Jeren looked at Casey and then left, we all decided to leave too.

Once we got to school the next day, Casey was late, Jack and I were walking when we saw Jeren kiss Hanna!
"What do you think new girl? I think we should tell Casey" Jack says loud enough for Jeren to hear.
"No it's not like that!" He blurts as Hanna walks away...
"Why are you cheating on our best friend then?" I test

"Just don't tell her!"

"We will" Jack and I said in unison. And just then, she comes in.
"Hey Cas!" I say.

"Jeren cheated on you!" Jack says

"What? Jeren? Is this true?" She asks, on the brink of tears.

"Yes...." He says "and I'm glad I did! I hate you!" He adds "I pretended to love you so I got good grades!" That triggered it, she was crying now.

After school, Jack took all 4 of us to his house and we tried cheering up Casey.

"He was nothing but a rotten cheating jerk!" I say.

"There are people much better than him!" Jack adds then mumbles something that sounded like 'Like me'

"Thank you... I thought I loved him but I didn't! I realized that from you" Casey says with a smile.
