The delightful @RaeKitano tagged me for this - so I'm adding it to my collection of LGBT stories, mostly inspired by her challenges.
Twenty answers to twenty imaginary questions, which may be of interest to readers.
1. I am the mother of one.
2. I have been with my partner for about 27 years (snap! Rae)
3. I'm not married, and never intend to be, but I support gay and lesbian marriage rights. It should be an individual choice.
4. I love chocolate - local brand Haigh's is my favourite
5. When I visited Belgium, I went on a chocolate diet - only 250 grams of chocolate per day. It was hard.
6. I hate housework.
7. Dust is cool - you can write in it!
8. I have two cats - one weighs nine kilos. She was born on 9/9/99 - how lucky is that for a cat?
9. My daughter sleeps all day and is awake all night - I think she might be a vampire.
10. Did I mention I hate housework?
11. I love red wine, especially from South Australia. There are heaps of wineries within an hour from my home providing free samples. Hooray! Hic.
12. I spend too much time obsessively checking my reads and comments on wattpad.
13. These days I write best in the mornings when everything is quiet and my brain is fresh. When I was younger, I used to write assignments til 3am - but not any more.
14. My first published book was a regency romance, called 'Regency Masquerade' which is for sale on Amazon. (Sorry, no LGBT characters in that one)
15. I think the book I have (re)read the most as an adult is 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. Still one of my favourites.
16. When I was at school I was always picked last for sport
17. I hate spiders. But I like lizards - especially Shinglebacks. Give them a saucer of milk and they'll remember.
18. I love World Music - the last CD I bought was by DUB INC (French Reggae)
19. I used to learn the violin. Unlike learning a piano, with a violin you need to get to quite a high standard before anyone else can bear listening to you. I didn't get there.
20. I love anything to do with space, especially those colour photos of galaxies and nebulas. Just looking at them makes me feel good. BTW - David Tennant rules! Or maybe John Barrowman ...
