It was the next day and all over the magazines were over "Hayden Chase and her masked Prince Charming" I was in my Dad's office trying to get him to listen to the CD from last night

"Dad, if you could just please" I begged him but he cot me off

"I don't have time Fay Train is thinking about signing with another label I have to meet with him" Dad told me as I tried to protest

"But this is the Rags guy from the party last night" I tried to tell him

"Hades, i am the guy that's always looking
for the next best thing But clearly Rags isn't ready for the big time or else he wouldn't ran out like he did Besides, i'm more concern about you Irma tells me you've been missing meetings" Dad told me as I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms

"Irma needs to mind her own business You're changing the subject Rags is amazing, and if you give him a chance you can see he has a lot to offer" I told him trying to give him the CD

"Hayden , i don't want to talk about Rags anymore We're about to launch the biggest record of your carrer, and you're getting distracted" Dad told me as I looked at him

"And you're not listening" I yelled at him pouting

"It's my job to make sure my daughter's head
is on straight" he told me fixing my head to make it straight

"Your job as my dad or chairman of Majesty Records?" I asked him as he looked at me

"We'll talk about this when i get back" he told me as he left and I walked to a restaurant and saw Charlie waiting tables

"Hey you!" I told him walking in as I heard a guy singing

"Hey, Hades What are you doing here?" He asked me as I walked to him

"Where were you last night?" I asked him

"Caught a cold, stayed home, watched a movie" he told me as he faked a cough as I looked at him in disbelief

"Really? What did you watch?" I asked him crossing my arms smirking

"Can't remember the name Reese Whiterspoon was in it though Cried my eyes out" he told me as I nodded slowly

"Right" I told him as he finally caved

"You're right when you said you weren't a good liar" I told him as he laughed

"Helps to practice, though" he told me as I laughed

"Anyway, you totally missed out I wore what I wanted to instead of what my dad wanted me to" I told him

"I know, i wanted to hear you sing and see what you were wearing" he told me as I laughed

No, not me! This Rags guy perform,
he killed it! He even wrote a song for me it was beautiful" I told him as he perked up

"This guy Rags killed it?" He asked me as I nodded

"The dude can sing And he's not too bad at the kissing stuff either" I told him as he looked surprised

"He kissed you?" He asked me as I giggled

"Just laid one on me, no time to react. Really There was nothing i could do" I told him laughing

"So why did you come here today?" He told me as I sat down pulling out the CD from last night

"I was hoping you'd be able to help me. Rags left a CD No contact info, no nothing But what he did have was a track of the song he performed last night And this The song is great That song someday is gonna lead me straight to Rags" I told him as he sat down with me

"Wait, you want to find Rags? Why?" He asked me looking at me

"Charlie, you should have seen him, he sang about something that was more than I love you, I hate you It was really inspiring" I told him putting my headphones in listening to the music from last night smiling

"He's amazing, Charlie seriously, you gotta help me find this guy Sometimes it feels like the whole world wants a piece of Hayden Chase
But not you, Charlie Please help me find Rags" I asked him taking the headphones out my ears

"And how do you plan on finding him?" He asked me smiling

"That song, you and i are the only two that have heard it We'll hold an audition Whoever sings Someday Is the real Rags So are you in, or out?" I asked him as he looked at me and I stood up

"In" he told me as I jumped up and hugged him smiling and we were about to walk out when I noticed the guy singing

"Good job Can i recommend in D minor?" I told the guy as he stopped singing and looking at me

"Oh My God! You're her! Would you Would you sign this for me?" He asked asked me taking off his shirt and Charlie and I looked disgusted

"Please?" He begged me as I cautiously grabbed the shirt and signed it

  It was the next day as we walked to a cafe to meet the girls as we were sitting down I was on my computer as Charlie was over me I was actually dressed down today my dad would freak if he found out I was dressed like this in public he always told me I have to dressy when I leave the house but I'm filling like I can stand up to my dad more starting with my clothes

"We're up on Perez" Kadee told me as I smiled

"That's great" I smiled at them

"Guess what? We're on MTV homepage too" Tammy told us holding out her phone

"Guilty Group is having a sample sale" Sammi told us as we rolled our eyes as I played the video on my computer

"Majesty Records will sign the first person who proved they're Rags We're scouring the internet, we're holding auditions. I know he's out there somewhere, and i won't stop until i find him. Are you Rags?" I said in the video as we all cheered that's when Tammy's phone rang

"Hello? Great, she's on her way Thank you The venue is available" Tammy told us as we smiled and Charlie and I did some handshake we made up walked out the cafe

"Yes! Let's go check it" Charlie told me as we both went look at the venue afterwards we went to the park and he ran up to me and gave me a burger

"Who are you texting now?" He asked me taking a bite from his hamburger

"I'm not texting I'm tweeting about the Rags audition I just hit 7 million followers" I told him as he looked at me shocked

"Seriously? 7 million followers?" He asked me as I laughed

"Yeah, how many do you have?" I asked him eating my burger

My gosh, tons So many tweeters Also follow my My tweeting" he told me as I laughed at him

"Tweeting? You're hilarious" I told him nudging him

"You're lucky i like you" I told him as he helped me up I was. Later at my dads office with Kadee and Finn as our dad's cane in

"There is a mob scene in the lobby" my dad told me and noticed what I was wearing

"Since you were too busy to listen to the CD, i'm holding auditions to find Rags" I told my dad standing up

"Yes, Irma has made me aware Hayden, this is a complete fiasco You are putting your music in jeopardy" Irma told me as I was tired of everything

"And your relationship with Finn.. He's a mess! Look at him!" Irma yelled at Kadee as she looked in disbelief and we saw he was on his phone

"Relationship?" She asked her

"This guy Rags is kicking me off all the magazine covers. But more importantly, i miss you. I miss us. We don't talk anymore" Finn told Kadee

"Because we never talked This is a business arrangement" Kadee told him

"And none of you ever listened to what I want" I finally stood up to my dad

"Because you're too busy running around
with that kid" Irma told me as I looked at him

"Who, Charlie?" Kadee asked for me

"See? It's cute you're trying to make me jealous She's trying to get my attention I've got it, you're here. I'm here, hello" Finn told her as I rolled my eyes

"Hayden, is this true?" My dad asked me as I gave a fake smile

"You're totally right, what was i thinking? Why would Hayden Chase, the biggest star in the world, hang out with someone who scrubs the floor i walk on?" I asked my dad sarcastically

"It's not like that. We just want you to focus
on your music" my dad told me as I was livid

"Yes, your music" Finn told me

with the Hollywood VIP" Finn told Kadee standing up walking over to her

"Why can't you be more grateful?" My dad asked me

"People are always telling me how grateful i should be But how can i be grateful when i'm successful at something that my heart just not in. I want to eat what, I want I want to sing what I want, I want to wear what I want, I wanna be my own person Charlie is cooler than everyone in this building combined. And he's gonna help me find Rags We're gonna proof you guys wrong" I finally stood up to my dad and it felt good

"And Finn, here's an exclusive We're done" Kadee told him as she walked out

"And I'm gonna go eat a hamburger with fries and dip my fries in my milkshake because I can" I yelled to everyone in the building as I walked out the doors
