Laksh went to his car and opened the passenger door, Ragini slowly walked towards him while still looking at him,,

She sat in the car and laksh closed the door and went to the driving seat.

Laksh: puts the belts on.

Ragini was lost in him so he snapped his fingers and she looked here and there embarrassed. She held the seat belt and didn't knew how to put them.

Ragini was practicing in the auditorium with her sitar and Swara and Laksh were sitting in the audience with other students..

Swara got sanskaar's phone call and she went out to pick it..

On the other side, Sanskar, who was sitting in his office, sighed: Huna kya tha.. I am missing you..

Swara smiled: I miss you too..

Sanskar: Hope Ragini jaldi se thik ho jaaye aur tum jaldi vapis aa jaao..

Swara: Aau ghi.. apni behan ke sath aau ghi.. aur jald hi.. acha chodo.. sab kaise hai? Kuch khaaya? Zyaada dair tak office mai mat rehna, ghar jaldi chaley jaana! Ok?!

Swara cut the call and went inside the auditorium.. she was going to sit back when she saw Aman watching Ragini from behind the pillar..

Swara: yeh larka ragini ko chup chup kai ku dekh raha hai?

Swara went to him.. and said while he was still giving the back to her: Ragini ko aise kyu dekh rahe ho?

Aman turned around.. he looked at Swara from bottom to top..

Ragini was walking on the road looking at the ring Swara gave her and she was wearing in the engagement finger.. when suddenly Aman came and held her hand.. Ragini looked on and got scared as she recognized his eyes... they were the same of the guy who some days ago dragged her in the boys washroom and misbehaved with her..

Ragini tried to free herself: Chodo hame!

Aman tighted the grip over her wrist and she hissed for pain..

Aman: Agar tum meri nehi ho sagti to mein tumhe kisi ka nehi hone doonga! Mein tumhe khush hi nehi rehne doonga!

Ragini was horrified and was trying to remove his hand from her wrist when suddenly someone made Aman turn and slapped him hardly..

Ragini looked on shocked..

Dp was standing in front of her and was angrily looking at Aman.. Ragini ran to him and hugged him crying: Papa ji!

Dp: Chup ho jaao beta.. hamne police ko phone laga diya hai.. voh is gunde ko le kr chaley jaye ghe.. tum rowo mat.. - he looked at Aman disgusted..

Ragini broke the hug and looked down sobbing..

Aman was about to push Dp when Ragini came between them and pushed Aman..

Ragini: humaray papa ji sai dur raho!!

Aman was about to go to her when police came and held him.. Aman was struggling to free himself but an officer made him wear an handcuff..

Dp: Tum jaise ladko ki vajah sai hamara samaajh ganda ho raha hai! Jinhe ladkyoon ki izzat nehi karni aati voh aise khuleaam nehi ghum sagta! Le jaaye isey!

The police started to drag Aman with them while he was still shouting: Mein vapis aau ga!! Jald hi vapis aau ga Ragini!!

Ragini hid herself behind Dp..

Dp looked at her: Tum thik to ho?

Ragini nodded: Shukriya.. hame bachane ke liye..

Dp smiled and put a hand on her cheek: Beti ho tum hamari.. yeh to hamara faraz tha..

Ragini smiled..

Dp: Aa jaao.. ham tumhe ghar chod daite hai..

Ragini: Nehi papa ji! Aap rehne do..

Dp: Papa ko na nehi bolte beta.. aur mein bhi baadi ki taraf hi jaa raha hu..

Ragini looked at him and the nodded following him in the car..

Dp dropped Ragini in front of the baadi..

Ragini came out of the car and joined her hands: Shukriya..

Dp smiled and went away..

Ragini looked at him furrowing her eyebrows and entered in the baadi thinking: Inko kaise pata tha ki ham baadi mai rehte hai..

She came in the courtyard and was about to go in the Gadodia's house when she heard Sharmishta shouting from the kitchen..

Sharmishta: Shona!! Shelf kai upar sai voh box utar dai!

Ragini went to bose house and saw the shelf, she was about to call Sharmishta when..

Sharmishta: shona jaldi kar na!

Ragini looked around and saw the stool, she placed it in front of the shelf and stood on it but her hand was barely reaching on the shelf, she tip toed and tried hard, her hand was touching a lot of things on the shelf , she grabbed a steel thing and thought it to be the box. Ragini's foot slipped and she fell down towards her front...

Ragini winced in pain holding her stomach: ahhhh

She looked ahead and it wasn't a box but a frame, she saw her arms which were bleeding, she crawled a bit ahead and her blood fell on the frame, she stood up with great difficulty with the frame and wiped the blood from it and was shocked to see a photo of sharmishta, her papa, swara and her. Sharmishta had sindoor and mangalsutra , swara was hugging shekhar and ragini was side hugging sharmishta.

Ragini closed her eyes and remembered..

'Ragini: hum ragini gadodia , sharmishta kaki ko apni maa swikar kartay hain ..... SWARA KO APNI BEHAN MANTAY HAIN'

'Ragini: hum apnay maa papa ki shadi karein gai

Swara: ab humaray maa baba ko milnay sai koi ni rok sakta'

Ragini opened her eyes and saw sharmishta coming out of the kitchen..

Sharmishta: aray rago tu yahan?

Ragini with teary eyes looked at sharmishta: Maa?

Sharmishta was stunned and ragini ran out and dashed into swara while the frame fell. Both swaRAGINI looked at each other and than at the frame.

Shekhar and dadi came out as well..

Shekhar and Sharmishta both ran to Ragini from the opposite sides..

Shekhar: Ragini kya hua?

Ragini looked at him and then at Shekhar: Aap dono.. shaadi shuda hai?..

Shekhar and Sharmishta looked at each other stunned.. Swara looked at Ragini shocked.. Dadi was not able to react..

Ragini, with teary eyes: Sharmishta kaki.. hamari Maa hai? Aur.. aur Swara hamari behan? - she looked down at the frame.. all looked at it..

Ragini: Par hame kuch yaad kyu nehi aa raha?! - she cried a lot..

She went to Swara and shook her crying: Swara tum hi bataao na.. hamare Papa ki Sharmishta Kaki se shaadi huwi thi?! Kab?!

Swara cupped her face and cried not able to speak..

Ragini went to Sharmishta and asked still crying a lot: Aap hamari Maa hai?.. Boliye na!

Tears were rolling on Sharmishta's cheek who was trying to say something but wasn't able to formulate a sentence: Rago voh.. voh.. hamari shaadi hui thi lekin tum.. tum..

Ragini shouted: Agar aap shaadi shuda ho to ham ek parivaar ki tarah sath mai kyu nehi rehte?!

Dadi went to hold her and tried to calm her down: Ragini beta.. tumara accident huwa tha na.. to tum kuch kuch bhool gai ho... lekin Laado tumhe jald hi sab yaad aa jayega.. sab thik ho jaaye ga Laado..

Ragini looked at her and closed her eyes tightly putting a hand on her head and pulling her hair trying hard to remember: Hame kuch yaad nehi aa raha Dadi Maa.. hame kuch yaad nehi aa raha.. - she was crying..

She suddenly felt weak and stumbled a bit getting uncoscious.. she was about to fall but Laksh came there running and held her in his arms while sitting down with Ragini in his lap..

Whole the Maheshari Family was come at Baadi to meet Ragini and heard everything..

Laksh shook Ragini: Ragini!! Ragini aankhein kholo!!

But Ragini wasn't giving any response..

Laksh shouted to Sanskar: Bhai ghaadi nikaalo!!!!

Sanskar nodded and immediately ran out of the baadi while Laksh picked Ragini in his arms and followed him looking at her worried..

AT THE HOSPITAL

Maheshwaris and Gadodias were standing in front of Ragini's ward waiting for the doctor to come out..

Laksh was walking right-left chewing his fist with teary eyes..

He passed both of his hands on his hair and tears fell on his cheeks..

Swara was sitting near Sharmishta with the head on her shoulder..

All were very tensed..

Just then the doctor came out of the ward.. Laksh and Swara rushed to him immediately followed by everyone..

Laksh: Doctor Ragini kaisi hai?

Doctor: Dekhiye patient ki condition bohat hi crucial hai.. is she suffers any stress she can slip into coma or even..

Swara: Kya doctor?

Doctor: She can even loose her life.

Laksh backed off stunned.. he felt his heart breaking down..

Annapurna sobbed while Sujata put a hand on her shoulder crying.. Parineeta supported them..

Sharmishta hugged Dadi crying..

Swara was shattered..

Laksh cried falling on his knees: hamesha meray sath hi aisa ku hota hai? Kyu pakay bhi tum ko nehi paa sakta? Ehsas hota hai magar sath hi ni hota. Kia bhagwan nai humari kismat mai aek dosray ka sath ni likha?

Sanskaar supported him: Lucky aisa mat bolo.. Ragini Laksh ki hi hai aur Laksh ki hi rahe ghi.. voh jald hi thik ho jaye ghi dekhna..

Laksh: nehi bhai. Jab kismat mai hi ni tha sath toh paas aai hi ku? Agar sath nibha ni sakti toh meray liye itna kia hi ku? Mai toot chuka hoon bhai mai haar gaya hoon.. mein nehi jee paon ga.

Shekhar came to him and made him stand..

Laksh, looking down: i know papa yeh meri saza hai ku kai maine apki ragini ko bohat sataya hai aek nahi kai baar uska dil tora hai toh mera bhi tootay ga na.

Laksh joined his hand: ragini ki zindagi sai zada aur kuch zarori nahi hai, wo sath ni rahi gi iss sach kai sath jee bhi lu ga lekin agar usay kuch hogya toh mai marjaon ga. Isliye aj say laksh apkay rastay mai ni aye ga. Ap jisay ragini ki zimedari daina chahtay hain dai saktay hain.

He cried and ran out of the hospital..

Shekhar : Laksh sehi keh raha hai.. Ragini bhalaai sirf ateet sai dur rehne mai hai.. - he stopped - isi haftay mai mein Ragini ki shadi kara du ga.. - he announced.

Swara hugged Sharmishta shutting her eyes..

Annapurna sobbed hugging Sujata while Parineeta shook her head covering her mouth.. Dp looked down..

On the other side..

Laksh was driving his car while his thoughts were possessed by ragini and his good times..

He cries and suddenly applied brakes as he saw a baby placed in between the road in a pink blanket.

Laksh came out and felt a tug at his heart as he saw the baby kept on crying. Laksh moved towards her and imagined ragini sitting on the road..

He went close and looked at the little babies face she had pink cheeks, she was like a doll of wool so damn pretty that for a moment laksh forgot his worries.

Her face resembled ragini, her eyes were same like her. She was kust few months but she had same innocent watery eyes of ragini.

Laksh picked the baby in his arms and stood up, as he held her the baby stopped crying at instance. The baby keenly looked at laksh.

Laksh: awww mera

He stopped.

'Tera masoom chehra yad aye ga

Har pal mujhay'

The baby little hand touched laksh's cheek and laksh smiled, she was a bundle of joy..

Laksh held her little hand and the baby held laksh's finger..

Ragini opened her eyes in the hospital and had a content smile on her lips.

Laksh kissed the baby's forehead

'Tu chala jaye ga toh kaun

Sath dai ga mera'

Her touch was as if ragini was touching him and he didn't knew why he felt so.

Laksh placed the baby closer to his heart, suddenly a driver came

Driver: sahab yeh bachi meri madam ki bhanji ki hai

He signalled towards the car, the driver took the baby from laksh's hands and the baby started to cry loudly again while the chain in baby's neck came out it was a ganesh ki chain

Laksh saw it and remembered ragini wearing it.

The driver took the baby and laksh felt uneasy as if someone of his own was going away.

Laksh felt his cheek wet with tears and broke down on his knees shouting : RAGINIIIIIIIIII!!
