The scene starts with three people sitting in a huge hall. Two men and a woman.

Man 1 : but why do you want to sell this academy? You can just renovate it or something??
The woman looks at the second man and then speaks, sighing.
Woman : I just don't want to continue it....
Man 1 : okay Ms. Ragini then I'll take your leave and will let you know if anyone is interested.
The man goes.

Ragini : Laksh please listen.... where are you going now??
Laksh ( shouts ) : Ragini please stop it now... just ..stop following me like a love sick puppy....
Ragini leaves his hand and stumbles and tears form in her eyes as she sees him going, yet again leaving her with just sadness and tears.
She cracked to the cold floor, her fingers grew numb and tears formed in her eyes thinking about Laksh and her relationship of 10 years. They had met in college and then during the course of their dancing classes they fell in love with each other. But from past sometime Laksh was just running from her which was killing her from inside. She was confused and sad. She didn't knew what went wrong that Laksh changed suddenly. But something kept her alive and that was her first love, DANCE! But now Laksh wants to sell that also. He wants to sell their dace academy just for money. And she doesn't have any choice or chance to save neither her relationship nor her academy.

Her thoughts are disturbed by the ringtone of her phone. She wipes her tears and looks for her phone. She saw the caller id, Surbhi, her student .

Ragini : hello Surbhi... how are you ?
Surbhi : I'm fine ma'am.. how are you?
Ragini : I'm also fine..
Surbhi : ma'am, actually my friend, Sanskaar wanted to learn tango from you.. so should i...
Ragini : wait a second Surbhi... I'm sorry but I cant teach your friend as I don't take dance classes now...
Surbhi : but ma'am...
Ragini : no means no Surbhi....
Surbhi : umm okay ma'am.... but you he to come to my place for navratri pooja... and you won't deny it ... please .. please ma'am........
Ragini : okay Surbhi I'll come....
Surbhi : thank you ma'am... see you soon...
Ragini : yeah.. bye...

*NAVRATRI POOJA*

Ragini comes there in a beautiful white saree looking gorgeous with open hair. She greets Surbhi and is talking with her when suddenly a boy comes in front of her. She moves back a little.
Surbhi : ma'am he's.....
Boy : I'm Sanskaar ..... n I want to learn dance from you...please.... < he joins his hands in front of her making a very cute face>
Ragini : listen Sanskaar.. I he already told Surbhi that...
Surbhi ( coming in between them ) : yes Sanskaar she has....
Sanskaar ( pushes her away keeping his finger on her nose ) : you stay away from this chipkali....
Surbhi's lips form an " O " listening to her best friend. Ragini leaves from there. Sanskaar goes behind her.
Sanskaar : ma'am please.. please teach me..
Ragini : I don't dance any more so please .. excuse me....
Sanskaar ( in bossy tone ) : you will have to teach me.... ( Ragini looks at him with her one brow up ... and instantly his stern face changed into a cute baby face with a pout )
Ragini smiles seeing his expressions but leaves from there nodding her head. Sanskaar stamps his foot. Surbhi comes from behind and pats his shoulder.
Surbhi ( crossing her arms, sarcastically ) : she might be the first girl on this earth who had the guts to say " NO " to THE SANSKAAR MAHESHWARI, isn't ??
Sanskaar glares at her while she goes from there laughing.
Sanskaar : Surbhi ki bachi... now no matter what I'll learn dance from your Ragini ma'am only....
He looks on determined.

Ragini was putting food in her plate when Sanskaar came in front of her sudden and started serving her.
Ragini : Sanskaar please behave yourself...
Sanskaar : please.. please say yes.. I promise to be your best student... I'll be even better than that chipkali... I mean Surbhi....
Ragini : I cant Sanskaar please...
Before he could continue further, Sanskaar lied down on the floor and joined his hand in front of her. Everyone looked at them, surprised. Ragini looks around and feels uncomfortable. Surbhi too comes there.
Sanskaar : ma'am please... please,, say yes...
Ragini : okay okay fine... I'll teach you ...
Sanskaar stands up immediately and looks at her excitedly. '
Sanskaar : sachiii??
Ragini nods her head in affirmation.
Sanskaar : where ?
Ragini : tomorrow at my academy at 9am.
Sanskaar : done....

Sanksaar jumps in excitement while Ragini nods her head in disbelief seeing a 18 year old kid.

Sanskaar ( hitting Surbhi on her shoulder ) : what say chipkali?? I did it na?? Now I'll be the dancing champion of our college. Of our city and of our country...
He looks on dreamily. Surbhi hits him on his head goes from there. Sanskaar looks at Ragini and smiles seeing her eating but don't know why but he felt that smile fake.
Sanskaar : take a break bro. You he met her for the first time.. let it be and stop over thinking.......

Next morning, at the academy.

Ragini calls Laksh while wearing her dancing shoes. She was quite happy.
Ragini : hello Laksh...
Laksh : say it fast Ragini... I don't have time..
Ragini ( hurt ) : Laksh... y r u talking like this?/ I just wanted to tell you that after so many days today I again wore my dancing shoes...
Laksh : so??
Ragini : so what Laksh? Why are you behaving like this?
Laksh : agini I'm in a meeting I'll call you later.
And he disconnects the call leaving Ragini again with moist eyes. She wipes her tears as she sees Sanskaar and Surbhi coming there with one more boy and girl. Ragini comes to them.
Surbhi : hello ma'am.... he's Divyansh and she's Anisha .. our friends..
Ragini smiles. Sanskaar comes forward with attitude.
Sanskaar : ma'am here comes your future best student.. the dancing champion...
Ragini : don't you think you are so overconfident...
Sanskaar : no.. not at all... I'm sure a hip hop dancer will learn tango like this... ( he clicks his fingers )
Ragini looks at him astonished.
Surbhi ( to Divyansh and Ani ) : he's flying too high... ( she sees Ragini coming in the centre of the hall ) now you'll see the show...
She chuckles while Divyansh and Anisha looks on excited.

Ragini brings Sanskaar in the middle and does some tango steps with him leaving him bewildered while te rest of the trio smiles looking at them. Ragini ends the dance with the fairytale pose. The trio claps while Sanskaar is still lost in Ragini's eyes. Ragini shakes him and he makes her stand properly.

Divyansh : that was just superb..
Anisha : yes. It was a bliss to watch you dance ma'am..
Ragini smiles and thanks them. she then turns towards Sanskaar.
Sanskaar : I must say this is not an easy task... but don't worry I'll give my 100%...
Ragini smiles.
Ragini : okay then come for the practice from tomorrow.. for now u can leave.......
They all went from there while Ragini pulls away the white sheet from a chest of drawers revealing all her trophies, medals and her dancing portraits. She smiles looking at them and reads the quote on the calendar
" Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing he impossible. "
She thinks about Laksh and then Sanskaar.

Ragini : may be my life can get back on track. I'll talk to Laksh and tell him that selling this academy will not get us anything but will surely leave us with nothing... and I'm sure he'll understand... of course he'll understand as dance is his first love also......
She was just trying to console herself that everything will be fie but deep down she new everything was falling apart.

Two months passed, on one side where Ragini was teaching Sanskaar and was fighting the demons of her personal life, Sanskaar was getting attracted to Ragini.
One fine day, Ragini and Sanskaar were practicing and were really close to each other when suddenly Ragini felt her head spinning. She was about to fall but Sanskaar held her protectively in his i
Sanskaar : Ragini.. are you fine?
Ragini somehow stands up and goes towards the table and takes some medicines. Sanskaar worriedly ask her about the medicines.

Ragini : they are for bp... I he bp problems..
Sanskaar : bp or anti-depressant ???
Ragini ( avoiding eye contact ) - look just concentrate on your dance... the competition is coming soon..
Sanskaar : yes, I have registered in the couple dance...
Ragini : but you were going for solo... isn't ?
Sanskaar : yes but now its a couple dance,.... and you will participate with me...
Ragini : no I cant ..
She turns to go but Sanskaar holds her hand and pulls her towards him... Ragini looks at him shocked.. they stood close to each other when the door of the academy opened and Laksh entered the hall. Ragini looks at him and moves away from Sanskaar. Sanskaar looks on. Laksh comes near her.
Laksh : so this all is going on in my absence?? You've again started the classes??
Sanskaar : actually...
Laksh ( showing him his index finger ) : you stay out of it mister...
He starts shouting at Ragini while Sanskaar goes from there as Ragini signs him to go. Sanskaar feels bad for Ragini.

Surbhi ( shouts ) : what the hell Sanskaar ??
Divyansh : bro r u mad ??
Sanskaar ( turning towards them ) : yes I am... and I love Ragini ma'am..
Surbhi : Sanskaar she's your teacher and in a relationship...
Divyansh : and moreover dude she's elder than you...
Sanskaar : I don't care... I'm not expecting love from her.. n this is not attraction or infatuation .. I truly love her...
And he goes from there.
Divyansh : he is gone...
Surbhi looks on worried.

Its night, Ragini closes the gate of academy and moves towards her car when Sanskaar comes from nowhere in front of her scaring her.
Ragini : Sanskaar just stop scaring me every time...
Sanskaar ( rubbing her hair cutely ) : ummm sorry Ragini...
Ragini : well.. why are you still here ??
Sanskaar smiles and brings a chocolate pastry in front with a candle on it. He starts singing happy birthday song for her while she looks on surprised.
Ragini : Sanskaar ... how do you know its my birthday today??
Sanskaar : Ragini... doughnut worry just be happy... life is too short so have this sweet cake ....
Saying so he makes her eat the pastry and then puts some on her nose.. Ragini glares at him but then smiles and puts cream on his cheeks as well.... both laugh looking at each other. Sanskaar stops and comes near her while she steps back. He tucks her hair strand behind her ear.
Ragini : sans..Sanskaar.......
Sanskaar : I love you ... I love you Ragini...
Ragini : what ??
She looks at him with disgust and goes from there. Sanskaar bows down his head and looks at her as she leaves in her car.

Sanskaar comes to Ragini's house after he found the academy closed. He rigs the bell.
Ragini : Sanskaar what are you doing here ??
Sanskaar : Ragini please listen to me once... I love you and
Ragini ( interrupting him ) : and I'm in a relationship and moreover im 28 years old.... damn it... 10 years older than you.. cant u understand??
She shouts.
Sanskaar : you are in that relationship which has no future and you also know this... and age really doesn't matter...
Ragini : Sanskaar go away from here...
She shuts the door leaving Sanskaar at the door.

After sometime again the door bell rings. Ragini opens the door.
Ragini : Surbhi... please please ask your friend to stop being stupid..
Surbhi : ma'am he really loves you.. and he ...
Ragini ( worried ) : he what??
Surbhi : he's going to sacrifice his dream for you.. today is the dance competition and he has gone to withdraw his name ...
Ragini : what ????

******************************

At some auditorium ...
Sanskaar : hello sir.. I'm Sanskaar maheshwari and I want to withdraw my name from the competition...
Registrar : are you sure about it ??
Sanskaar : yes.
Registrar : okay u need to sign on these paper then...
Sanskaar nods and is about to sign when someone holds his hand. He looks up and sees Ragini there.
Sanskaar : Ragini...
Ragini : yes me. Come our turn is about to come.
She holds his hand and takes him. Their turn comes and they dance beautifully.
Judges : its such and odd pair.. the girl looks older than the boy... but still they look perfect together....
They end the dance with the fairytale pose.. everyone claps for them but Ragini faints in Sanskaar's arms. He panics and calls for the doctor.

*************************

Doctor : she's fine now... try to keep her happy.. over dosage of anti-depressant pills have caused nervous break down...
He goes from there leaving Sanskaar shocked and sad. He goes inside and waits for Ragini to gain consciousness. After few hours she gains consciousness and finds Sanskaar sitting beside her, holding her hand. Sanskaar smiles seeing her awake.

Sanskaar : how are you now?/
Ragini nods her head and smiles. Surbhi, Anisha and Divyansh comes there. Surbhi hands over an envelope to Ragini.
Sanskaar : what's this?
Ragini : Sanskaar.. please give this Laksh....
Sanskaar nods and goes out with the envelope and sees Laksh coming there. He hands over the envelope to him and goes from there. Laksh opens it sees letter insid. He opens it and reads it.

" NEVER TAKE THE PERSON FOR GRANTED WHO LOVES YOU TRULY. THANK YOU LAKSH, FOR MAKING ME REALISE MY TRUE WORTH. I WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY LIFE.
GOODBYE

Sanskaar comes back and stands in front of Ragini. She sees his empty hand and smiles.

Ragini : I love you too Sanskaar...
Sanskaar, Divyansh , Anisha and Surbhi smiles. Sanskaar hugs her and kisses her forehead while Surbhi, Anisha and Divyansh looks on happily.
Laksh sighs and stands outside the door and witness the same scene from the glass window and goes from there, feeling guilty.

Sanskaar : Ragini now you'll always be happy, dancing and eating...
He acts like eating so many things and blows his mouth. Ragini laughs. All smiles seeing her laugh whole heartedly. Sanskaar and Ragini hug each other and the screen freezes on them.

Sanskaar completed his studies till then Ragini waited for him and later they got married and lived happily ever after. Dance is a poem of which each movement is a word!
