"Ahhhh...Sudhan!"Nithya shouted in fear.

"Nithya, Calm down!"Sudhan hugged her tightly caressing her hair.

She opened her eyes slowly and looked at Sudhan in terror.

"We are fine, Don't worry" He mumbled opening the car door.

They narrowly escaped a big accident. Sudhan tactfully stopped the car and saved themselves falling from the bridge on the roadside.

He caught her hand and made her came out of the car.

It's like a rebirth to both of them.

He quickly cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

"We are fine, Nithya,"

"We are fine, nothing had happened to us," He said blowing some air on her face asking to relax.

"Hmm....." She nodded and looked around.

The next second she broke into tears hugging him tightly.

He doesn't know what to say and how to console her.

He frightened her with his recklessness, reluctance, He should have checked his car, it's the condition before starting the journey.

Catching her confused expression, he quickly embraced his hands around her and patted her shoulder gently.

They stayed in silence for a few minutes forgetting everything.

Both of them are feeling a kind of warmness in each other's arms.

"We need to go" Nithya broke the hug with a screechy tone asking Sudhan to leave her.

Her words bring his conscience back, He nodded releasing her from his embrace mouthing a Sorry.

He doesn't want to leave her, A pang of jealous hit him strong and he felt conscious about his feelings for the first time.

He forgot about everything, what all he wanted is Nithya.

What all he wants is her to stay beside him.

This brought a smile on his face and that is the moment he realised his love towards her.

"Yes...Yes!" He fumbled with both words and actions.

She looked at him in fear, gulped audibly looking at the intensity in his eyes.

"Relax" He smiled widely and caught her hand, mumbling in her ear.

She doesn't know what to do? What's now?

She looked at him with a frown not knowing what is he exactly doing?

"We will go by Taxi!"

"But.., we might run out of time..." She slumped her shoulders and shook her head in disappointment.

"Don't worry, Everything will be alright."Sudhan looked straight into her eyes and smiled.

A lone tear escaped from her eye instantly.

All her hopes will be crushed soon.

Not to forget he is going to meet his love interest Avni.

She asked her heart to stay strong, She is going to witness their union.

Still, a part of her is happy, happy for him.

Unlike her, he going to win his love, he is lucky.

She quickly wiped away her tear and tried to smile back.

Sudhan noticed her gloomy face and the lone tear escaped from the corner of her eye.

He was always doubtful about her interest on him, he thought it will be a mere infatuation, and she will eventually get rid of it in time.

But she proved him wrong, She is a truly selfless girl, she always thought about his happiness, keeping her interest and opinions aside.

He wanted to hug her, kiss her, but before expressing his feelings to Nithya, he wants to talk to Avni.

He heaved a sigh and waited for Taxi, smiling inside.

Now, he is well sure about his feelings, till second ago he was in kind of confusion but this incidence gave him enough clarity about his feelings.

Finally, the taxi appeared and they got into it.

Nithya kept calm all the time, avoiding Sudhan's intense gaze.

She isn't that naive not to notice the change in his behaviour after the hug they shared.

She felt jolts in her spine and she truly wanted to stay in his arms forever.

To her, surprise, Sudhan asked to drive to drove to the nearest restaurant.

Nithya almost forgot it's eight in the evening, and they haven't eaten anything from the afternoon.

She quickly averted her gaze to him and looked into his eyes knitting her eyebrows with a puzzled face.

He chuckled snapping his finger on her face.

His smirk is back and dancing magnetically on his lips.

This surprised Nithya more and brought a smile on her lips immediately.

Sudhan caught her unspoken question and answered by rubbing his stomach with a fake frown.

She got down from the car without a word, simply nodding and chuckling at his antics.

She knows this handsome man will be the death of her someday.

They walked into the restaurant and occupied a chair

She looked so exhausted and pale, he felt a strange pain in his heart.

Who is she and what's the need for her to bear all the pain?

He forwarded his hand and took her hand gently.

"Relax"

"What has to happen will happen for sure?"

"We can't change anything by worrying and starving"

"Fate, It's all our fate."He patted it, gently.

She smiled gently taking her hand away from his grip.

He chuckled at her reaction and pinched her cheek.

Nithya's cheek turned red like a tomato and she sat lowering her head, biting her lip, smiling goofily.

Sudhan ordered a few dishes and looked back at her.

Nithya sat worried looking at her phone singing her favourite song.

Sudhan got intrigued to look at the caller Id and found it's her dad who is calling her on phone.

"Pick the phone" Sudhan mumbled and took her phone into his hands.

"Don't do this, he will get worried about your safety"

"Tell him that you are with your friend, Please" He begged her.

She simply nodded her head in response.

He lifted the call, not giving her any chance, keeping it in speaker mode.

"Dad" Her voice became screechy, shaky.

"Nithya" He spoke affectionately like every other time.

"Dad, I am sorry, I called you but you were busy, I told mom that I am going to Preeti's house, She begged me to spend some time with her," Nithya said at a stretch anticipating a reply from him.

He didn't speak, Silence on the other side frightened her more.

"I am sorry dad, I am sorry, I should've told you earlier, it's my fault, what to do, It was truly unexpected." She tried her best to stop the sobs about to escape from her mouth.

"Nithu, dear, Don't cry"

"I am not angry with you"

"Calm down" He spoke hastily listening to her sobs.

"Be careful, I made a call to know whether you have eaten anything?"

"You have this bad habit of skipping food" He complained.

"I am about to have my dinner, dad" she spoke looking at the dishes placed in front of her on the table.

They talked for a few more seconds and cut the call.

Sudhan was listening to her call patiently smiling widely.

His heart was fluttering all the time looking at different expressions the face.

Sure, this evening going to be memorable for both of them.
