Shot 9: Khwaab Sa

Ragini and Lakshya were walking back home on the roads after giving an interview and being printed on the articles as well as becoming a famous face in the media. For Ragini, all that mattered was the smile she had seen of the children, she doesn't know why but it had soothed her and made her wanna smile and cherish their freedom with them. It was so sad how young girls got kidnapped and were prepared to be sold off, when will this human trafficking stop at last?

They had finally stopped outside Ragini's house and she turns to Lakshya. He passes a smile and she smiles back. Ragini walks towards the entrance and Lakshya gets a call.

He slides his phone out and answers his call, being surprised seeing his father call him.

"Hello?"

"Come home." DP utters and disconnects the call.

Lakshya wasn't expecting this, after Ragini had entered her house, Lakshya walked away to go to his house, which he had missed.

Lakshya had reached and was walking inside Maheshwari Mansion and sees everyone in the hall.

DP sees him walk down and stands up from the sofa. Lakshya stops mid way of the stairs. Everyone look up and the ones sitting on the sofa stand up.

"We saw the news. . ." DP trails off, hesitant to complete what he wants to say.

Seeing DP take time, Adarsh sighs and looks at Lakshya. "He wants to say he's proud of you and that he's sorry for kicking you out." Adarsh utters, partially uttering what DP wanted to say.

DP stares at Adarsh while Lakshya couldn't believe it, his dad wanted to say sorry to him was more than a shock for Lakshya to hear.

"Is the girl on the TV with you who you love?" Sujata asks and Lakshya doesn't hesitate, he shakes his head positively. "She's very pretty." Sujata adds with a smile and then sees DP staring her.

DP sighs and looks at Lakshya, ready to say what he wanted to. "You can come back in the house. You made us proud by saving those girls." And that's all DP had uttered before walking away.

AP was glad that her son was back home. Lakshya kept his smile hidden and walks up, heading towards his room. He wasn't bothered about his suitcase, his bed matters more to him than his clothes.

A tired Lakshya enters his room and falls on his bed, forgetting all his tension and worries, dozing off.

Ragini was in her room, standing by the window and feeling the wind which was blowing while staring at the moon. She was remembering Lakshya.

Her hair was blowing and a smile wouldn't leave her lips. Unknown feelings had took over her and a music of her choice plays in her mind.

Soyi soyi palkho pe chalke
Mere sapno ke khidki pe aa gaya

She looks down and flashes of Lakshya and her moments flash in her mind.

Aate jaate phir mere dil ke
Inn haathon mein woh khat pakda gaya
Pyar ka... lafzo mein rang hai pyar ka

She smiles shyly with a turn and begins to walk towards her bed.

Ragini closes her eyes and Lakshya's 'I love you's' were repeatedly running through her mind, his voice had been thought of so accurate that she could feel him whisper it to her.

She opens her eyes and lays on her bed, covering herself with her duvet and eventually closes her eyes with a new feeling.

As sleep took over Ragini, she landed at a place in her dream, no less than a beach with decoration and a song begins to play as she slowly walked in a white gown with silver embroidered.

Kacchi doriyon, doriyon, doriyon se
Mainu tu baandh le

She followed the voice her eyes land on Lakshya, who was dressed in a suit and he continues to sing.

Lakshya: Pakki yaariyon, yaariyon, yaariyon mein
Honde na faasley

He walks towards her and forwards his hand.

Eh naraazgi kaagzi saari teri
Mere sohneya sunn le meri

She places her hand in his and he begins to twirl her.

Dil diyan gallan
Karaange naal naal beh ke
Akh naal akh nu milaa ke

They danced with the rhythm and he stops twirling her.

Lakshya mouths and turns her and slides his hand down her arm and to her hand: Dil diyan gallan haaye...
Karaange roz roz beh ke
Sacchiyan mohabbataan nibha ke

Sataaye mainu kyun
Dikhaaye mainu kyun

Ragini was now turned, facing him while he continued mouthing:
Aiven jhuthi mutthi russ ke rusaake
Dil diyan gallan haaye
Karaange naal naal beh ke
Akh naal akh nu mila ke

Lakshya leans forward but she turns her face away and rushes from there.

She stops inside a tent where there were tables which absolutely supported the scenery as it indicates romantic set up.

Lakshya: Tenu lakhan ton chhupa ke rakhaan (walks up to her)
Akkhaan te sajaa ke tu ae meri wafaa

He twirls her and they do a dance move in which her turning was included.

Rakh apna bana ke
Main tere layi aan
Tere layi aan yaaran
Naa paavin kade dooriyan (x2)

They repeat the steps as the lyrics repeated.

Main jeena haan tera...

He pushes her out and then pulls her in, he then holds her hand and twirls her, which results her back touching his chest and they move side to side.

Main jeena haan tera
Tu jeena hai mera
Dass lena ki nakhra dikha ke

He twirls her back out and they face each other.

Dil diyan gallan
Karaange naal naal beh ke
Akh naal akh nu mila ke

He had held her hand and the two moved in and out with the opposite foot.

Dil diyan gallan...

He pulls her close and then tilts her back.

Raatan kaaliyan, kaaliyan, kaaliyan ne
Mere din saanwale

He makes her stand and swirls her as the balloons begin to fly through.

Mere haaniyan, haaniyan, haaniyan je
Lagge tu na gale

He holds her hand and then pulls her closer.

Mera aasmaan mausamaan di na sune
Koi khwaab na poora bane

He turns her and then she places her hand in his other other hand and he lifts her.

She tilts her head while he spins.

Dil diyan gallan
Karange naal naal beh ke
Akh naal akh nu mila ke

He then places her on the floor and then holds her right hand, they then motion a semi circle and she turns towards jinx

Pataa hai mainu kyun chupa ke dekhe tu

She places her head on his chest and he hugs her.

Mere naam se naam mila ke
Dil diyan gallan
Karange naal naal beh ke
Akh naal akh nu mila ke

Bubbles began to appear as the two enjoy their time.

Dil diyan gallan...

"I love you Ragini." Lakshya whispers.

"I love you too." Ragini confesses and the two shared a hug.

It was morning, the birds fly across the sky as the sun becomes visible.

"Lakshya, wake up!" AP utters while shaking Lakshya, who was deep asleep.

"Lakshya!" Sanskar raises his tone and Lakshya slowly opens his eyes.

"What happened?" Lakshya, in a sleepy tone questions and closes his eyes again.

"Lakshya wake up! The police want to meet you." Swara says as she was stood besides Sanskar.

Lakshya opens his eyes again and sits up, though he didn't want to step out of his bed, he had to as the police had come for him. He wonders what crime he had done.

As Lakshya got up, he slowly walked out of the room with AP, Swara and Sanskar and rubs his eyes.

"There he is." RP points out as he sees Lakshya walking down.

The inspector and his team, who were stood in the hall turn and see Lakshya walking down the hall.

Lakshya was nervous, he wonders what he had done, could it be any plan of Kavya to trap him or what. His heartbeats slowly thumped each time he took a step closer to the police.

"Mr Lakshya, the government was impressed with your bravery and act, they sent these 10 Lakhs as a reward." The Inspector reveals and Lakshya stops where he was stood.

Did he really hear 10 Lakhs? His eyes dilated in the shock he received upon hearing that while DP proudly holds his head high. The rest of the family members, expect Adarsh curve a proud smile as the look at Lakshya.

Lakshya was encouraged to walk further and he did, he was out of his shock land and now walked towards the Inspector, collecting his reward and curling a wide grin.

"Thank you." He, from the bottom of his heart says and was about to hug him but stops after seeing his expressions.

"Sorry." He apologises takes steps back.

The inspector leaves with his team afterwards and Lakshya was so happy that he could do a victory dance right now.

All that running through his mind was that he won the challenge. He won it, the 5 Lakhs he needed came within the 10 Lakhs, his honesty won, his dedication won, his hard-work won and most importantly, his love won.

Before anyone could say anything to him, even wish him. Lakshya began to run out, surprising everyone, Lakshya didn't care what he was wearing, all that mattered was delivering the remaining 5 Lakhs.

Ragini and opened her eyes slowly and glanced around, realising the meaning of her dream and shyly smiles. She had decided she would tell Lakshya her feelings today so that she doesn't have to hear it's too late.

She stepped down from her bed and walked towards her wardrobe, choosing an outfit today.

"Maa!" She hears Shekhar shout and turns her head, looking at the door which leads to the hall. "Maa!" She hears Shekhar shout again.

Ragini couldn't hold her steps back, she wondered why her father is yelling for her Daadi. Wasting no more time, she walks towards her door and looks forward while walking out.

"What is it?!" Parvati asks irritatedly while walking out.

Shekhar shows Parvati his phone screen, Parvati's eyes land on his screen and her eyes dilate in shock. The amount was slowly going up and had finally reached 50 Lakhs.

Ragini stands at a distance. "He did it Maa, he won. He won this challenge." Shekhar says which brings delight to Ragini.

A smile curled on her lips, though she knew he could do it but hearing he won brings a new happiness for her, it's like she has won too.

Shekhar was glad Lakshya won, he believes no one could've possibly loved Ragini like Lakshya does. Parvati couldn't believe it, for her it's like a nightmare she wishes to wake up from.

Ragini rushes back to her room with a smile.

Lakshya, who was in his night shorts and yellow vest walks on the roads with his slippers on. He was excited, happy and what not.

Kavya, who was driving past stops the car and sees Lakshya, she then steps out and stands in front of him. His smile disappears as he sees Kavya.

"Lakshya. I'm sorry, I'm sorry for planning and plotting against you. I say I love you but I don't, Nikhil opened my eyes. If I loved you then your happiness should be my happiness too. I'm leaving for Paris today, away from you. Go live your life with Ragini and a advance birthday wishes. I know it's 5 months away but if I don't call or wish, then remember I gave my advance wish already." Kavya says and then walks away with guilt reflecting from her eyes.

Lakshya sees her leave, Kavya sits inside her car and darts away.

Lakshya had felt her guilt and knows that Kavya isn't a threat to him anymore. He continued walking and at last reaches his home. He wanted to look presentable just before going to Ragini's house.

As he entered, all the ladies looked at him as the men had left for office.

"Where did you go Chhore?" Sujata asks while raising her eyebrows.

"I. . ." Lakshya trails off and then sighs, deciding to tell AP, Parineeta and Sujata the truth.

As he begins, Sujata gave reactions.

"What kind of Daadi is she? She made you struggle to just prove your love?" Swara remarks and Lakshya shakes his head positively.

He didn't tell them about her Kasam that she made to Ragini and didn't bother telling them that she couldn't speak earlier on.

"Even I want to come along." Sujata says while AP looks at her.

"Ok-ay." Lakshya utters awkwardly.

"Since Mom's tagging along then me and Badimaa would too, if you don't mind. I also want to see your Dadisaas." Swara says with a small smile and Lakshya looks at her. He had no choice but to agree now.

He walks upstairs to get changed.

"Pari Bhabhi. . ."

"I want to stay home, if I leave then the house would be unattended." Parineeta responds and they nod at her.

After a while, Lakshya was all dressed and ready to go to Ragini. He walked down and his eyes fall on Sujata and Swara who had changed their Sarees.

"We're going to their house, not to a function." He remarks and they ignore him.

"Whatever." Swara sighs and Lakshya walks out.

AP, Sujata and Swara follow.

**

Ragini was ready and walks inside the hall, she was waiting for Lakshya's call but was also disappointed to see no messages from him either.

"Why isn't Lakshya messaging or calling?" Ragini whispers to self as she begins to think.

The door bell rings and this grabs Ragini's attention, before Ragini could go to open the door, Parvati walks out of the kitchen and heads closer to door.

She opens it and sees Lakshya at her doorstep, she rolls her eyes while he bends down to take her blessing with a wide grin.

She unwillingly blesses him. "Hmm, stay blessed." She utters a little sternly and moves away.

Lakshya stands straight. "See Daadi, I've brought some ladies to meet you."

Parvati arches her eyebrows at him and from behind him, the three ladies walk out.

Swara folds her hand while looking at Parvati.

"Namaste Daadi Ji, I'm Lakshya's Bhabhi, Swara." Parvati curves a small fake smile nodding at her.

"I'm Laks's Chachi and this is my Jiji, Laks's mother." Sujata says and Parvati looks at Sujata and AP, folding her hands unwillingly and glueing the small fake smile.

Sujata and AP reciprocate and fold their hands.

"Daadi Ji, won't you invite us in?" Lakshya queries and Parvati looks at him. "You've already entered, how much more will you come in?" She taunts but he ignores it as his mood was all set. Swara, Sujata and AP could sense Parvati wasn't happy with Lakshya at all.

"Come in." Parvati adds and moves out of the way.

Ragini was wondering who was at the door step, as soon as she sees Lakshya walk inside, she smiles but then gets confused seeing AP, Sujata and Swara walk inside too.

Sujata's eyes fall on Ragini and she smiles, approaching her.

"She looks more beautiful in real than TV." Sujata exclaimed and Ragini nervously smiles.

'My Chachi.' Lakshya mouths as Ragini looked at him, she understands and then looks at Sujata with a smile.

Ragini bends down to take Sujata's blessings and Sujata blesses her.

"This is my Maa." Lakshya says while pointing at AP.

Ragini smiles at AP and walks towards her and bends down, taking her blessings.

"May god bless you." AP blesses and Ragini stands straight.

"This is Swara, my Bhabhi." Lakshya introduces Swara and Swara smiles at Ragini and Ragini reciprocates to the smile.

Parvati rolls her eyes, not interested at all. Now that Lakshya has won the challenge, Parvati wasn't really allowed to stop him from entering her house to meet Ragini. She had to put stone on her heart and accept Lakshya as Lakshya proved his love for Ragini which remained the same.

Parvati grabs Ragini attention and signals her make them sit down, Ragini blinks and Parvati heads towards the kitchen.

"Come, take a seat." Ragini utters in polite and they nod, heading towards the couch taking a seat.

Sujata begins to talk to Ragini non-stop and Lakshya curves a nervous smile while looking at Ragini. AP also begins to talk to Ragini and then Swara does too.

Lakshya looks at all three charging their questions and talks at Ragini.

Ragini looks at Lakshya who was sat opposite her and he smiles at her, she smiles back at him.

'Sorry.' He, with his facial expression says and Ragini blinks, assuring him it's not a problem.

Swara notices this and silently smiles, just then Parvati walks out with snacks.
