You may leave now" really slowly as if she were def.

Just then a load Crack of lighting ripped through the sky, causing them both to jump. He let the flab close as the rain started to poor down.

"Whats your problem?" She snapped walking up to him, but not leaving the tent. Her eyes shot him daggers as the light from the lighging made her look even more dangerous. "Don't act like you don't bend and break plenty of rules on a weekly basis!" She said angerly. She couldn't understand why he wouldn't help her. It wasn't like she was asking him to bake a cockie! She was asking him to do something that he has already been doing for awhile. Break a few rules.

"I do." He addmited proudly. "But I don't do charity!" He said pointing at her.

She opened her mouth to curse at him but couldn't even find the words. He smiled, this satisfied him a great deal. She pondered on her situation for a a moment. Wondering if his help was even worth the truble of having to put up with him.

Since the elders were, well elderly.. they needed help with tasks from time to time. And tyke, being the strong guy that he was, was often called to help with such tasks. The enders, even though were part of the hunters, and there camp, liked to separate themselves from the group. Only a few none elders, elders to be, spoke to the enders to give there orders to the rest of camp. Jared and Eliena for instance were such elders to be.  Tyke, and a small other few saw, and interacted with the enders for work purposes, but Tyke was the only one that would ever even consider stealing from them.

"We are not a charity case." She said after a piercing glare. "What do you want in return?" She asked, Head held high.

He looked taken back, Suprised even. He couldn't help but notice 'we' instead of 'I'. She is working with someone, he thought.

She was so ferce, and determined with every word. The truth was he couldn't think of anything that he wanted, or needed. He didn't even want anything really. But doing something for nothing was just not who he was. "I'll let you know when I find something that suits me."

"That's it?" She asked Suprised.  "Sounds simple enough." She finished, extending her hand for them to shake on it. He took hers and gave it a firm squeeze.

"Thank you." She said as she let go of his hand and lifted the flap door to the tent herself. Cool rain poored on her hand and down her arm as she did. Lighting, rain, and wind now ripping it's way through camp.

"Are you sure you don't want to wait out the storm?" He asked in a smirk, stepping closer to her. His smirk However faded in that moment. Her hair flowing wildly in the breeze as the smallest of raindrops found there way on her thick dark brown hair. She really did look like a godess.

"As appetizing as that sounds.." She said seductively getting closer for effect. "I'd rather eat daggers, but thanks." She finished, leaving him as confused as she found him as she ran out into the wet stormy night.
