Sanskar looked at the hand which had prevented the knife to stab Ragini.

He looked at the hand keenly, which was bleeding a lot. Sanskar raised his head and looked at the person's expressions. His hand was bleeding but still the person had not even once he was worried about his pain. All he could see was the rage in his eyes looking fiercely into the eyes of the goon.

In the mini seconds of Sanskar's thinking, Ragini called out Sanskar's name and was about to fall down, fainting.

This diverted Sanskar's attention from the person towards Ragini.

Sanskar- Raginniii....

He shouted and ran towards her to hold her in the nick of time preventing her to fall on the ground.

Sanskar held Ragini in his arms and started calling out her name. He sat down on the ground carefully holding Ragini in his arms. Ragini opened her eyes once, looked towards Sanksar......but then soon closed her eyes and fainted.

Ap, sujata and pari too ran towards Ragini and surrounded her callimg out her name. All were worried about Ragini.

All the while, Swara was just lost in her own thoughts. She was just looking at the person, who rescued Ragini and was looking at him confusingly as if trying to remember something. She then came back to the real world and ran towards Ragini.

The man who was holding the goon's hand to protect Ragini, just punched the goon straight upon his face. The goon fell down with the strong punch. The man again made him stand and punched him on his stomach.

Other goons started beating the man all together. He was trying his best to get out of their hold.

Sanskar raised his head and looked how all the goons had captured that man. He placed Ragini's head gently on Sujata's lap and stood up to help him.

He, with his blood shot eyes, held two of them from the back and throws them on the other side of the ground. He finally freed that man, and without wasting any time, grabbed the goon who was about to attack Ragini.

Sanskar- How dare u to even think of hurting my Ragini? How dare u to even think of touching her? How dare u to think of harming my wife? HOW DARE U?

Sanskar shouted at the top of his voice. The goon was scared to his wits. He joined his hands infront of Sanskar with his voice choking with every passing second.

The man and Sanskar joined together and beated those goons black and blue. People were watching all that happening.

Parineeta brought some water and splashed some drops on Ragini's eyes. Sujata and Ap were rubbing her hands. They had tears in their eyes seeing Ragini in that condition. Swara's eyes too were moist.

Pari dropped some more water on her. Ragini squeezed her eyes a little. Ap and sujata smiled through their tears and started calling out Ragini's name. Ragini opened her eyes and looked at them for a minute.

She looked here and there and held her head which was paining a lot. She got up from Sujata's lap and observed everything...... after which she realized what all happened some while ago. She widened her eyes and looked towards Sanskar who was fighting with the goons. She stood up and tried to walk towards him, but was not in a comdition to walk. Her legs were shaking. Swara and pari held her from her either elbow and supported her.

The lady who asked Ragini not to help the girl and leave her onto her own, was looking at Ragini with determined eyes.

She remebered Ragini's words " Have some shame aunty ji.... being a lady if u cannot think of helping a girl, how can we expect men to behave properly." "People like u are spoiling our country's image."

She turned her gaze from Ragini towards the goons who were still fighting with Sanskar and the other man. She looked at the other side of the road and found a large thick stick over there. She determinedly went towards that direction, picked up the stick and again went back towards the crowd.

Lady- Still if u people want to just be a spectator, then it is a shame on all of u. That girl fought for another girl and shown a path for us to fight for the right and to support the right..... and not just be the spectator of everything. We need to help them now..... or otherwise we will never be able to stand for a good cause.

The people were now too standing still. They looked at each other whether to help them or not. The lady gave all of them a disgusted look and remembered how even she herself was one of them some time ago.

She, without waiting for anyone, held the stick tightly in her hand and marched towards them. A goon was about to attack Sanskar from behind, but before he could do anything, he felt a strong paining sensation on his head. He held his head with a scream out of pain. He turned back only to find that lady standing there with the stick in her hand and looking at him with rage.

Before the goon could react, she again hitted him, this time on his legs and knees. The goon shouted in pain.

Ragini smiled a little satisfactorily. She was proud at the moment.

The lady was beating the goon with the stick. All the ladies presebt there watching all the scenario came forward seeing that lady fighting alone. They too joined her and started beating the goons.

This time, the other spectators finally were ashamed of themselves. They didn't take much time and  everyone joined together to beat the goons.

Sanskar and the other man shared a smile seeing the scenario. Now they were not alone. The goons would have been cursing themselves to be indulged into such things.

At that moment, police arrived (finally 😂) and was shocked to see the scenario. The inspector tried to get the situation under control. He finally stopped all the people from beating them, asking them to hand them over to the police.

All the goons ran towards the police and leaned to the inspector's feet, asking him to save them.

One goon- Sir.... sir please arrest us. (He joined his hands infront of him) Please take us from here.... these people will kill us sir.......

The inspector too smiled a bit and asked the constables to arrest them. The goons happily surrendered themselves to the police.

Soon the police went from there. People too left after the police.

(Sorry for explaining everything in short)

Only the Maheshwari ladies, Sanskar and the man was standing there. The man was standing at some distance from them.

Sanskar immediately ran towards Ragini and gets her into a bome crushing hug. He broke the hug and looked out everywhere whether Ragini was hurt or not, in a haste.

Sanskar- Ragu.... Ragu... u- u are fine na? Did u get hurt anywhere?

Sanksar spoke out still looking at Ragini with concerned filled eyes.

Ragini held Sanskar's hands and assured him with a soft voice, as she was finding it a little difficult to speak.
Ragini- I-I am fi-fine Sanskar..... (she cupped her face) I am tot-totally fine.

Saying so, her voice started fading and her eyes closing. She held Sanskar's arm, while Pari and Swara supported her from back.

Ap- Sanskar we should take Ragini home soon. Her health is not good.

Sanskar nodded his head a little and without wasting a minute, picked up Ragini in his arms in a bridal manner, and headed towards the car. All others followed them. In all this, they totally forgot about the man who helped them. He was watching everything from a distance and did not go near them.

Sanskar made Ragini lie in the back seat in a car and sat besides him, with her head lying on his lap. Ap, sujata, swara and pari sat in the another car and marched towards MM.

The man was still looking at the direction where RagSan's  car went, with an expressionless face. Just then swara realized that they missed the man. She looked back from the car and saw the man still standing there. She turned towards the front and again was lost in her own thoughts.

There Sanskar was patting Ragini's cheeks again again and again. Tears started forming in his eyes. He kissed on Ragini's forehead.

Sanskar- I am sorry Ragini..... i failed to take care of u. I-I am.....

He did not speak further but just kept on looking at Ragini's face which was pale. He was hurt to see her in that condition.

Ragini opened her eyes a bit.

Ragini- Sa....san... sanskar....

Sanskar in a haste- Yes... yes ragini.... open ur eyes (patting her cheeks gently) See I am here with u. I won't leave u alone for a single second now. Open ur eyes.

Ragini smiled a bit seeing that genuine care in Sanskar's eyes. She tried to get up, but Sanskar held her head back on his lap and nodded his head negatively asking her not to do so. Ragini looked straight into his eyes, and was lost in the eyes which were as deep as an ocean. They had an eyelock.

Sanskar wiped a tear formed at the end of Ragini's eye. He kissed on her forehead and caressed her hairs. Ragininwas feeling weak and again closed her eyes. Sanksar was finding it difficult to see his love like that.

As soon as they reached MM, Sanskar took Ragini out from the car and again picked her up in his arms, and entered the MM immediately. All the ladies too reached there and followed Sanskar.

Sanskar took Ragini to their bedroom and made her lie on the bed, carefully. He was getting flashes of how Ragini was about to be attacked. He could have lost Ragini, if she had not been saved at the right time. His eyes were all moist. He gently caressed Ragini's cheeks and hairs.

Ap and Sujata consoled Sanskar. But Sanskar's gaze did not get away from Ragini.
He tool Ragini's hand and kissed on it gently and held it near his chest.

Friends! I have writeen this chappy in a bit hurry. So.... sorry for the boring update. I had some time today, so thought to update it. But then could not take enough time to write a better one as I am quite busy these days. Sorry sorry 😊
