"So, where are we going?" You asked as you felt the wind blow through your hair.

"What materials do you need?" Feitan asked right back, "I was just getting us away from the crime scene"

"Honestly, I don't need anything else now."

"Really? That's not a lot of materials." He glanced over at you, "We were hardly gone for a few days."

"Do missions normally take longer? I thought you were good at your career," You teased gently as you leaned your face a little more into the open window.

Feitan laughed a small laugh and chided you gently. The truth was that he was reconsidering the career. Not on a big scale of course, he would always steal what he wanted, but the Troupe had begun to feel less like his family and more like his relatives. People he didn't mind seeing occasionally, but no longer felt close to. They didn't feel what he felt. They didn't feel love. He told you that there was something about sharing a language, about sharing a feeling of being an outsider, that changed everything.

The car ride was one that belonged in the movies: the flowing wind, the deep conversation and the warmth of the sun gently caressing your skin. You felt similar to Feitan-- a desire not to return quite yet. Being free of your family gave you a sense of relief and relaxation. Being out of Meteor City did even more. The air was free of dust, the world felt beautiful around you and there wasn't much of a reason to remain on high alert. If someone had asked you where you thought you were, it might have been tempting to answer "Paradise".

This brought you back to your work, however. It needed to be done and needed to be done in running water. Preferably, it would be completed in private as well. It was, after all, a surprise that only Chrollo knew about.

"Do you know anywhere that rains a lot?" It was worth a shot to ask, you figured.

"No, but I know a foggy place. The bastard Hisoka went there during his hunter exam. Will fog work?"

"Maybe. We can try." You smiled and reached out to put a hand on Feitan. Quickly, his hand met yours and held it in a warm and gentle embrace.

"I miss seeing you." You blurted out suddenly. "When we stop, can we take a shower or a bath together?" You wouldn't have been able to see it, but his face lit up red and you could feel the corresponding heat in his hand. Promptly, you lowered your voice and felt another question bubble out of your mouth. "A real shower or bath... Without clothes."

If he hadn't gripped the steering wheel with a death grip, Feitan was sure he would have crashed immediately. Since the last kiss, he had been dying for more. And he was certainly ready to give it to you if you were asking. His thoughts went wild as he drove with a renewed purpose.
