Lucy's P.O.V

Shu looked at me before he got out of bed. "S...Shu-san" I tried to sit him back down but he stopped me. The look of annoyance came to his face.

"In five minutes you can let yourself out." He walked out of the room. What did he mean? He wanted me to help him right? I take that back, just looking at him now, he wanted me to leave. The thing was that doing that now would not help. Especially since he is sick. Even if I was just a one night stand, seeing a person suffer hurts, no matter who it is.

"I want to help you," I said as I followed where he went.

"You wanted to leave right?"

"Well, that was before I came to the conclusion you needed help." He stopped and looked at me.

"Perplexed huh?" He walked toward me. I found myself walking backward, only to trip over my own feet. He hovered over me and smirked. "You're so puzzled about what you want, it doesn't surprise me." What did he mean by that? "You're confused, idiot." He moved his lips to my ear. "You chose to stay at the house of a man who you only met one night and yet the man who actually wants you, you pushed away. Was there a reason why?" I felt my blood boil. He didn't know those two.

"Takashi-san misinterpreted my kindness and apologized soon after. That doesn't mean-"

"He tried to sleep with you, along with his friend? You are so blind to their meanings." He looked at me. "They still want you, even if you don't want them."

"Huh?"

"You came to me, even though I slept with you and thought I wouldn't try anything." My eyes widened.

"W..w...wait" His face moved an inch from mine.

"Yet to me you are just a one-night stand. Doing something like that with someone like you again would not happen."

"Someone like me?"

"Brainless, do you not understand what I mean?" My brows furrowed before I looked away from him. I wanted to slap him but I knew he had been saying this as a way to get me to leave.

He got up and walked into his room.

"I don't intend for you to do anything with me. I just wanted to help but since you have these notes from the doctor you can use them." I stood up.

"You say that yet even after I told you that information yet you're still here. Did you really want to sleep with me again?"

"No, that would only be a waste of time."

"I was the only person you've ever had sex with. So maybe you're attached to me?"

"Attached?" I felt my brows furrow before I walked into his room.

"I am not attached to a leech like you."

"A leech?"

"Find out the meaning yourself." I said before I walked out of his room. "Get well soon. You can take care of your own self right?" I walked toward the door. He walked out of his room.

"You're leaving now?"

"Of course. I mean my company isn't wanted here." I walked out of the apartment.

A Day Later

Shu's P.O.V

I heard a buzz causing me to withdraw my attention from my book I stood up and looked at the camera to see the same woman from yesterday. I pressed the speaker button.

"What do you want?" After yesterday I wouldn't have assumed that she would have been here again.

"Your doctor called me and told me that you didn't get your medicine."

"So" Her brows furrowed. "I am just checking on you. If you are fine I am done, I promise."

She annoyed me but since she promised that, I guess I would let her in. I buzzed her in.

"Come" After a minute I heard a knock on the door and opened it.

"Sit" I walked into the living room. She shook her head and continued to stand in the doorway.

"I am just checking on you is all, I do not plan on staying."

"Why?" I sat on my couch.

"It's just that lately work has been busy so I haven't had the time to do anything else-"

"Just check me." She nodded and walked over to me, going through her bag. She pulled out a small rectangular box before opening it. Out came a thermometer. She looked at me.

"Open your mouth." I opened it for her to place it inside my mouth. She pulled it out only for her face to nearly drain color.

"What is it?"

"Cold"

"Huh?"

"Your temperature, there is no way you should even be alive." She looked at me in my eyes before she touched my forehead. "You're so cold." She opened her bag.

"That is normal. Did you not learn after we slept together-"

"I...I understood but I didn't know you were that cold. Yesterday when the doctor examined you, you even had a high temperature but-"

"Oi, I am fine now leave."

"Shu-san I think you are worse than before."

"Leave"

"Do you at least plan to take your medicine-"

"Pervert what makes you think I am not telling the truth-" The sound of vibrating caught my ear.

"Pervert?" I looked in its direction to see what appeared to be a pink cellphone. I stood up only for Lucy to quickly run to it. She answered it. A bright red dusting her cheeks in seconds.

"M...Mision....master that.."

"Master?" So someone owned her.

"But...I know but that is...." Her brows soon furrowed. "They did what?.... I understand then....so how long will this last?...... Okay," She hung up.

"Are you finished with the checkup?"

"Yeah" She walked in the direction of the door. "I'm sorry if I interrupted you." She left.

I tried to sleep again after but for some reason something inside me stirred. It was just like when I slept with her, and the many women before. I hated this second need that begged me. I stood up and went into the back to get ready.
