Chapter Three Today was Normal Enough

     Masako's POV

My step mom never got to explain what happened to me, but I got an idea. The first time I ever visited the place, five men tried killing me with a submachine gun and other mysterious and brutal weapons until Hitomi told them not to, so I figured her place was some kind of murder house. And guess what? IT KIND OF WAS. About a month after I started suspecting it was dangerous, she finally told we what it was: A MAFIA UNIT. Now that I knew, she asked me to join, and when I refused, she got angry and ordered someone to kill me. It was one of the guys from the last month who tried killing me with that electric gun. Boy was it electrifying (see what I did there? Har har...).  I literally freaked out and swung a bunch of random things at him causing him to run like a kid.  My step mom got upset and just left me to leave.  Happily, I left and went to my apartment and slept the rest of the day.  I can't believe her... she wanted ME to take them down?  Stupid bitch...

I took out a book ordered a bowl of shrimp ramen from Atsumu at LRN, aka the boss and home of the Black Foxes.  "Mr-"

"Boss. Just call me boss." he replied smiling and then walking into the kitchen. I opened my mouth, but then I closed it and nodded. I began reading my book by Ryoichi Hirose, but I was almost too overwhelmed from last night.

"But Aiko! I've always loved you! Don't go!" sobbed Gon. Aiko looked at him sadly and smiled. Her beautiful red hair blew in the wind, and she pulled up her hood.

"I'm sorry." she said her voice cracking. "I'm sorry." She ran up to him and kissed him. "I love you. I really do. But I love you enough to let you go." she whispered brokenly breaking away from him and running away. Gon broke down on the spot and cried as the rain started falling.

"Ah~ The feels..." I mumbled closing the book and leaning back in my chair. This was my secret fangirl side that NO ONE got to see. I looked over to three of the men who had taken me hostage. None of them were bad looking. In fact, they were HOT. But I didn't care. They kidnapped, and when I was sleeping, one of them went through MY bag. It angered me so bad, I didn't talk to anyone except for Boss the old man who wasn't bad looking either.

"Masako-chan!" yelled Hyosuke. He had purple curly hair and gold brown eyes. He smiled widely.

"Don't call me that." I replied flatly.

"Okay Masa." he said. I jumped at the nickname and glared at him.

     "Masa?" I asked.

"Masa, Masa, Masa!" he said walking back to the counter. He stared mockingly at me for a few seconds and then stuck his tongue out and turned around. I sighed angrily and looked out the window.

Masa... That's not a name I've heard in a long time... Whatever. I hate my name and I hate that name. "Masako." I can't believe all of the shit going on. Like what the fuck. "Masako." And they looked through my bag! What the hell were they thinking?! "Masako!" I looked up at the person call in me. It was Riki. He looked annoyed from calling on me so much.

     "What?" I asked.

"It's closing. Can you go flip the sign?" I looked over at the door that was seven feet away. Too far... Well whatever. I stood up and flipped the sign over. Riki nodded and sat down at a table. He doesn't seem to like me... Oh well. I don't give a fuck.   Whenever I glanced at him, I saw his silvery blue eyes looked at me suspiciously. I furrowed my brows exasperated and laid my head on the table. Out of all the nights I could've came over to Hitomi's... Hiro sat right next to me and smiled.

"Hey, Masa!" he sang. I narrowed my eyes.

"Don't call me that." I said.

     "Okay Masa-chan!"

     "Don't call me that either!"

Kenshi glanced over at us and smiled.  "Hey Masa."

"Not you too!" I yelled. "It is Masako!"

     "Masa."

     "Masako!"

     "Masa."

     "Masako!"

     "Masa."

     "Masako!"

     "Masako."

"I'm telling you, it is Masa! What?! Damn you!" I screamed. They all laughed and smirked.

"She's a little like Takuto." Riki said smirking. "Easily tricked and angered."

"What? I'm not like that idiot at all!" Takuto retorted angrily. Idiot? I raised my eyebrows, ignored him, and ordered a beer.

"Thanks." I said after Boss handed me a can. I drained it ten seconds and tossed it into the trash.

"Time to discuss." said Riki. They all nodded and gathered around a table. Hiro tapped my shoulder in sign to get up, and I rolled my eyes and stood up to see. Takuto was on his laptop typing away pulling up documents, and Riki laid a blueprint on the table with some different colored lines on it.

"According to this, the owner of the mansion and painting as of now is a man named Ai Tsugura. He is a former member of a unit of the mafia. I intercepted his message to a women named Sani Watashi." said Takuto. "He said, "I plan on selling the painting for two hundred thousand dollars." Riki nodded and pointed to the blue print. His finger traced the green line as he spoke. It lead all the way to the top of the building.

"The paintings are most likely hidden in the attic and brought down in this narrow passage way placed in the side of the building and brought down to the basement where the auction will be held." Riki said. "Taiga and Hyosuke will go in through this window and intercept the people carrying the painting down after Takuto disables the security cameras and traps. We'll give you a sign when to go." Taiga and Hyosuke nodded. "Kenshi and Tatsuro will takedown guards and keep watch outside. Yuki and I will go in and find Tsugura. Hiro will hold up the auction. This will takeoff in a week from now." They all nodded and went outside to their homes. I guess I do nothing? Oh well. I sat down and Boss patted my head. I looked up and he smiled. Riki went upstairs. Is this where he lives? Lucky him. I would die happy to live in a restaurant! Sighing, I leaned back in my chair and grabbed another beer. At least today wasn't like the yesterday.
