Shot 10: Humari Kahaani

Parvati had walked out and served the snacks.

"Kakisa, me and Jiji were wondering to take the kids to Mandir, so that they could take the blessings and start their new life with positivity." Sujata says and Parvati nods.

Parvati then gazes at Lakshya who was giving her a wide fake smile, she rolls her eyes and looks at Ragini. "Ragini, go and get ready."

Ragini nods and stands up, she walks inside her room to get changed as fast as she could.

"Dadiji, why don't you join us too?" Swara asks and Parvati looks at her. "I'll come when the marriage dates are fixed." Parvati replies as she doesn't like these type of meetings and relationships that are before marriage.

She looks at Lakshya, who's expressions she thought would change but he kept those expressions of happiness. Ragini soon steps out and Lakshya's eyes land on her shoe.

He slowly lifts his gazes and mesmerisingly stares at her, she feels his gazes on her and walks towards them while looking down.

"May god protect you from evil eye." AP happily says and puts the kaala teeka behind her ear.

"Dever ji, control." Swara teasingly whispers in his right ear, grabbing his attention.

AP and Sujata take Ragini towards the exit while Swara and Lakshya follow them. Parvati sees them leave.

"This boy even brought his family, is he serious about Laado?" She asks herself, making sure she hasn't made a mistake by already judging him and assuming he would leave Ragini after satisfying himself.

They had reached the temple and were walking up, Lakshya was happy that Ragini was with him and that he won. Swara, Sujata and AP were walking in front of them and taking that as an advantage, Lakshya grabs onto Ragini's hand. She shockingly turns her head towards him and then looks down.

"Lakshya. . ." She trials off in a whisper and then looks in front, hoping none of them to turn. "They won't know." He whispers back and both look at each other.

Ragini was nervous but Lakshya didn't really care if they looked. He mainly admired her while she continuously looked up, praying they wouldn't turn. Finally they had reached the top, Ragini frees her hand and walks towards them, she turns to Lakshya as he slowly follows.

They enter the temple and then stand their, folding their hands and closing their eyes to pray. Lakshya opens one of his eyes and looks to the side, seeing Ragini on the other end. He walks towards her and taps her shoulder, she opens her eyes while folding her hand and turns, she looks on seeing Lakshya and nervously glances at AP, Sujata and Swara who had their eyes closed.

Ragini communicates with her eyes nervously, telling him to go while he shakes his head negatively. The pandit begins to do the aarti and everyone stand, AP, Sujata and Swara move forward and then close their eyes again. Lakshya grabs onto Ragini's hand while she tried to free it. Fearing that they would turn, Ragini leans forward and places a peck on his cheek which shocked him, he let go of her hand and she rushed towards them. Sujata opened her eyes and sees Ragini standing besides Swara with her hands folded, Ragini looks at Sujata and curves a nervous smile while Sujata smiles, she then sees Lakshya far and signals him to come. He, who was touching his cheek sees Sujata and nods, coming forward.

Ragini had closed her eyes but then feels a finger drawing a line on her stomach, she feels ticklish and jerks that finger away without opening her eyes. She knows it would be no one other than Lakshya. He teases her by drawing another line on her back, she feels goosebumps but ignores the feeling. Lakshya then begins to tease her by blowing his hot breath near her neck and then pecking her cheeks. Ragini opens her eyes and turns swiftly, she was so close to Lakshya that their noses meet and their chest had no gap in between. He looses himself in her eyes and so does she, the two share an eye-lock. Ragini's heartbeats start to increase, due to fear and hers and Lakshya's closeness.

"I love you." She whispers, finally listening to her heart and saying what her heart was shouting while beating.

Her whisper slowly reached his eardrums and surprised him as he wasn't expecting this, his heartbeats start to increase and he looks at her. Hearing the shell being blown, Ragini gets alert and turns back around, her shy smile curves up her lips while Lakshya froze, he wasn't sure how to express his happiness, did he just hear her say I love you to him, did she really say it, he couldn't believe it. Ragini hears him release a breath and he does, with a smile and rubbing his hand on the back of his head while taking steps away.

Everyone open their eyes and Ragini pretends to open hers too. AP glances around and sees Lakshya standing at a distance while smiling at himself.

"Lakshya!" AP shouts and grabs his attention, she then signs him to come and he looks at Ragini who looks at him with a  small shy smile.

Lakshya slowly walks towards AP. "You and Ragini go take blessings." She adds and Lakshya nods.

Sujata sends Ragini forward while Lakshya walks forward.

"Mom, Badimaa, lets go."

"Why?"

"Mom, why shall we be in between them? Lakshya won and he obviously wants to share his happiness with Ragini, so we should leave them." AP and Sujata understand what Swara was saying and agree.

Lakshya Ragini look at each other while bending down. A flower falls down and the Pandit notices.

"You have been blessed. Truly blessed." He utters, making them stand straight.

"Lakshya, we're leaving now. There's loads of important work left at home. If possible then do bring Ragini for a visit. We will take your leave." AP utters and Lakshya nods.

AP then blesses Ragini and walks towards Swara and Sujata who were prepared to leave.

Ragini and Lakshya also exit the temple slowly.

Ragini was about to trip but Lakshya holds her hand and stops her from tripping down. He pulls her closer to him and their chests bump into each other.

"I didn't hear what you said earlier on." Lakshya lies, wanting to hear it again.

Ragini blinks at him, she places her head on his chest and softly confesses "I love you Lakshya." Lakshya hugs her happily. "I love you too Ragini." He says and the two continue hugging.

Suddenly the thunder strikes and water begins to pour down, Ragini and Lakshya part and look up, seeing the rain drops increase and try to go into the temple but stop, seeing loads of people taking shelter in there. Ragini then looks at Lakshya.

She walks down and he follows her, she stops far away from the temple and tilts her head up with closed eyes and arms spread, spinning around as the rain showers down. Lakshya stops and sees her.

Ragini: Panchhi bole hain kya
Piya sun le chalo
Pyaas badhti rahe pyaar hota rahe
Aaj dil se sadaa aa rahi hai suno
Ishq jagta rahe waqt sota rahe

(She opens her eyes and faces him.)

Lakshya smiles: Itne din main jiya kya jiya
Ab to jeena hai tere liye
Dil ne dil se yeh waada kiya (He walks up to her)
Sau janam bhi loon tere liye

Ragini turns around as Lakshya reaches her: Panchhi bole hain kya
Piya sun le chalo
Pyaas badhti rahe pyar hota rahe

He holds her hand and touches his chest with her back. She feels his hot breath on her neck and closes her eyes as it continues to rain.

Lakshya: Tu kahe toh aasmaano pe likh doon
Umrr bhar ko ab to hona judaa

Ragini opens her eyes and turns towards him, looking at him: Sab likh du aankhon se
Aankhon se dil pe likh
Ishq to pyara hai pyara yaara

She begins to move away and he walks towards her.

Lakshya: Itne din main jiya kya jiya
Ab to jeena hai tere liye
Dil ne dil se yeh waada kiya (He points at his heart and then at hers)
Phir janam main loon tere liye

Ragini smiles and turns around, rushing away: Panchhi bole hain kya
Piya sun le chalo
Pyaas badhti rahe pyaar hota rahe

She stops near a tree and touches it, inhaling and exhaling deep breath as her heartbeats increase.

Lakshya stands in front of her: La mere naam apni shamein tu kar de (he pecks her forehead)
Main tujhe doon sare palchhin mere

Ragini: Shamein teri din bhi tere
Tujhko diye saare lamhe
Le ja mujhe ko aa re jogi aa

Lakshya: Itne din main jiya kya jiya
Ab to jeena hai tere liye (he holds her hand a she leans against the tree)
Dil ne dil se yeh waada kiya (he makes her touch his heart and then feel hers while singing)
Sau janam bhi loon tere liye

Ragini while looking into his eyes: Panchhi bole hain kya
Piya sun le chalo
Pyaas badhti rahe pyaar hota rahe
(Lakshya inches forward and Ragini turns her head away shyly while singing)
Aaj dil se sadaa aa rahi hai suno
Ishq jagta rahe waqt sota rahe

Lakshya plants a kiss on her soft cheeks and she closes her eyes while shivering, the leaves on the tree give them shelter for a while. Lakshya keeps his nose on her cheek while closing his eyes and feeling her, she allows him to feel her and he wraps his hand around her waist while the other hand was holding her hand.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me." He whispers and she slowly opens her eyes. "You're the one who completes me." She whispers back and Lakshya opens his eyes, the two look at each other and their noses touch.

He gives her a quick peck on the lips and moves away, shocking her. She touches her lips and looks at him. "Lakshya!!" She gasps and he begins to run while she starts to chase him. "This is not done!" She shouts and Lakshya laughs while running.

She had finally managed to catch up to him and playfully hits him on the chest, he acts as if she had punched hard and she stares at him with a pout, he then places his palm on her hair and pushes her head to his chest, making her rest it and then hugging her while she closed her eyes with a pout. Afterwards he pecks her hair and then apologises. She continues hitting him.

After a while, the two reached Ragini's house and to their surprise, the door was opened.

"Yes, I don't mind." They hear Parvati say and then peek inside, Lakshya looks on seeing his whole family in the house.

"I would be glad if Ragini could be your Bahu." Shekhar happily utters, surprising Ragini and Lakshya.

"It's Lakshya's birthday in six months, after that we can find the marriage dates as he would be legally 21 years old. For now, we should arrange for their engagement." DP utters and Shekhar shakes his head in understanding.

Ragini looks at Lakshya and he looks at her, the two step out silently.

"Our engagement?" Lakshya asks and Ragini nods.

"Why? Aren't you happy?"

"I am happy but I'm surprised Papa agreed for this and is ready to get me engaged." Lakshya expresses. "So many good news in a day would surely kill me." Lakshya adds and Ragini puts a strand of her hair behind her earlobe with a smile.

Lakshya picks her up and she gazes at him surprisingly, he then begins to twirl her and she looks at the door. "Someone will come." She worries but he ignores her.

"Forget them." He utters and looks at her with a faint smile while spinning her, she looks into his eyes and smiles as he happily spins her.

Parvati had no problem with this alliance as she knows no one could give her the love Lakshya can. Shekhar was happy that his daughter found her love. Maheshwari family were happy for Lakshya.

The rain had stopped and allowed Ragini and Lakshya to cherish their happiness beneath the sky, alone.

He loved her and she loved him, no relationship could get any perfecter, they were happy together, they gave each other their hearts and now we're blossoming in the flower of love.

Love had taught both of them another meaning and had made their hearts beat for each other.
