Ragini and swara were busy preparing their dishes for the ritual. Swara looked towards ragini. She saw her making a sweet dish. Just then she remembered that she too needs to prepare a sweet dish. She immediately starting preparing the dish. The time, she was about to add sugar to it, she could not distinguish between salt and sugar. Moreover, she was in a hurry to complete it fast, that she didn't even bother once to check whether it was really sugar or not. It is rightly said that the things which looks similar might not be the same, and the one who does not understand this might leads its actions to a wrong direction. And here, the same thing was happening with swara. She so really wanted to do it fast, that she did not even realize what she was going to do (not only the realization of adding salt instead of sugar, but also the realization of what thoughts were overpowering her goodness) She was not able to realize how slowly and steadily, her thoughts were compelling her to lead a different way now.

SwaRagini took a sigh of relief when they had done their work finally.

Just then parineeta and uttara comes there.
Pari- Hmmmm.... seems like my boh the devranis are very talented.

Uttara- Ya... even the food is smelling so nice. Come on bhabhis..... (with a childish tone) let's take the food outside. I can't resist to eat such delicious food.

SwaRagini and parineeta smiled at her antics.
Parineeta- Ok let's go. Otherwise our uttara will get more and more mad with hunger.

Uttara pouted with anger while the rest three started laughing.

They took the food to the dining table. Swara was in such a hurry to give the food made by her before ragini could serve, that she didn't even notice that ragini was not behind her. She quickly served the food made by her.

Ap- Swara.....where is ragini?

Swara looked back and realized that she was not there. She looked clueless towards the kitchen side.
Swara- I don't know maa..... she was behind me only. I don't know where she is....

Ap sujata and swara were looking forward for ragini, when dp signed them somewhere.

Dp- See...... she is there.

Everyone turned towards the direction dp signed. They found ragini standing with the bowl infront of Radha Krishna's idol with the bowl of kheer. A smile crept on the faces of all the members while swara was still clueless about what ragini was doing. Ragini turned and saw everyone's gaze at her. She went towards the dining table with a confused face.

Swara- What were u doing ragini? We all were looking for u....

Sujata- Arey swara.... don't u know what she was doing? She was first offering it to God. It is considered good to take blessings from God before doing any ritual.

Swara was shocked as to how much she has to learn more to be a perfect bahu. She felt a little bad too as now also ragini did something which had pleased the maheshwaris more. She was not able to accept that she was insecure about her position.

Ap stood up and went towards ragini. He kept his hand on her head and blessed her.
Ap- I knew our ragini can never forget her sacrements. God bless u beta....

Ragini smiled a bit. Sanskar too smiles seeing her getting so much care and affection by his family members.
Swara was standing with her head down.

Ap looks at swara and went towards her.
Swara- God bless u too beta. We know that u don't know much about these things. It's perfectly alright. And moreover, ragini will teach u everything.

Swara smiled fakely. Ragini came towards swara and held her hand.

Everyone seated to taste the food their new daughter-in-laws have prepared.

Sujata (smiling)- So our swara has made something for the first time... right? Then we must definitely taste it first.

Swara smiled widely and nodded positively.
All took one spoon of the sweet dish she made. Swara was eager to know the complements. It was really an excited moment for her, as she had done something new which naturally makes a person eager to hear the complements. She was looking at everyone's reaction when they tasted it. Her excited expressions turned into a confused one. She saw all the members just weirdly looking towards each other.

She looked towards laksh to know the reason for that. But laksh just smiled sheepishly at her. Before anyone could say further, sujata being an overreacting person, spit it out immediately which made ragini and swara more shocked.

Ragini could not also understand their expressions. She genuinely wanted her sister's efforts to be praised by them. She knew that it would have been very difficult for swara to indulge into a new environment with all new responsibilites. She was happy that her sister was managing everything wholeheartedly. But now she was watching a differnt scenario.

Sujata- What is this swara? How can someone eat this?

She immediately drank water while all others did not want her to be hurt. They somehow managed to eat one spoon of it. But it was difficult to eat the whole dish with so much of salt in it.

Swara- Wh-what happened chachi ji? Didn't u like it?

Sujata- Like? This is something u can't even taste swara..... Did u make this for ur first rasoi?

Tears started forming in swara's eyes. Everyone felt bad at this. Sujata too realuzed that she just reacted too much.

Sujata- uh umm swara.... i didn't mean that. I just meant that u have added salt instead of sugar and it is not eatable now.....

This came as a big shock for her now. She remembered how she was in a hurry to complete her work so that she could compete with ragini, and didn't saw whether it was salt or sugar.

Ragini squeezed swara's hand in order to console her.

Ap- Ya swara.... it's ok. It was ur first time. And the important thing for us is that u atleast tried and that is enough for us......

Laksh- Yes swara.... don't feel bad. U are still learing... so it is perfectly alright.

Ragini- And swara..... u tried this all alone, single-handedly. I know u are very responsible swara and u really wants to manage all ur duties properly. That is why u didn't even make any excuse for not doing this ritual. And u actually won swara.......

Swara smiled faintly though she did feel very bad.

With this, all the maheshwaris tasted the dished preapred by ragini. This time ragini was looking at then with expecting eyes. Swara too raised her head to see their reaction on ragini's food.

Dp- Wow ragini....... there is magic in ur hands. It is so good.

Sujata- Yes ragini. It is amazing. (Unknowingly) And the taste too got better which swara's food has spoiled.

Ap glared sujata. She again realized what she just said. This was now insulting for swara. Swara excused herself and went towards the kitchen. Ragini and laksh felt bad for swara.

Ap- What is this sujata? Why u reacted like this?

Sujata- I am sorry jiji.... i didn't say it intentionally.

Ragini served them and went after swara.

There swara was in deep thinkings and her tears were moist.
Swara (in mind)- Again... again i did something wrong. Again is displeased all of them. How will i manage a these things? I am good for nothing. (She remembered how everyone praised ragini) What is happening to me? Today i am feeling that dida was right. I don't know what's happening to me. But i didn't like all this.

Just then ragini enetered the kitcen.
Ragini- Swara... let it be na...... don't feel sad.

Swara- Ya.... u will say so because u were praised there. It was me who was insulted.

Ragini was shocked.
Ragini- Sw-swara..... it is nothing like that....... i just meant that mom didn't say anything intentionally. U know her nature na. She just overreacts quickly but she does not have anything like that in her heart. And it was alright swara...... don't think like that....

Swara- Plss ragini. I am not in a mood to talk. Just leave me alone.

Ragini- But swara..... why are u behaving like that? U are not behaving like my old swara today....

Swara- Haa...now u will feel like that only. The way u were getting all the attention, why would u feel anybody's sadness. How does it matters to u by the way?

Ragini stood there gasping. She never knew that swara wiuld blurt out abything like that even in anger.

Ragini- Swara u are my sister.... remember we are not swara and ragini..... we are SwaRagini. Our souls are connected swara. How can u even think like that? How can u think like ur ragini would not sense ur sadness. How can u think that u does not matters to me?

Swara took a deep breadth. She knew that ragini was not at fault, but the battle inside her heart and mind was not letting anything go perfectlty.

Swara- I am sorry ragini. I was just not in a mood to talk. I am really sorry ragini......

Before swara could say further, ragini pulled her into a hug. Swara too reciprocated to it, though half heartedly. She decided to talk about it to dida once she goes back to baadi for the pag phera rasam.
