Previously:

     He timidly rests his head on my stomach and then relaxes, wrapping his arms around my waist. I pet his hair and sigh. It feels like I'm cuddling a real cat. He's soft and cuddly, it even feels like he's purring.... wait, HE"S PURRING!!!! I think. "Chat, are you purring?" I ask. "N-no." He says while still purring. "You are!!! It's so cute." I squeal quietly. He chuckles. "I love you, Princess." He says. "I love you too, mon Chaton."  

Now:

   I woke up and looked out my window to see the cloudy skies. "Hopefully it doesn't rain Tikki." I say as I climb out of bed and get ready for school. As soon as I'm ready, I grab my stuff and head out the door. I run all the way to school even though I'm on time because it was FREEZING COLD outside. 

   I make it to my locker and put my stuff away before pulling out what I needed for class. I walked into the classroom and sat down next to Alya. "Hey girl, you're early." She said. I smile and shake my head at her. The teacher walked in and started class.

-Cue Time Skip Because The Author's In High School And It's Currently Boring-

   The bell rang and I put all of my stuff in my bag to head to lunch. I get food and sit down at the table with Alya, Nino, and Adrien. "So do any of you guys have any idea why there's been so many love Akumas recently?" Alya said. I thought about it and it didn't make sense why there was. "Maybe Hawkmoth's dealing with some love issues." Nino said.

Author: Sure Nino, we'll call it that, it's not like the author has a dying wish of seeing her love square ship pull together or anything...

   "I think that broken hearts are the easiest to Akumatize so that's why he does it." I said, trying to come up with a logical reason for Hawkmoth to be doing so many love Akumas. (Author: Because you need to get your head in the game and realize your partner in black is the blond that sits in front of you every day!!!! Same for you banana boy, you're both as dense as cement!!!!) "Well, whatever the reason, is sure is resulting in a few major Cat-astrophies for the heroes." Adrien said. I look at him and almost pass out after he says the cat pun.

   Could it really be Chat? But I mean, they're so different...right? Chat's flirty, courageous, and kind, and Adrien is kind, bold when his Father's not around, and funny... Oh. My. Kwami. They are the same person!!! But wait...that means I told Adrien to his face I had a crush on him! And what about when I had to kiss Chat for Dark Cupid, I was kissing my crush?! I'm going to die. I thought as I had a panic attack. 

Author: Finally, the dense child understands!!!

   "Um, girl, are you okay? You look like you have seen a ghost." Alya asked me. I snap out of my thoughts and smile at her. "Yeah, sorry, I just got lost in thought, what did I miss?" I said, twisting my purse strap under the table. "Oh, well Nino was giving Adrien a bunch of crap about his pun and it spiraled into this." Alya said, pointing to the boys who were now in an argument about puns. 

   "Boys, stop the fighting over something as minuscule as puns, okay? I'm only going to say this once, puns used at the right time and not excessively can be funny but they are not supposed to be used every sentence, no matter how much Chat tries to convince me of that." I say to them. They both stop and look at me. "Thank you Marinette, now we can finish our conversation." Alya said, shaking her head at the boys. "No problem Alya." I say, giving her a smile.

-Time Skip Because The Author Is Bored With School-

   I grab my backpack and head to the entrance of the school. I stand under the awning and look at the rain. "I love the rain but you have got to be kidding me, I do not want to run home in this." I mutter under my breath. I had stayed after school for a little bit so I could talk with the school board as I am the Class President this year. being there for a half hour after school, I thought I would be alone, but I guess not.

   "This reminds me of a certain day." I heard someone say behind me. I jump and whip my head around to see who it was. "Adrien, you scared me! Don't do that." I say as I punch his arm. He rubs his arm and says "Sorry." I look back out at the rain. "I know what you mean." I say softly, rubbing my cold hands together.

   "So, um, about yesterday with the Akuma..." Adrien says. I could tell he was uncomfortable with the subject and even though I knew that he was Chat, it's still incredibly awkward for both of us. I still can't tell him I know without him figuring out I'm Ladybug. But maybe that's the point.

   "It's okay, we can still be friends, just know I have a boyfriend and I love him. Even though I used to have a crush on you, I forgot about it when I fell in love with my boyfriend. I'm fine as long as you don't make a big deal about it." I say quietly, uncomfortable with telling him even though he already knew. I heard him shift and walk up beside me. "Well, I should start heading home while the storm has let up. Goodbye Adrien, mon Chaton." I said, whispering mon Chaton before running through the light sprinkle to my home. 

Adrien's POV:

   Mon Chaton. Mon Chaton. Her last words ran through my head as I went home, completed my homework, and sat on my bed, contemplating what it means. "Plagg, do you think she knows?" I said, still pondering her words that I wasn't supposed to hear but did. "Well, I'll be surprised if she's the only one who knows after the little stunt you pulled at lunch today." Plagg said, stuffing a piece of cheese in his mouth. I glared at him. "Your no help Plagg. Well, only one way to find out. Plagg, claws out!" I said. "Time to pay my Princess a visit." I said as I hopped out the window onto a nearby roof. 

Marinette's POV:

   "Oh Tikki, what if he heard me?! I'm not sure I want to tell him yet that I'm Ladybug." I say, pacing around my room. "Well, you don't have to tell him yet. I mean, you have been seeing him as Marinette for a while now, especially since you are dating." Tikki said. I smile at my kwami. She always seems to know what's best to do.

   "Thanks, Tikki. You better hide, I should be getting a visit from a certain cat very soon." I said. Tikki flew into one of the drawers of my box just as I heard a tap on my window. I opened it for Chat who was wet and shivering. "thanks, Princess." He said as he climbed in through the window.

   "So what are you doing here Chat?" I ask, hoping to possibly avoid the inevitable. "Well, I believe you already know that Princess." Welp, that isn't happening. I think, taking a deep breath. "Where do you want to start Adrien." I say as I sit down and pat the spot next to me for him to sit. He looks at me in disbelief and then slowly moves to sit next to me.
