Time flew by. Thranduil was absolutely amazing and took care of me all through my pregnancy.

And finally I did have a girl, and we named her Luna.

I never went to the library.

I didn't care.

I had all I needed right where I was.

Times continued to go by.

Some good, and some bad.

But we made it through with so much love and support for each other.

Legolas grew up to be strong and brave.

Luna was still a child.

I say "was" for a reason.

It was a quiet day in the castle, Thranduil woke me up with a kiss and soon Luna came bounding in.

We lay together for awhile before we were interrupted by a loud sound.

The warning horn.

We were under attack.

It had come on so quickly.

"Stay in here, you'll be safe." he said, and ran off.

But he was wrong.

The Orcs burst in.

I grabbed Luna, and I made sure that she wouldn't get hit.

I felt the arrow pierce through my skin and into my back! just below my stomach area.

But Luna was safe. That was all that mattered.

Soon Thranduil came in. He saw me an got Legolas to take Luna.

I was dying.

"Maydrien." he whispered.

"Don't do anything irrational when I'm gone. Make sure you and the children love forever." I replied in a raspy voice.

"I promise. I love you." he sobbed quietly.

"I love you too King Thranduil of Mirkwood." I choked out.

And then I woke up in a beautiful field of blue flowers.

"Nana!!" My son called to me in a joyous voice.

I was home.

But never would I stop loving Thranduil, the man who's heart was made of ice, but the elf who loved me more than anyone.

Yeah yeah she has her dead husband but WHATEVAH.

That was a terrible story.
