"Eeshu...."Uday spoke slowly looking here and there.

"Eeshu, forgive me" He sat on knees holding her hand.

"Who am I to forgive you Uday?" She spoke with a frown looking away.

"Eeshu, What the hell you are saying?"

"Why are you talking like that?" He hugged her tightly while she tried to push him away sternly.

"Yes, Uday, Who the hell I am to you?"I mean it.you should've asked yourself the same question when you hide the things from me? When you didn't turn up to see your pregnant wife at the hospital?"

"You didn't even bother to make a call to me when I came straight here to my brothers' home." She said looking away not trying to meet his fervent gaze.

"Eeshu...." Uday shouted listening to her rants.

"You are the one who came here. It's our home Eeshu, you don't need an invitation to come to your house."

"So you want me to come here and take me to our home?"

"So, you were expecting an invitation to come to your own house, Our house." He looked at her in disbelief.

Eeshu got surprised to listen to his words.

He kept a sulky face and used a few cuss words to alleviate his anger.

"Oh really? Don't you think I need a proper explanation after all the fuss you created?"

"Don't I?"She caught his collar and asked looking straight into his eyes.

"You are pregnant I don't want to give any kind of stress to you." He said trying to loosen her grip over his collar.

"Pregnant wife...Abala nari.." She chuckled looking at him accusingly for giving a lame excuse.

"Abala Nari...What are you saying Eeshu? Have you lost your mind? you know I came here with an ecstatic feeling. I am so eager to let you know that I have solved the problem and he just confessed all his sins he committed and we are finally out of this mishap."

"You just spoiled my mood, I needed a couple of days, and I did it." He said a bit proudly with a smirk on his face.

"Huh..." She sighed and smirked back at him confusing him with her smile.

"Do you think you did it alone?"

"Why did he accepted your proposal in a single night?Why?" She crossed her hands over her chest and looked at him with a serious face.

"Means?"Uday got shocked by her words and looked at her with a pale face.

"I am constantly in contact with his P.A and he helped you." She said sitting on the chair slumping her shoulders.

"Why did you do that? I can do that alone, It might take another couple of days but you know I am capable of doing it."

"I can deal that s*ck b*star*..."

"I don't need my pregnant wife's help and stress her for such unnecessary things."He said turning around.

Eeshu's heart crushed to hear these words from him, Is it her husband saying that? She questioned herself?

He knows how she feels if someone disrespects her or underestimate her.

For her, her self-respect comes first.

Her father brought her up like a lioness and she is always a Queen.

She let a harsh sob out and sat there crying copiously.

Her Uday said something which she can't digest, which pricked her ego.

Those words are like a mark on her pride, they questioned her capability, her self confidence.

Uday realized his mistake and he is well aware of her nature.

He quickly ran to her and sat on the knees in front of her.

"So, you don't want your pregnant wife's help and your wife's money."

"You know I always wanted to ask you two questions,1)Why the hell you are hesitant to tell me the situation? 2)Why do you feel it's my money and my work?"

"I do things for you, I do earn for you,"

"What more I can say, I live for you damn it, Here my husband is hesitant to take my help, my money just because I am his wife."

"Will you leave me such if I am in your position?"

"Let us swap the roles and think from each others' perspective."

"Will you leave me on roads if I am bankrupt?" She asked looking into his eyes and he has no answer.

"I swear I didn't think such sweetheart."

"I was worried about you and I must keep you happy in this situation."

"Tell me, Isn't my responsibility to take good care of my pregnant wife?"

"I didn't think much" He confessed with a heavy heart and hugged her tightly.

"Don't bluff Uday" She is about to stand up and walk away but he caught her hand in time and made her sit on his lap.

"Let me go Uday."She slapped him playfully on his chest.

"How can I let you go after your cute confession."

"I always thought not to give pressure to my beautiful wife but I never thought she is feeling ignored or shunned."

"Let me clear the things, I never tried to dominate you but always worried not to hurt you. If I hide things from you remember I do it just not to give any kind of stress to you."

"And I know once I spill the beans, My father in law and his beautiful daughter won't sit quietly."

"Sorry but I dont need my in-law's money and never want to trouble them. I always thrive to show them that I deserve their daughter." He said trying to clear his point of view.

"Idiot, In-laws money....."

"Do you think I will ask for money from my father?"

"Don't you know what I am capable of?"

"For god sake, I am earning, sorry to say it but I earn more than you."

"I earn all this money through my sweat, my work, For whom I earn?" She asked him without any hesitation.

Her words are like knives and just blown away his mind.

He knows she is more talented than him but he never asked her about her savings.

He always tried to make her happy and build a small world for her with his money but this is a new situation.

He never thought about it.

"I am sorry...." That's what all he could say.

She looked at his sullen face and got up from his lap.

"Bloody Male ego..." murmuring something under her breath she took a few steps ahead.

"Devil..." He turned her hastily towards him and captured her lips vehemently.

"I never knew what your bank balance girl and Never wanted to know"

"I am glad to know that my wife is economically well off and proud of her."

"Don't dare to utter another word."

"I didn't think much, I was worried and followed my instinct." He said placing his forehead on hers.

"That's why I tell you to take your intelligent wife's advise every time."Eeshu pinched his cheek.

"That's what I do always." He smiled.

"I love you...."

"Please don't hide things from me ever, it hurts, sitting quietly while your loved ones are suffering, it's hard to imagine." She said cupping his face with teary eyes.

"I won't, I promise, I will share everything with you and don't hesitate to ask your help too."

"I hope we won't face such a situation ever."

"I will take care of it."

"But I want to tell you that I know that it's you, only you, whom else I can trust more than you...."Uday said wholeheartedly.

" I love you too dear, all I want is you to be happy."He pecked her lips again.

"Thank you..."She mumbled.

"I alone know the perks of having an intelligent wife.."

"I am honored..." He laughed happily looking at her smile.

Eeshu heart just fluttered listening to his words and indeed she is very fortunate to have a guy like him in her life, so caring and understanding.

What's the use of having all her money and intelligence without a loving partner, she thanked God for a second.

Not all have such a boon.
