"Eun has finally managed to make his seed take in that dumb little wife of his."

-

Minji sent out a letter for her parents, informing them that she wanted them to visit her. Eun sent for his parents the next morning, as well as Soon Deok and Han. When everyone was gathered in their living room, the young couple had the servants serve them tea and offer them simple finger foods. But everyone was curious and anxious to know what the news was. Before being gathered there, they had all heard the rumors about them. How Minji and Eun no longer slept in the same bed, not even the same room. They all worried that the two would not have good news. Especially General Park and his wife.

They knew how things in the palace worked. Once a royal grew bored with one wife, they were allowed to search for another one, leaving their first wife to spend an eternity alone, always waiting for her husband to drop by for a visit. They didn't think the tenth prince was capable of something like that, but it was a life they didn't want for their youngest daughter.

"We have wonderful news for you all." Minji said, bringing her hands together and barely able to contain her excitement. A smile spread across her lips and Eun wrapped an arm around her waist securely. Everyone in the room seemed to release a worried breath they didn't even know they were holding in. But especially Han, as he knew first hand from his older brother what had happened between them. Now the two seemed to be okay and better than ever. She slowly dropped her hands and placed them on her belly which at the moment was nonexistent. "The doctor just informed Eun and I that we're going to have a baby."

There were smiles and laughs of joy, especially from Eun's mother, whose ultimate dream was to see her grandchildren and this one would be the first. Han was also overjoyed, and he hurried up to his brother, pulling him into his arms for a hug. "Congratulations hyung. I'm so proud of you." He said with a wide smile on his lips, a bit more quietly he added just loud enough for him and Minji to hear. "Pregnant after just one time. You must be a real stud." He looked towards Minji and winked at her, sending a blush to burn on her cheeks. She also wondered just how much Eun would tell him about their relationship. But they were brothers after all and she knew Han wasn't going to ventilate that information to anyone else.

Eun laughed in an innocent confusion. "I don't know what you're saying."

As they pulled away, Han dropped a heavy hand on his shoulder. "Its probably better that you don't know. But I'm sure she knows well. She seems to catch onto things quickly." He gestured to Minji who was blushing madly.

His mother was next to congratulating them, and she hugged her eldest son tightly. "You're so young, my child, only eighteen. Still a little boy and already going to have a child of your very own." She paused as her throat closed up and her words became choked up. Her almond eyes brimmed up with tears and a few spilled as she closed her eyes. Eun held her tightly, so much love reflected in his embrace because she had been the one to raise him. He truly loved his mother and would do anything for her, even if he had been an arrogant little prince growing up. As she pulled away from him, she grabbed Minji's hand, in hers. She then took Eun's hand in her other one. "My son couldn't have found someone to love him better. A mother can tell, your love is so pure and you both love each other so much."

Minji nodded her head, tearing up herself.

Soon Deok and her mother were next, offering them a few words of congratulations, letting her know that they were happy to hear the good news. Minji could feel a sadness radiating off her sister because she knew this was what would ultimately seal the deal. Them having children made it even more impossible for her and Eun to be together, not that Eun would ever want to be with her.

Last was her father, General Park. Though Soon Deok had always been more attached to him and Hak Soon to her mother, she was still his little girl. His youngest daughter and he always dreamed that he would be giving her away at the altar at eighteen. Now she was only fifteen and already married to a prince, and even pregnant with his child no less. But at least, he consoled himself by thinking, she no longer looked miserable like she did the first day they got married. There was a new glow of utter bliss in her that he noticed. Perhaps she was just as in love with her husband as he with her. She just needed a little extra push to notice it.

"My dearest Hak Soon..." He took both of her hands in his.

"Appa..." She replied and it was all it took for him to burst into tears. It was a first that anyone had ever seen him cry, as he was a very strong willed man who hardly ever let his emotions show. In the military, the other soldiers mocked any sign of weakness, and they considered crying to be one of those signs.

"Don't mistake my tears for sadness." He assured her, pulling her into his arms for a hug. "I'm so happy for you and our tenth prince. But I would have liked to have you by my side longer. You're still a child yourself."

A faint little smile formed on Minji's lips and she offered her father some words of reassurance. "You musn't worry for me, appa. My husband takes care of me well, and my mother in law has put it into words perfectly. No one could love me better than he loves me." She reached for Eun's hand in hers and the tenth prince found himself grinning madly. Just her mere touch was enough to heal any aches or pains he had been feeling for the last two months. All of that had melted away and made way for them to start over.

He would no longer worry about Jung and her love for him. She said she would be loyal to him forever, and he hoped that with time she would love him too.

Yo had over heard the servants gossiping as he walked about the palace on his way to breakfast with the king and his other siblings. Since getting married, Eun no longer visited the palace every day like he used to. The same was for his brother Han. But Yo didn't mind their absence. He only wished So, Mu, Wook, and Baek-ah could disappear as well. Maybe even Won who found seemingly impossible ways to get on his nerves all the time. He only kept his brother around in order to use him for his dirty work.

"I heard that little prince Eun has finally managed to get his wife pregnant." One of the maids whispered disapprovingly. "Half a year married and they couldn't have kids until now."

The maid that she was whispering to gasped in surprise. "I honestly thought he was unable to have children, since it was taking them so long to get started making a family."

"Maybe." The woman shrugged as she continued going about her chores, washing dishes while the other dried them. "Some people are saying that the tenth prince allowed his brother to take her, just so she'd give him kids and make everyone think they were his. He announced her pregnancy to his and her close family a few days ago."

With his newfound information, Yo headed for the breakfast table, ready to tell his brothers the news that Eun seemed to be hiding from them. He wondered why Eun hadn't invited them to the announcement, not even Baek-ah and So who he seemed to get along with now. But it had been more of Minji's decision to not invite them. She feared that the news would get back to the king quicker if they knew.

As he sat down at the table, his other brothers arrived one by one. Soon they were all there and the king had arrived last. Yo waited until they were all settled in to spring the news on them. The maids had already served them tea and their breakfast.

He picked at his food calmly, releasing the words as though it was really nothing particularly special. "So our dear little brother Eun has finally managed to make his seed take in that dumb little wife of his." The words seemed to take everyone by surprise and they all looked towards him with surprise evident on their faces. He let out a chuckle in amusement as he continued. "All the servants either thought he was sterile, or that he let Jung fuck his wife. Quite honestly, I'd believe either of the two. Eun never seemed to be interested in women before getting married, and that girl looks like the type to sleep with anyone. I bet she'd let any of us have a go with her--"

Jung, who was sitting at the table slammed his fist down on it, startling his other brothers and the king while Yo continued laughing like something truly entertaining had happened.

"I will not allow you to disrespect Hak Soon's honor like that." The fourteenth prince said through gritted teeth. There was a murderous glint in his eyes that if looks could kill, his brother would have long been dead. "You'd best stop talking now hyung, unless you want do die by my hand. Apologize." He demanded. "Apologize and take back your words now if you value your life."

Yo's laugh immediately ceased and he was filled with anger. "You dare to make threats to me?"

"If you continue talking about her like that--"

"If I continue talking about her like that what?" His older brother challenged. The others only watched the two go back and forth. They had hardly ever argued, since Yo was the one who mostly bossed Jung around. Though, in front of their mother, he treated his younger brother well. "She's a dumb woman who didn't choose you in the end anyway. And you actually thought she loved you." Yo once again laughed in his face.

Having had enough of him, Jung reached across the table and gripped the material of Yo's gown, pulling him up with surprising strength until he was hunched in an uncomfortable position over the table.

"I warned you." Jung hissed.

Before Yo could even say anything, or even move, the king decided to finally interfere. "Jung-ah, unhand your brother right now. You know what the consequences of your bad decisions will be." He voice was so full of authority that it triggered flashbacks in Jung's mind of the king's threats. If he were to cause any more trouble at all, he would hurt Minji. Jung's arms dropped to his sides and Yo fell face first onto the table, his face falling into his plate and becoming smeared with food.

"Your majesty," Baek-ah tried to interfere as the voice of reason. "Please don't be harsh on Jung-ah."

Yo shot his other younger brother a glare as he lifted his head, reaching for a napkin to wipe the food off his face. He had never really cared for Baek-ah. But now that he was being so quick to defend Jung, he liked him even less. So tried to stifle his laughter from his seat at the table, but he was ignored by the others, as there was something more important going on before their eyes.

"He's learning the ways of the dirty wolf dog." Yo said with venom seeping through his words.

"Yo--" The king finally shot him a warning. Merely saying his name was enough to get him to be quiet. Looking to Jung, he continued, "Now sit down Jung-ah and finish your food. I will not have my sons fighting over some woman in front of me."

"I'm no longer hungry." Jung stated and stormed off, leaving the rest of the princes and the king at the table.
