Haldir and I parted. It was very sad. "I will see you when you return." he said to me.

"If I return..." I mumbled.

"Don't think like that!"

"Well it's true."

"You'll be fine."

"Thanks Haldir."

"You're tough. You'll get through it."

We hugged, and said one last goodbye, before we parted ways.

The visit to Radagast was short. I felt bad for leaving so soon, but I knew that Radagast preferred to be alone.

I walked. On and on. Through bush, and plains. For nine days.

I thought of Thranduil, and Legolas everyday.

It broke my heart a bit, I missed them so much. But I was going to end our pain. I was going to stop Reyna.

Finally on the ninth day, I found her. Reyna and an army of Orcs.

I decided to stay hidden in the shadows.

I crept into the forest and stayed hidden, spying on Reyna.

I could hear her planning battle on Mirkwood again.

Ugh, so pushy. Couldn't she go bug some other kingdom?

I was so busy watching the "prostitute" as Radagast would say, that I didn't hear someone come up behind me.

I felt a hand go over my mouth, and a blade held to my throat.

"I'm going to remove my hand, but if you scream I will slice your neck." A male voice spoke threateningly.

"Who are you?" He asked, when I was free to speak again.

"Maydrien of Mirkwood. And you?" I asked.

"Rayaldsy, a ranger." he replied.

"Can you please remove your blade from my throat?"

"Oh yeah, sorry."

"It's fine."

"Wait did you say Maydrien of Mirkwood?"

"Yeah..."

"Not the Queen Maydrien?"

"Oh, um... yeah that's me..."

"I am so sorry your Majesty."

"Oh, it's fine."

"I was just by Mirkwood four days ago, visiting a friend."

"Really?"

"Yeah, the King is..."

"Yes?"

"Are you sure you want to know?"

"Yes."

"Well, he's locked himself in his chambers... He stopped eating... and he stopped sleeping..."

"Why can't he just not grieve?"

"What brings you here anyways?"

"Reyna... You?"

"Same reason."

"Ah..."

I looked at the clueless army, here Rayaldsy and I were sitting, chatting away, and the whole army was completely oblivious.

"So why do you hate her?" Rayaldsy asked me.

"She tried to kill the prince. And made everyone hate me. And is trying to ruin my life."

"Ah... that would do it."

"What about you?"

"She killed my parents."

"Oh my, I'm so sorry."

"Thanks."

"How about we work together to bring her down?"

"Sounds great."

"Tomorrow?"

"Perfect."

And we just chatted, and hid amongst the shadows the rest of the night.
