"So, you gave them the win of the battle?" Rang, his son and deputy, growled. Rang was a powerfully built tom with gray fur and white paws. He stares down at his father with dark blue disapproving eyes.

"I don't have to answer to you! I'm your father and your leader. I let them have the win because they spared my life!" Death spats, foaming at the mouth. His blue eyes met his son's gaze, anger dancing in its depths. "For the sake of no owing!"

Rang's eyes dropped the stony floor. Embrassed.

"Yes, my father. I would of....kind of....done the same." Rang stammers, His face turned away in shame at his before behavior of challenging his superior. 'If I wasn't Death's son, I would of never gone this far. Most likely just being a regular warrior, not even and honer warrior.' Rang shamefully thought.

Death's black fur with brown splashes flared at Rang's wording. He snarls bitterly," kind of? Kind of?!?!? You would of the same! Refraze that." He orders.

Rang's eyes darkens. " I would of done the same, my lord." He respectively meowed.

"Now that's better. Rang, go reset the border markings. Take five felines, and make sure to bring one apprentice it'll be good training for he/she." Death dismisses Rang. His eyes softened, as he meets Rang's crestfallen eyes. He felt proud of Rang really, he would of gone far even if he wasn't his son. Death flashes him a ghost of smile, which was rare for him.

"Yes, of course. My lord." Rang dips his head in a good bye bidding.

Rang walks out of his father's den cave, as he does, a pretty female with brown chestnut fur and white paws, sprinted over to him. Her deep blue eyes dark with impatience.

"Rang! Where is Death?" The she-cat inquires in flat bored tone. Grating on his nerves. Her blue eyes widens.

"Luna, he is in his den. After you see him, go hunting, okay?" Rang sighs, rolling his eyes. Luna was his step mother. It was disgusting, really, she was like his age just a few years older. Why did Death want her? Sure, she was kind of pretty but so annoying.

"Sure thing. Just need to chat with your father for a bit." Luna purrs, she bounds away to Death's and her den.

As Rang walks away, he heard her annoying whiny voice, " Death, love. I'm here! Honey? Want a kiss?"

Rang chuckles under his breath. He had seen an elder come and chat with Death about something. Ember Eve left her old eyes crinkled with laughter.

He felt happier than he had in days....to make it even better, he saw the pretty she cat with black fur bound over. Her one white spot over her left eyes gleaming like freshly fallen snow. Her deep violet brown eyes hollow and depressed.

They were good friends. He well had some interest in her than a friend through.

"Lieli Lilly! Hey!" Rang calls out brightly, missing her hollow look. Then, he notices her sour expression. "What's wrong?"

"I think Hawk is dating my best friend Hazel Berry! She knows I like him!" Lieli Lilly cries out, her eyes glistening. " How could she?!"

Rang's mood apurtly falters, he think bitterly, 'she doesn't like me.'

He opened his jaws to speak when Death shouts," Rang! The patrol now. Get it together." Death had sat down on the caves top, known as Leader Rock, gazing harshly down at him. He shivers.

He sweeps his gaze around, Ember Eve was laughing from earlier and Luna was glaring evily his way. Luna must of told some lie about me to Death.

"See you, Lieli Lilly. " Rang utters drily.

Lieli Lilly sniffs, not acknowledging his departure. Feeling the sting of rejection he gathers his patrol. *

☆Morning Battles☆

The morning started out with Death staring at them from his perch on the window seal. Kat quickly changes into Rainfire.

"So, you came. I thought we scared you away. " Jarad jeers. " Where are the other outlaws?"

Death didn't let Jarad 's comment ruffle him. " I have desided to do fight Simi. One on one. Fair. We are about the same skill level and body type." He mutters. " Simi, do you accept?"

"You bet! I wouldn't ditch it for the world. I'll kick you till you see stars." He grunts back, his gaze dark and battle ready.

Death's grin widens. The two skilled angry toms circled, after ten or so rolls Simi did a front flip on Death's back.

Death tumbles fakely down as if Simi's weight was too much. Then, as Simi relaxed slightly, Death sprang up, throwing him off. Simi slams into the back wall, almost flying out of the window.

Simi braces himself, and kicked at the wall. He landed nimbly on his paws.

"Haha. Call that a Surprise Throw Off? I sensed it. FOOLED YOU!" Simi jests, closing his eyes to enjoy his joke.

Not a smart move. " Bam," Death slams into Simi. He flies back from the force.

"Simi, the window!" The felines calls out nervously, they sounded like they were one.

Too late. Simi was out of the window. Jynx stood on her hind legs, she saw her father lightly land on his feet.

"I'm okay!" Simi calls up.

While, all the other cats sighed in utter relief, Death curses darkly.

Simi flashes back into the room. Death drily informed them," I win this round because Simi was not actively fighting for ten seconds. Tonight is round four. If I win then, there will be a final round five. "

Simi growls," sure, whatever. Bye, jerk!" Death's blue eyes danced with amusement. He flashes out.

Rainfire gazed at the spot where he had disappeared.

"I can't believe Death. Throwing Simi out the window?? Mental." Jarad growled in anger. He had come to think of Moon and Simi as his parents.

"Yeah! I mean that was mental. You know?" Simi growls, nodding his head in agreement. "Only a crazy outlaw would of even thought of it!"

"I bet Luna would of thought of it," Moon jokes.

"Yeah, remember Luna means Moon. " Simi teases back, regaining his spirits.

Moon glared his way," well, now you listen here! You are....." She was hushed by his tail.

"No sweets, I was only kidding." Simi purrs, trying to smooth his ruffled mate.

Moon rolls her pretty green eyes. She flicked away Simi's fluffy tail away with a fore paw.

"Hey, watch the tail!!! Your claws almost made a dent!!!" Simi playfully growls, baring his teeth in a fake ferocious manner.

Moon briskly meows," well sorry. Meanwhile we bleed to death, and you complain about your poor tail."

To add to the effect, the four young felines cleared their throats. Moon raises her eye whiskers as if to say,'see?'

Moon swiftly made rounds to the injured felines, distributing healing spells. She had the most experience in that field.

When they were all healed, Rainfire mumbles," the moon shall be full tonight. That'll give us an edge. Yet, there will be little or no sneak attacks from our side or theirs."

"Yes....but what if....never mind. Okay okay, let's close the window." Simi growls as if having the window open drained his cofidence levels.

Rainfire turned into her human self. Kat slams shut the window. " Okay, but who opened the screen part anyhow?" She inquires in a puzzled tone of voice.

"No one I think. I bet you my whiskers it was one of Death's spells or my name isn't Moon." Moon informs Kat drily.

"Moon, let's go on a walk. We'll be in range for a howl or a quick flash." Simi abruptly meows, and they left.

Odd. Normally, they would invite them along. Oh, well.

"Kat, change back into Rainfire. Let's go for a run to loosen up our muscles. Jynx, Jarad you guys ready?" Night sharply purrs, ancipation flaring in his voice.

Then they flashed out. As they flashed into the place they had trained yesterday, they knew something was majorly off. First, there were a half of massive gathering beginning to form. Also the cats there didn't look even surprised at their arrival.

Then, Night looked up to see a cat's magically blind folded eyes. Luna....the outlaw.....Death's mate.... Luna lashes a paw through her cage that was also create by skillful sorcery.

Jarad opens his jaws to make a comment to his mate Jynx, when Luna yowls," YOU'LL all die, for I am Death's mate and he'll tear your world, land by land, for I am Death's m----" Luna pants to a stop, her eyes wild and frantic.

"Oh save it for someone who cares. "Felis meowed to Luna. Then he addresses the now full....over filling.....clearing." Luna was found by our land border.....a few warriors found her just as she was crossing. The only thing we could get out of her was something about Death. We blind folded her so she wouldn't learn of our secrets or land outlay."

The 2nd in command, Bar Bar joked," we should feed her to the wild bears. And then dump her remains in Death's door step." Bar Bar was only joking through.

A hug number of felines chuckled with abandon. For the first time, Rainfire glances around at the ever growing vastness of felines. Her eyes lock at Simi and Moon. ' SIMI AND MOON?????? They must of got a message on their My-Chat.

My-Chat is where a animal of your choice can give and send messages in your voice like a human text or call.

" Mmmm that'll start a war.....but your joke is well appreciated." Lord Felis praises.

"Yeah. Yeah. Not for me." Luna snarled to the ever growing crowd.

"Lord Felis! I think we should dump her off in the cage just inside of her world and leave Death a My-Chat message. " Jarad spoke up, his voice loud and ranged easily out to everyone.

Simi and Moon looked surprised they were there. They then realized Felis must of redirected their family flashing to come here instead.

"Nicely and wisely said. Jarad, we shall do that!" Lord Felis proclaims. " Bar Bar, Jay, Giz, Mist and I will take Luna back. You all are dimissed." Lord Felis flashes out with the cage. The felines he named followed suit.

As Rainfire turns to leave, she spots Snowflame as he strolls by. She flashes him a polite smile. She was rewarded with Jynx nudging her and smiling in a knowing way.

Soon, Simi and Moon were ready to go. Once the older cats joined the rest, they flashed home. Good sweet home.....great Death.....

Death was waiting for their arrival, his face grim. "Thanks for my mate back. I solely missed Luna. "

"Thank.....Lord Felis." Taken back by Death's kind thank you, Simi stammers.

Death narrows his eyes darkly and grunts," sure, but first taste my claws." The outlaw leader flicks his tail. Five more outlaws stepped out of the long shadows. Sunlight beams down with a glare.

"No thanks. I had lunch and I'm full." Simi fumes," attack!!!!!"

Moon and Jarad jumped into fight mode. Rainfire started to sprint to the female she had fought last time....when Jynx tripped her." Watch it." Rainfire growls, tensions running high.

Rainfire rolls to the side, nearing knocking into Moon. Then....blood fills her green gaze. All she could see were bright drippy red and swirling black. Even if she could see, she felt Death ripping into her belly flesh. She felt dizzy and light headed. Foggy..... The world of red and black tilted dramaticly to an angle.

She was dieing, she registered that fact She was dieing, she registered that fact calmy, the pain filling her till it was all she could do to not cry out in weakness.....
