*3rd person*

It's been a few hours since Will threw up and Mike finally understood. Mike had moved a sleeping Will out of the toilet and onto one of the plush green couches, still holding him. God, he felt like a real shitbag. He left this kind, compassionate angel for people who couldn't care any less about him. His mind goes back to that moment.

 All the shouting and crying. The look on Will's face. "He looked like a kicked puppy," Mike thought. He felt guiltier and guiltier by the second. The boy in his arms shifted as he slept and Mike heard him sniffle. "Oh my dear god! He's fucking adorable!" Mike to, became uncomfortable

"Shit. D-do I like him? I-I mean, he's really cute. Like REALLY cute. The way his huge eyes sparkle even in the dark. The way his hair is always messy yet so neat... Why am I thinking this!? I'm straight, right?" Mike felt his face get hot as he thought of the boy asleep in his arms...

Will thought of the ravenette and smiled. "God. He's so perfect! His dark eyes, piercing through my soul. His curls, perfectly framing his handsome face. Not a freckle out of place. His..."

"Lips. Plump and rosey, curled into a constant pout. I-I... shit." Will woke up, still in Mike's arms. He flushed a slight red as he thought of Mike's strong arms around him. Mike was blushing as well, trying to hide it and failing miserably.

"G-good morning, Will," Mike stammered. Will giggled at the lanky boy's deliverance. Mike blushed even harder at the sound of Will giggling. "Like windchimes when a breeze floats by... Wait when did i become this poetic?"  Will got up and walked to the staff kitchen. He began searching the cupboards for the packets of Reese's pieces he knew Ms Liliam kept for when no one was looking. Mike followed the smaller boy to the kitchen to find him on his tiptoes, trying to open the highest cupboard. This made Mike chuckle

"Need help Byers?" Will spun on his heels and pouted but sulkily nodded his head. Mike went up and opened the cupboard to find packets upon packets of snacks. mike stood in amazement while Will stood triumphant.

"Yes! I knew she had these somewhere! Never thought she had this many though!" Mike chuckled at the tiny boy beside him exclaimed.  

"Yeah, yeah shortie. Good job. Can we eat now?" Will pouted again and crossed his arms.

"It's not MY fault I'm 5"1!" Mike burst out laughing. Will reminded him of an angry fairy and he just couldn't contain his laughter any longer. Will looked confused which only made Mike laugh harder.

"Wait Mike, why are you...?" Mike had doubled over at this point, his face crimson from the laughing. Will had just given up at this point. He walked over to the couch and slumped into it. He only just realised how cold it was in here. Will shivered and wrapped his arms around himself, knees up to his chest. Mike grabbed a packet of M&M's and headed over to Will.

"Hey, you hungry?" Will nodded and straightened up. "God Will. You look freezing!" Mike began to pull of his jumper and hand it to the brunette. Will stared up in confusion but took the jumper anyway. It smelled of Mike's sweet cologne and was warm like in a bakery. He snuggled into it, blushing, feeling better already.

"Hey um Will? C-can we talk?" Will suddenly felt really anxious. "Oh no no no! I'm screwed!" Mike placed one of his hands on Will's, stopping it from shaking too much.

"I just wanted to say that I am sorry. For everything. I-I was such a jerk and I didn't deserve you. I regret everyday, that I said those things to you. Because you are the most wonderful person i have ever met in my life. You deserve the world and not the shit that you have been given. I-I'm so so sorry Will!" Mike began to cry, his voice cracking towards the end. Will was also crying. He had missed Mike's company so so much and to learn that Mike missed him back was a wonderful, relieving feeling.

"Friends again?" Will nodded

"Friends again"
