Daichi, honestly, wasn't surprised to find that Kuroo didn't properly plan out their date...

He especially wasn't surprised to find themselves caught in the rain... Which they narrowly, escaped, with minor damage, thanks to a nearby bus stop.

However, he is surprised by Kuroo's actions... By Kuroo's suggestion, "you should jump in the puddles with me, Daichi." Even more surprisingly, Kuroo's face lacks its usually mischievous grin.

Daichi can't help but feel confused. Kuroo HAD to be up to something... But he doesn't have THE grin. "Why, so I can get more wet than I already am?" Daichi asks, and realizing how his sentence could be twisted, he adds, "Don't you DARE make I just said dirty."

"I won't if you jump in the puddles with me," Kuroo responds. THE grin still isn't present. The lack of THE grin is more unnerving than comforting.

"I thought cats hated water?"

"I thought birds like to take baths?"

"Touché, Kuroo. Touché."
