Capitolo primo (1)
Ziva Gray
"Now, I'm going to ask one more time Byron and you're going to tell me the truth, okay?" I said with the sweetest smile I could conjure to the mid thirties man on his knees in tears.
"Where is my money you owed me three months ago?" I lowered my voice not to wake the wife and kids.
"I don't have it but if only you gave me a bit more time," he pleaded with tears running down his eyes.
"You see Byron, when people steal from me I kill them almost instantly. You, I gave time, a month, because you were just working as a janitor in a factory. But now you're time is up. Where. Is. My. Money?" my patience was wearing thin with him.
"Just give me a week please, I'll get it to you by then I promise," I sighed and shook my head at his vigorous shaking.
"Wrong answer Byrie boy," I clicked my tongue and shot him. The gun was on silencer anyway. I wasn't the type to depend on a gun or the type for an up close in personal kill but Byron was my favorite person. I guess it was my gift to him.
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
My sincere apologies to the family. I'm sure the funeral will be lovely.
I took the money from the inside of the couch. The lying bastard thought he could fool me. He had my money, he just never planned on giving it back. I'm sure he was planning on running away to a far country hoping I wouldn't find him.
I pulled my hood over my head and walked away with a smile on my face. I started whistling with a little skip in my step. I suddenly felt someone following me. No doubt the same person when I drove to Byron's house.
Pathetic
"Anything you want, Prettyboy?" I asked as I came face to face with a blonde dude with baby blue eyes.
"Maybe a night at my place," he smirked checking me out.
I place one hand around his neck, stood on my toes and leaned close to his lips. My other hand reached for my gun and I lift my knee upwards, followed by his groans as he fell to the ground. I placed my gun between his eyes.
"Who sent you?" I asked and he looked up at me and smirked.
"Me." a voice behind me answered and before I could turn around, a needle was injected in my neck.
"I've been looking for you for a long time, Red Blood," was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

I woke up in a comfortably soft bed. I looked around to cream painted walls, a door I'm assuming lead to the bathroom and a nightstand. I looked at my wrist and ankles to see I wasn't cuffed or tied up.
Stupid douchebags
I opened the door slightly to see someone with their back turned to the door. I took this as my opportunity to jam him in the back, climb on his back and break his neck. I tiptoed downstairs to see the room filled with men.
"Nice to finally know that you're up, Red Blood," a familiar yet not familiar voice spoke up.
"Who are you?" I asked as I approached the person.
"My bad, manners, I'm Luciano Salvatore, leader of the Italian Mafia," he turned around and I came face to face with a 6'1, green eyes, not too bad looking.
"I've been looking for you for a long time, Red Blood" the voice echoed in my head and I realised that it was the man who is standing in front of me.
"I remember you saying you were looking for me, why?," I asked as I held my head up and tilt it the to side.
"You have a particular set of skills that I could use with me," he said with a serious face quoting Taken.
"Mm, it's not good enough," I shrugged my shoulders and attempted to walk away
"I could pay you 15 grand each week," he stopped me and I smirked and turned around.
"Deal but I'm not apart of your Mafia family. I work alone, got it?" I told him and he curtly nodded. Technically, I work for alot of people. Not one person in particular. I'm an assassin for Christ's sake. They give me the name and I do the job. The only thing is not alot of people know what I look like.
I looked to my side to see a very familiar face. He looked at me with an all too serious face. I trod over to him with a sweet smile on my face.
"Oh, I remember you. Are you still on that offer?" I asked as my fingers traced their way along his biceps.
"You kneed me in my balls, bitch," he sneered as he leaned towards me.
"Get over it, blondie. I could make it better for you if you want though," my hand holding his crotch and I saw his Adam's apple move up and down as he swallowed.
"What do you say?" I whispered in his ear and nipped it lightly.
His next sentence made me smile a little wider. I turned around and skipped past them but Luciano stopped me.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Assuming that I now live here, means I get access to your food. I'm starving," I said and opened the fridge until a thought came back to me.
"Oh, I hope the man upstairs lying unconscious isn't of any importance, because that would really be sad" I chuckled and took out the box of cereal and the carton of milk.
When I turned around, I came face to face with an angry with Luciano.
"You killed Liam?" he stated as a vein in his forehead was piercing.
"On ease, soldier," I said and went around him to the island.
"He was only 17, who was trying to keep his family from poverty," he told me.
"May his soul rest in peace," deep down it cut my heart to know that I killed someone so young who only wanted the money to keep his family alive. I may not know him or his family but I know that what I did will probably haunt me forever.
"If it makes you feel better, I will say a few words at the funeral. Don't worry, I'll say something nice," I smiled, patting him on the shoulder and went to the bedroom I woke up in, carrying my cereal with me.

9:00pm
A knock on my door was heard and I got up and opened it to reveal Blondie.
"The name's Jasper. Now let's see how loud you can scream my name," he said and immediately things went from zero to hundred real quick.
Are you a milk before cereal or cereal then milk kind of person?
