Wounded
She stumbled through the rainforest, trying to find their village. Finally, she found a RainWing peacefully sitting on guard. Minutes before, she had noticed Deathbringer's wound. It was green and red as pus and blood mixed together and dried on her talons. Thinking about made her dizzy and she stumbled, finally dropping Deathbringer as the RainWing guard steadied her.
"What happened, Your Majesty?"
"Skywings... Deathbringer... I need help," she whimpered, and passed out cold on top of Deathbringer in a pile of their blood.

Deathbringer's POV
Everything hurt when he woke. He lay in pain for several minutes, and bolted upright as he remembered what had happened. Is she okay? She has to be okay. She saved me. I'm alive.
He looked around and saw he was in the healers hut. He saw her, then. With a gasp he saw she was lying on a cot, dried blood coating her claws. Her scales were white with pain, and her breathing was shallow. What have they done to you? How have they hurt you... Because of me? The guilt was overpowering. Suddenly, her eyelashes fluttered, and she sat up, staring around in a panic. She relaxed a little as she saw she was safe. Her gaze turned toward him.
"I guess I saved you this time. That's another one for my list."
"Yeah. I am forever in debt to you," he said mockingly. She grinned, but then her face hardened.
"Deathbringer... What do you know?"
"I... I saw a lot of things when I was on the continent-" a healer burst in the room.
"You're awake! You both are. How do you feel."
"Awful," they said in unison. Glory continued.
"I need to address my dragons. Today. And talk to Deathbringer."
"Queen, you are so weak."
"Today! This is urgent. I feel fine. This is a direct order." She certainly did not look fine. And he was dreading telling her what he knew, even though it wasn't his fault. She would be put even more at risk if she knew.
"As- as you wish your Majesty."
"Thank you. Gather the tribes." The healer bowed and left the room.
"Deathbringer, I don't know what you haven't been telling me, but I need to know." Her voice broke. He hadn't even known the Skywings had seen him, but apparently they had, and had sought him out.
"A couple years ago, I was in burns stronghold, trying to kill her. Some Skywings were there, because they were her allies, you know? And I heard them talking. They didn't want to support Burn, or Scarlet, or anyone. They wanted a new Queen. Over all of Pyrrhia. They wanted it to be them. I got out of there as fast as I could. But now that the war is over, I guess they're putting the plan into action. By conquering the most valuable Queen, the Queen over two tribes. By targeting you. I assume they tried to kill me because they caught me spying on them, and didn't want me to warn you. I didn't know they'd act on any of this. I didn't know how powerful they were."
"Thank you. I don't suppose you know how they plan to kill all the Queens?"
"No. I'm sorry Glory. I love you. I didn't want this to happen to you."
"I know." The healer came back in.
"Your Majesty. The dragons have assembled. They are ready for you."
"Thank you. Deathbringer, help me up." They tried to hold on to each other, but collapsed in a heap. Two healers supported them as they made their way onto the stage.
"My tribes, many of you know what happened last night, but if you didn't, me and Deathbringer were attacked by two Skywings. They are plotting to kill the queens and take over all of Pyrrhia. If you have any information about their whereabouts, please tell me. Our lives are at stake."
One NightWing stepped forward. He had a scar down his face.
"I know who they are. I know what their planning. He is my brother. And he tried to kill me, too. My name is Nightwalker. And I have promises to keep." And with that, he lunged at the RainWing Queen.
Ooh, a hybrid. NightWings and Skywings siblings? What does this mean? Happy real ease say of Assassin!
