"Please, do Something Karthik"

"I got stuck here in my room, "Likitha shouted from inside.

"Sona, I will do something don't cry." He said trying to figure out the solution for the problem.

"Karthik, I am afraid," She shouted again looking at the locked door.

Her breathing became so heavy and she got drenched in sweat glancing around.

"I am feeling suffocated, Karthik."

"Are you listening to me?" She got panicked and stood closing her eyes tightly in fear.

"Karthik......Could you hear me?"

"Why the hell you are not responding?'She cried loudly.

Her sobs are audible to him and Strange, he became nervous.

Why?

He has tackled many dangerous situations in his professional life but he was never nervous.

For a second he felt the same pain she is feeling, experiencing now.

He took some time to find out the solution.

"Open your eyes Likitha, don't get panic, I am here." She heard him saying those words like a stammer.

It did surprise both of them.

"Karthik, ....." She slowly opened her eyes mumbling his name.

She walked to the window, gulping down in fear, to catch a glimpse of him.

"I am claustrophobic Karthik and this confined room is driving me crazy. "She shouted in fear searching for him.

She wanted him to respond to the shouts but he is not here anymore.

Her heart sank at the thought.

"Where are you Karthik?"

"Where did you go?"She slumped on the floor trying to gasp some air.

Don't know when did she pass out but she suddenly felt a pair of warm hands cupping her face.

"Sona, Open your eyes"

"Sona.....look at me..."He patted her cheek gently asking her to look at him.

He is holding her in his hands very protectively like a kid.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw him staring at her curiously.

"Sona, you frightened me" He chuckled with a painful face.

She didn't say anything but hugged him tightly heaving a sigh.

He hugged her back and kept rubbing her back gently.

He can see how worried she is?

She is still shivering in his arms.

"Shhh!"

"Don't cry"

"Don't panic."

"I am here Sona."

"I am here...."

"You will be okay"

"You are okay my sona.."He said cradling her in his arms.

Her beat slowly calmed down and she lifted her head to catch a glimpse of his face.

"Everything is fine,  Sona. "

"Finally you broke that invisible barrier in our relationship."

"Such a fool I am, I broke your heart in the process of not hurting you."

He said making her sit on the bed.

She got hiccups so suddenly and he quickly passed her the bottle of water lying on the table beside the bed.

She drank half of it into two or three gulps and look at him with a quiet face.

He took the bottle from the hand and hugged her after a second.

She buried her face in his chest.

"Why did you lock the door if you are claustrophobic?" He asked as gently as he could, controlling her anger.

"I was fine till the moment I realised it

"I completely forgot that It has some problem."

"Sorry, the thought itself drove me so crazy" She answered the sincerely.

He made her sit on his lap and She quickly embraced his shoulder pecking his forehead.

"How did you come inside?"She asked him after a second hugging a bit possessively.

"Sona you forgot there is a balcony and it is connected to next room," He said caressing her hair.

"Yes! I am a fool" She pouted turning her gaze towards the balcony.

He cupped her face and looked into her eyes for a second.

"I am a fool, you aren't"

"I admit I should talk about things properly, Don't know why I fail to express myself."

"I hurt you Sona, I am sorry" He kissed her properly without a hurry.

They kissed for a second not paying heed to anything.

They forgot about the world and melted like butter in each other's arms.

They parted away trying to gasp some air.

"It's my fault too, I failed to understand you."

"I should've asked you why did you do that?" She said sincerely kissing all over his face.

"We both are at fault, let's stop blaming ourselves." He declared.

"Yes!" She nodded and smiled faintly.

"We love each other greatly but failed miserably to express it"

"Communication is one of the crucial pillars of a relationship and sad, We failed at it." She said nodding her head.

"I promise you, This won't be repeated further."He said very genuinely and her eyes glistened with tears.

"Me too.."

"Whatever the situation, How much tough it might be let us face it together, let us solve it together.'

"Let us talk and solve it..." She said looking into his eyes.

He nodded and claimed her lips without a thought telling her his willingness.

Suddenly her phone started rattling, singing her favourite song, disturbing their passionate kiss.

With a sulky face, She lifted the call, gently pushing him away from her with great difficulty.

"Ok, Dad...." She spoke for a second and cut the call looking at him in despair.

"They came back and dad  wants me to open the main door..."She said looking at her husband.

"Now how to open the door."She said pointing the door.

"Should we leave it as such?" She said moving towards the balcony to reach the other room.

"Wait, I have my ways Sona..." He smirked and took a gun from his back pocket.

"Today, I need to break all the barriers between us.."

"I can't take the risk as you were inside early, hence I opted the  balcony to reach you."

"Now I don't want to waste the time anymore."

"Let me break it."

"Close your ears, "He said a bit seriously.

She did it gulping down glancing at the gun.

"Today or tomorrow we need it to break it, Why not now?" Saying it he aimed at the lock.

He shot it with a smirk playing on his lips, while she stood near to him, closing her ears.

He destroyed the lock and she kept looking at him in sheer amusement

"Finally" He laughed embracing his hand over her waist.

"Let's go home and finish the unfinished work." He whispered a bit seductively making her blush like an apple.
