Chapter 19: Reunited

A/N: Things are going to get more interesting, just a heads up.

(Normal pov— Fang Nation)

At long last, the imperial city of Fang Nation was in sight, Drago was pleased to see that the entirety of his armada was intact and that it had maintained a defensive position around the imperial city. There, the remainder of his forces awaited, and he would need them as well as the entirety of Fang Nation's army if he was to start and recoup the losses he suffered. Drago still couldn't believe that he had lost so much because of Stoick the Vast's whelp, that boy had done what far more imposing and intimidating foes had failed to do; Hiccup Haddock had fractured his junta and had cut his numbers in half, both in manpower and dragons.

Drago was also enraged that his Hand had allowed the Viking who had grieved him to slip from grasp. For failing to apprehend Hiccup Haddock, Drago had to kill the now late Zaina, head of his Hand, and make an example to her fellow Mongrel brothers and sisters that failure will result in a cruel and grotesque death. Taking the now late Zaina's place as head of the Hand of Drago, was Nyack, Strong Heart. He's from a tribe of Ngbaka in the heart of Sudan and he's most deadly with a throwing knife, none standing as his equal. Nyack bore light skin, yet his entire body bore scars that represented a kill of significance and import, save for his neck and face. He bore short dreadlocks yet the rest of his head was cut in a fade style. He wore gorilla fur around his toned torso which was otherwise exposed, he bore the same fur laced forearm braces, he wore black leather pants, and gorilla fur laced boots. Of course, Nyack bore the Ngbaka throwing knife of his tribe, yet he also bore two Kota knives and many more blades kept on his person.

With a warrior he was confident in to lead the Hand of Drago, the war master of Northern Alliance was still waiting for Askari of Ashes and his Dragon Flyers to bring back the matter needed to bend the Druun to his will. He knew since the only dragons left in his army were his armored dragons, which numbered in the thousands but were nowhere near enough to conquer the world. With a shortage of dragons in his army, Drago knew that subjugating the Druun would be critical, having an unstoppable force under his command would be a suitable replacement until he either took back the Bewilderbeast egg that Hiccup had taken or he'd find another way to control the dragons of this world.

For now, Drago had to focus on bringing his junta and Fang Nation together, without needless bloodshed.

As the remainder of his forces reached the edge of the jungle and were now facing the imperial city, Drago was pleased to find that the remainder of his forces here had built a makeshift bridge that allowed the forces accompanying him to cross. Many of Drago's men which were already in Fang Nation's imperial city noted the dark and enraged look on their leader's face, as well as the loss of the entirety of the Blue Lotus, the dragons they took from Scandinavia, and their mightiest war machines as well as The Devourer. Even the citizens of Fang Nation noted this, the farmers who were gathering crops outside the imperial city walls could feel the anger and frustration curled up inside of Drago just by looking at him.

Turning to both Chagatai and Griselda, the war master gave them simple, yet stern orders. "Have your men bathe to wash away the stench of our latest misfortunes, see to it that they're also fed and have gathered sleep," the two warlords bowed their heads in understanding before marshaling their respective armies and relaying Drago's orders throughout their ranks. The war master then turned to his men that were already stationed in the imperial city. "Feed your brothers and sisters in arms; withdraw whatever we have in the armada's food stores." Bowing their heads, the warriors quickly made their way to the armada to gather the food they had onboard their ships. Drago then turned to his Hand and had them accompany him until they reached the gates of the imperial city, the sentries on the wall demanded to know what business Drago had here, in response to their ignorance, Drago snarled out. "I am the leader of the Northern Alliance, and unless you wish to suffer a gruesome death, you will open these gates!" The centuries quickly had the warriors manning the gates to open them, allowing Drago and his elite killers inside the imperial city.

Upon entering the city, Drago and his killers were stopped by a middle-aged council member, wearing elegant white and gilded robes, they then bowed their heads in greetings. "Drago Bludvist, it is an honor to have you back—"

"You may dispense with the pleasantries, Councilor Aldo," the war master waved his words aside like a fly that was pestering him. "I'm here to break words with Chief Virana, not waste my breath speaking to you."

Councilor Aldo quickly caught up to Drago and spoke up. "Yes, sadly, Chief Virana is engaged in disputes regarding trade with our trading partners from the Silk Road. She cannot be disturbed at this time—"

Turning to look the councilor in the eyes, Aldo held his breath as Drago gave him a murderous glare. "If you value your life, you will not tell me what I can or cannot do, underling," the war master then bore his teeth. "Now, be the servant that you are, and take me to Chief Virana."

Swallowing thickly, Aldo nodded. "Very well," he then gestured to the palace. "Please, follow me." Drago rolled his eyes and pushed Aldo aside, while the Hand simply followed their master up the stairs leading to the palace. Aldo quickly regained himself and sprinted after Drago and his Hand, speaking up and gaining the attention of Virana, who was in the middle of trade disputes. "Chief Virana, I sincerely apologize for this intrusion, but—"

Again, Drago pushed Aldo aside and spoke up. "Virana," he then gave Fang Nation's ruler a malicious smile. "I would have words. And I would have them now." The war master then added. "I would advise you summon your councilors, commanders of your army, and leaders of your people. We have much to discuss."

Narrowing her eyes at the war master, Virana turned to her trade partners and dismissed them for the time being. She then turned to her personal guards and summoned the remainder of her councilors, General Atitāya along with the rest of the army's commanders, and those who spoke for the common people. Some time had passed, but once everyone Drago wished to speak to had been assembled, Virana gave her husband's killer her full, undivided attention. "You wished to speak to those of high position and standing amongst our people, Drago. Here we all are," she then leaned back against her throne and raised an eyebrow in question. "What is it you want this time?"

Grunting, Drago licked his chapped lips and answered his "host" while flicking a piece of dirt out of his fingernail. "I find myself in need of... reinforcements. My junta has sustained heavy losses since marching from Tail Nation. I've come here to merge Fang Nation with my junta," knowing Virana would refuse such a union, Drago continued while brandishing his new arm which the Druun had given him. "Refuse to become one with my Northern Alliance, and I will unleash the Druun upon your people who aren't fortunate enough to be living in the imperial city."

Everyone gasped and murmured amongst themselves upon hearing Drago's threat, many even boldly calling the war master's bluff.

"No man can control the Druun!"

"You dare threaten our people with blasphemy?"

"You are indeed mad! You cannot control a power as ancient and evil as the Druun!"

Closing his eyes, Drago summoned the entity that commands the Druun, and within minutes, shadow crept into the throne room as did the horrifying whispers of an ancient being. A pit of hatred turned its violet eyes towards the people of Fang Nation before taking a tall, lean form and unleashing a ghastly roar that terrified Fang Nation's rulers. Drago raised his left arm, which was pulsing with violet energy and his blood veins turned black as night, his eyes too turned violet with smoke coming out of them, and finally, his voice was merged with the entity's voice.

"Fools! Do you believe your pathetic canal can hold the Druun at bay? It won't. We have turned our gaze to the people of Fang Nation, which will soon be no more," the entity continued to speak through Drago, chuckling darkly. "Your days will soon be over, and Sisudatu, the Last Dragon will not save you or this world a second time! She will die, and when Sisudatu falls, so will Kumandra." The entity soon left Drago, causing the war master to fall to a knee and pant heavily.

Looking up at Virana and her people, though, Drago could see the raw terror on their faces, it caused him to laugh darkly as he stood back on two feet. "The entity that commands the Druun has given me this arm," he boomed out while flexing his false arm. "Because of this gift, the entity will grant me command of the Druun, should I wish. And unless you wish for your people to suffer a fate worse than death, you will do exactly as I say."

Looking to her people, Virana stood as a mother to not only Namaari but all of Fang Nation. She was the mother of her people, and as their mother, she needed to protect them to the best of her ability. With a shaky exhale, Virana inquired.

"What would you have of us, Drago?"

Some time would pass, and the sentries manning the imperial city walls would see a large force of their own approaching, with Princess Namaari at the head. The sentries soon looked down at the men manning the gates below and would bark out.

"Open the gates!"

Soon enough, the gates that allowed access to the imperial city of Fang Nation opened. The journey back home was agonizing for Namaari, not only had Raya rejected her and her pleas for forgiveness, but she had stood face to face with Sisudatu, an honor that Namaari knew that she was unworthy of. Venancio turned and gave the melancholy princess a worried purr. Namaari in turn caressed her faithful Serolt's neck and cooed reassuringly that she was fine.

But she was not fine.

Tears swelled in Namaari's eyes as she and her companions led the detachment of Fang Nation's army back into the imperial city. Noonday sun hung high in the sky, and although it was good to be back home, something... unpleasant hung in the air. Sliding off of Venancio, the distraught princess looked towards the palace and noted several of Drago's men approaching her as well as her group of companions. Before she could even question what was happening, one of the Northern Alliance warriors spoke first.

"You have all been summoned to the throne room. Chief Virana and Drago wish to have words with you."

Nodding, the princess turned to her cousin, friends, and Lahn Wei until all of them were by her side and they advanced to the palace without delay. While ascending the stairs to her home, Namaari's mind couldn't help but spawn gruesome images about what exactly Drago was doing with her mother, the possibilities were endless and frightening; he could be subjecting her to grotesque torture for her failure in bringing back the gem pieces Raya had in her possession as well as Sisudatu or he could be raping her in the hopes of siring an heir to carry his malicious legacy. That thought caused Namaari to grow sick in her stomach, Drago was more than capable of committing such an offense, and he was raping her mother, Namaari would kill Drago herself.

Upon entering the throne room, Namaari laid eyes on Drago and his two warlords breaking words with her mother as well as the Fang Nation council and leaders of their nation's army. Virana halted the conversation for the time being and approached her daughter with open arms. "Namaari, welcome home," mother and daughter shared a warm embrace, when Virana pulled away, she urged her daughter to sit beside her on her throne. "Come. There is much to discuss and it will involve you and your commitment to Fang Nation as a whole." Confused by what her mother meant, Namaari nonetheless followed her mother until she was seated by her mother's throne.

"Drago Bludvist, you stand before me and the leaders of Fang Nation, demanding to merge our army with your Northern Alliance. Please, enlighten my daughter as to why our people should be forced into your thralldom."

The war master of the Northern Alliance pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed heavily, not wanting to repeat what had already been said. "I demand the fealty and loyalty of your army because I have faced a rather... annoying setback from a bleating sheep who mistakes himself as a wolf," he snarled out while curling his hands into tight fists. After taking a deep breath, Drago continued. "You all know of my infamy, reputation, and the ferocity of my junta. But now I offer Fang Nation to not only become the most feared nation in Kumandra, but I offer your warriors the choice of inflicting your culture's ferocity throughout the world! Together, the union between our two forces could strike fear into the hearts of many." Many of Fang Nation's council members murmured amongst each other, considering the proposal, but Drago continued. "I have encountered many nations and cultures who hold the most formidable warriors this world has to offer. Fang Nation stands as one of the many cultures I respect and admire. That is why I purpose my Chosen, Lahn Wei takes the hand of your daughter, Princess Namaari in marriage to solidify the union between Fang Nation and the Northern Alliance."

Namaari's eyes widened in horror upon hearing what Drago had planned, he wanted to use her as a means of subjugating her people and being nothing more than another appendage to his army. She then turned to her mother, who didn't hold the same reaction she had, instead she seemed to... approve of this union.

"Our junta recognizes the worth of superior warriors, and from what we've seen thus far, Fang Nation is a superior nation that holds warriors of worth," Chagatai Khan said with admiration. "Your people would not be in our thralldom, Chief Virana, instead they will be as brothers and sister in the field of battle."

"However, we seek to conquer this world and give every race and culture with warriors of worth the same choice we have given many before you; either join us in ruling the world or lie down with the rest of mankind's weakness and inferiority," Griselda said sternly. "We offer you and your people a fair choice. You would be wise to accept our proposal."

Many of the council members had already spoken among themselves, they all looked to Chief Virana and the lay of her thoughts. She rose from her throne, descending the stairs leading to her throne until she stood face to face with the man who robbed her of her husband all those years ago. "Do you promise that my people will go unmolested in exchange for this union you have... generously offered to us?"

Smiling, Drago bowed his head. "You have my word. If your daughter performs her duty and takes Lahn Wei as her husband, your people will prosper for ten thousand years, long after we are all dust," his smile faded and was replaced with a grim glare. "However, should your daughter defy this gracious offer, then your people will suffer until there is nothing left of Fang Nation; your history, culture, and existence in this world will be wiped clean. As if you were never one of the five nations of Kumandra in the first place."

Virana's breath hitched, she knew full well that Drago was not bluffing, he would destroy Fang Nation and all of what she held close to her heart if her daughter didn't perform her duties in acting for the best interest of the people of Fang.

"Have your daughter submit fealty to me or else I will order my armada to reduce your imperial city to rubble."

Turning to Namaari, Fang Nation's leader beckoned her daughter to come forward. Namaari, however, wanted to refuse this; she harbored affection for Raya, not Lahn Wei, she wanted to deny Drago, her mother, and her duty so that she could follow her heart's desires. But if she followed her selfishness and her desires, her home would be nothing but a distant memory and her people would suffer greatly for refusing Drago's demands.

She knew what she had to do. Even though she wanted to deny the monster who robbed her of her father.

Slowly but surely, Namaari rose and approached Drago, the war master glared at the princess before demanding. "Bow before me—"

"You think yourself powerful by threatening those you encounter with extinction and death, don't you? Well, I don't! You're pathetic, you're nothing but a monster you probably lost his people and culture in the same manner you've inflicted on countless other peoples throughout this world!" The princess of Fang Nation continued her bold words. "One of these days, you will cross the wrong culture, and they will see choke on your own words and your blood," Namaari bore her fangs and hissed. "I will not bow down before a murderer who believes himself a god!" The tension was so thick that nobody dared to even breathe, many of Fang Nation's councilors and people within held their breath, fearing for the life of their princess.

But Namaari had no fear in her eyes, she stood firm in the face of the man who would enslave her people and merely use her as a means of producing more warriors to ultimately serve him and his junta.

"Do what he says, Namaari," Virana begged her daughter before kneeling before Drago. The action shocked the princess, but Virana's next words caused Namaari to reconsider her defiance. "If you don't set aside your pride, Drago will force me to marry him. And I will not tarnish the memory of your father by marrying the one who killed him. Please, consider our people and their future."

Letting out a gasp of disbelief towards her mother, Namaari then looked to her cousin, Somwang, as well as Sirinan and Mayari who lost their parents to Drago when he came here all those years ago, expecting them to stand by her side. But the princess gasped as her cousin, and her friends bowed down to Drago, while also giving her looks of apology. Eventually, and with much hardship, every council member, commander, and leader of Fang Nation bowed down before Drago, even Namaari's friends and relatives, leaving only the princess herself to stand tall and defiant.

Drago bore his teeth at the stubborn princess and lifted his bullhook at her face while seething out. "On. Your. Knees."

Trembling with conflicting motives, Namaari knew that her mother's words were correct and that she needed to set aside her pride and selfish desires. With a mewl of defeat, and despair, Namaari's knees buckled and she fell to the floor, bowing down to Drago. Panting heavily, Namaari felt tears streaming down her face and her quiet sobs filled the air as she had to accept the harsh reality of what she had given up; happiness, her freedom, and possibly a life with Raya.

Something sharp and cold forced Namaari to look at the war master, it was Drago himself, wielding his bullhook while giving her an amused smile. "Bold words, little kitten," his smile was then replaced with a threatening glare. "Speak to me in such a manner again, and I will have your tongue." He then used the hook of his weapon to force Namaari on her feet before removing his weapon and then approached and circled her like a predator. "I can imagine you're feeling... defeated," Drago purred in her ear, causing Namaari to cringe in disgust at the warmth of his breath on her neck. "You wished that your mother, your friends, and your people had stood with you in defiance against me and my might—"

"No!" Namaari snarled out. "I wished that I only had the honor to stand up to you in the name of my father. The one you murdered and stole from me."

Chuckling darkly, Drago continued to taunt Namaari. "What honor you once had is now mine, little girl," he continued to circle her. "You have bowed before me so that you may live, but for a price. Your people will live and grow more prosperous than ever before because you have succumbed to my divinity—"

"You may have forced me to bow before you, but you are no god. You're nothing but a rabid dog that'll soon be put down," Namaari then gave Drago a devious smirk before walking away. "Perhaps the Dragon Master of Norway will end your life as well as end your legacy for good. I have laid eyes on him, he has a fire in his eyes that'll set the whole world ablaze because you slaughtered his people and destroyed all trace of his culture. I just pray that I live long enough to see you meet the end you rightfully deserve." As Namaari left the throne room, she smiled to herself in satisfaction as she heard Drago snarl at her words. She would leave that mindless brute, for the time being, she was now retiring to her bed chambers and taking a bath to erase the journey back home, the angst she was feeling, and the memory of hurting Raya from years past and when she fought her at Spine Nation.

Either way, Drago Bludvist will fall. And Namaari would ensure that the war master of the Northern Alliance meets a violent death.

The day that followed after escaping Namaari and a detachment of Fang Nation's army, Raya, Sisu, and the rest of their companions fled Spine Nation with haste. Knowing that her companions would want an explanation as to why she lied to them about Sisu, Raya promised her human companions that she would explain herself in the morning. Even though Raya had been given some serious injuries by Namaari during their fight, Sisu was able to heal her through her power of magic, much to Raya's amazement and awe. Her arm, which Namaari had fractured had healed instantly, thanks to the indescribable powers of Sisudatu.

As the following morning came, Heart Nation's princess looked back in the direction of Spine Nation. Raya's thoughts soon fell back on Namaari, she was so full of rage when she fought her, she didn't even listen to half of what her former best friend was trying to tell her. However, Namaari's words did echo in her mind.

"Drago Bludvist, war master of the Northern Alliance invaded Fang Nation long ago, he demanded my father to submit to his might and to personally take the Dragon Gem from Heart Nation. But respecting the friendship my father had with yours, and believing that Kumandra could be what it once was, my father refused the madman. For refusing the war master's wishes, Drago killed my father and then forced me and my mother with an ultimatum, either we steal the Dragon Gem from Heart Nation or watch as our people are wiped off the face of the earth for refusing to submit."

If that was truly the case, it would explain the uncharacteristic behavior Raya noted in both Namaari and Virana the last time she saw them in her own home all those years ago.

"My mother and I... we had no choice but to take the Dragon Gem, we were supposed to take it whole! None of this was supposed to happen; the Druun being unleashed once more, millions of Kumandra's people being subjugated and reduced to stone by the Druun, and... our friendship being shattered. I never meant for any of this to happen."

Again, Namaari's words echoed in Raya's mind, she recalled the tears in Namaari's eyes as she spoke such heartfelt words, full of regret and self-loathing. Although Raya wanted to deny Namaari's words as the truth, she briefly saw her eyes during their fight, and she recalled whenever her former friend would lie to her when they were younger just by looking into her eyes. And throughout that entire fight back at Spine Nation, Raya saw no deceit in her eyes. Namaari spoke true, and she was extending a hand out to her in the hope to receive her forgiveness.

But could she?

Even though Namaari and Virana were forced to do what they did six years ago, they got her mother killed, her father turned into a stone statue, and her people are all now mindless puppets for the Druun to control.

However, despite these grievous wounds that Fang Nation and its rulers had inflicted upon her, Raya had missed Namaari a great deal during her time out in the wilds of Kumandra; she missed being by her best friend and just telling her anything that spawned in her mind, she certainly missed the times when they'd spar together and hone their prowess as warriors, and she missed being able to touch her.

Suddenly, something struck Raya in the back of the head, causing her to grunt softly. Looking down at the deck, the princess picked up what had been thrown at her and then looked back at her companions with a questioning look. "Did you just hit me with a shrimp tail?"

The only answer Raya received was disappointing scowls, as well as glares. One of the Ongis passed Noi another shrimp, and the little girl gave Heart Nation's princess a look that considered whether or not she'd throw another shrimp tail at her.

Boun ultimately broke the tense silence and exclaimed in frustration. "When were you going to tell us she was Sisu?!"

"Well, technically, you always knew she was Sisu," Raya replied in a snarky manner, which resulted in Noi hurling another shrimp tail at Heart Nation's princess, Raya winced in pain and groaned out in annoyance. "Seriously?"

Tong then changed the subject, the large warrior turned to the Last Dragon and humbly inquired. "Why are you here, divine water dragon?"

"Is it not obvious, big man?" Sisu then wrapped her tail around Raya's shoulders and pulled her close. "Princess Raya and I are going to fix the world; expel the Druun from Kumandra and bring everybody reduced to stone statues or mindless slaves under the Druun's control back."

Boun straightened up upon hearing this, his next words were full of hope and curiosity. "You're going to bring everyone back?" Sisu smiled at the boy and nodded firmly in affirmation. "I want to help." Boun's bold words caused Sisu and Raya to share a look of both surprise and uncertainty.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that," Raya said before adding. "It's too dangerous."

Sighing, Boun shook his head. "You're not the only one who lost family to the Druun," the boy then approached Sisu and pleaded. "Please. Let me help you." He then kneeled before the Last Dragon, lifted his arms, and pressed his fingers together in both reverence and humility to Sisudatu. In a similar manner, Noi and her Ongis bowed before the water dragon and pressed their fingers together over their heads. Turning to Tong, both Sisu and Raya gasped when the hulking warrior presented Spine Nation's gem piece.

"I too wish to join this fellowship in saving our world from the Druun and all who threaten to enslave us."

Sharing a smile, Sisu and Raya watched as Tong kneeled and offered Spine Nation's gem piece. Humbly taking the gem piece, Sisu then glowed as she absorbed the power within the gem. Soon enough, rain began to fall, causing Sisu to smile and turn to Raya who held a hand out as the rains fell. "My older brother Pengu's magic," she then held one of her paws open, causing multiple raindrops to form into a pearl-sized water droplet. "With this, I can run on raindrops." To share what she could do, Sisu then began to run on the raindrops, causing Raya and those onboard the boat to watch in awe at the sight of such majestic grace.

For but a moment, it seemed that hope was all but secured for Kumandra.

As Raya and the others laughed and exclaimed in joy as Sisu continued to move majestically, a series of dragon roars could be heard from behind. Whirling around, Raya gasped at the sight of thousands of dragons approaching, but one soon landed on the ship, rocking it violently, and causing the occupants onboard to let out cries of confusion and worry. The dragon before Raya began to sniff her thoroughly before withdrawing and squawking urgently. Quickly taking in the appearance of this dragon, Raya noted how very beautiful and bird-like this bipedal dragon was, with its winged forelimbs and small, yellow eyes with black pupils. The beauty of this dragon was marred with scars and whiplashes, causing the princess of Heart Nation to wonder what happened to this beautiful dragon.

Its squawks of urgency broke Raya out of her stupor, she noted how that dragon was gesturing to its back. With her curiosity piqued, Raya then gasped at the sight of a bloodied, and pale Hiccup Haddock III. Quickly looking to the heavens, Raya barked out. "Sisu, get down here!" She then grabbed Hiccup and notes how he had several sharp, yet small projectiles embedded in his back. After ripping the projectiles out of the Viking's back, Raya turned to Boun. "Fetch whatever medicine and healing properties we have onboard!" The boy moves like a blur to fetch whatever he could, Raya then looked at Tong. "Help me with him!" The hulking warrior grabbed Hiccup by his legs while Raya had her hands underneath his armpits.

"You know this round eye foreigner?"

Raya looked up at the hulking warrior and nodded. "I met him after finding him near death at Spine Nation," chuckling lightly, Raya shook her head. "Looks like I'm saving his life again." They then set Hiccup down on a bench while Boun appeared with the medicine and healing properties he had on his boat.

Sisu soon touched down on the boat and gasped at the sight of a bloodied, and severely wounded Hiccup. The dragon then noted a sickening bruise forming in one of Hiccup's legs, and although it could've been mistaken as nothing more than just a bruise, Sisu knew that Hiccup was bleeding from the inside and that he would die if she didn't heal him. Whilst Raya and the others tended to Hiccup's outer wounds, Sisu placed a paw on Hiccup's leg and soon began to glow, she soon transferred her essence into Hiccup's leg, which ultimately stopped his internal bleeding and healed the severed blood vein within him.

Raya had stripped off the clothes Hiccup was wearing until he was naked from the upper body, she noted how precise and deadly each wound that Hiccup bore was. Whoever did this to the Viking knew how to go for fatal strikes, Hiccup was just fortunate that none of these wounds had killed him yet.

"Will... he be alright?"

Looking at Boun, the princess of Heart Nation looked at the boy and gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm sure he'll pull through," looking down at the unconscious Viking, Raya shook her head lightly. "Besides, he won't die until he has averaged those he lost." Pursing her lips, the princess then changed the subject. "In the meantime, take us to Fang Nation, Captain Boun." The boy nodded and had Tong help in steering as they moved to their next destination.

"You poor thing, no one should harbor such pain and hatred in their heart," Sisu cooed while looking at Raya. "He not only was bleeding internally but those projectiles in his back were laced with some sort of venom. Luckily, he gave mended his vein and have taken the venom out of his body. He was nearing the door to death, but he will live."

Breathing a sigh of relief, Raya then placed a hand on Hiccup's forehead and caressed sweaty, grime-covered skin. "His need for revenge is what will keep his fire burning," she related with Hiccup's need for vengeance, but the next she crossed path with Namaari, things would be different. She then cringed at the scent of horrid odor, battle, fire, and death which clung to Hiccup like clothing. "Sisu, help me get him cleaned up. He hasn't bathed in quite some time."

"I thought you'd never ask," Sisu then cringed. "He smells like death."

Ignoring Sisu's words, Raya placed a hand on Hiccup's forehead while murmuring to herself. "Don't worry, Hiccup, you're safe now," she smiled lightly at her Viking friend and repeated. "You're safe now."
