Shot 7: His 'Bad Luck'

The jeep was stood at an isolated place, they had the bag to the men which Kavya had sent to keep an eye out on Lakshya. He pays a separate lakh to them with a smirk and they leave.

His phone starts buzzing and he answers it. "The money was successfully robbed, I have it with me."

"Very good. You can keep that money."

The call disconnects and the man happily stares at the bag.

Kavya, who had disconnected the call smirks and lays on her bed.

"I'm sorry Lakshya. You can't be Ragini's, you're only mine and I won't let you be hers. What did you see in her that you didn't see in me? I will make sure you loose this challenge and loose that Ragini forever." Kavya says to herself and closes her eyes with a small smile, knowing her plan was successful.

Lakshya enters Karthik's house disappointedly. His parents weren't at home and had gone out for few weeks so Karthik allowed Lakshya to stay over for a night. He knows he would be bombarded with loads of questions by his worried family members and he was not in the mood.

He had messaged Sanskar and turned his phone off.

Navya, who was still awake walks out of her room and sees Lakshya and Karthik in the hall.

"Don't worry Lakshya. We will report the robbery to the police and hopefully get the 8 Lakhs back." Karthik assures But Lakshya was too depressed to even talk.

Navya moves back into her room and covers her mouth. "His 8 Lakhs got robbed?" She shockingly whispers to herself and decides to message Ragini but after seeing the time, she stops.

"She must be sleeping." Navya adds.

Lakshya then enters the guest room and jumps on the bed. His whole mood was off, he couldn't help but to mourn over the money he had lost.

"Lucky, at least eat your food." Karthik utters as he walks inside.

Lakshya doesn't react. "Are you alive or have you died out of the shock?" Karthik adds and Lakshya closes his eyes.

Karthik sighs and shakes his head, walking out of the room. "He hasn't ate anything since lunch and when he'll faint, then he'll realise the importance of food."

Lakshya hears a knock on the door but ignores it.

A plate of food was kept on next to him, his eyes fall on it but he doesn't look up.
The plate inches forward and Lakshya gets annoyed.

"I don't want to eat!" He yells frustratedly and looks up boy looks on.

Ragini was standing there, looking at him and he shockingly sits up.

Ragini forwards the plate again, Lakshya shakes his head negatively, not wanting to eat.

Ragini pleads him with her eyes and expressions. He looks away with his head down. She then takes a seat besides him, picking the plate and forwarding a morsel near his mouth.

He lifts his gazes and joins it with hers, sensing her tension regarding it. He leans forward and eats the morsel. Ragini continues feeding him with moist eyes.

Navya smiles and it shifts to the flashback.

Navya couldn't help but to call Ragini and she did, telling her about the loss of 8 Lakhs.

Ragini was shocked and worried when Navya had told her about him being depressed.

She disconnected the call and then got off from her bed. She locks her door from the inside and walks towards her window.

'Come on Ragini, you can do this.' She says to herself in her mind and holds on to the pipe, climbing down.

She had fell down from the last few steps of the pipe and injured herself. But she didn't care, she stood up and rushed towards Navya's house which was 10 minutes away from her house.

Their eyes lock and Lakshya didn't realise when he had finished the whole food.

Ragini places the plate down and looks at him, her eyes had many questions for him. She shakes her head negatively and he understood that she knows about the challenge.

"I won't back off Ragini. My love deserves a chance to make it's identity right?" His response formed tears in her eyes and she looks at him. "So what if I lost this time? I will definitely win."

Their eyes lock again, he feels bad seeing her tears as they roll down.

He wipes them, shaking his head, indicating her not to cry. She looks at him with sad expressions, her eyes won't stop watering. Why is he doing so much for her, why does he love her so much.

Ragini quickly types something on her phone, confusing Lakshya, she then shows him and he heads of.

'Why do you love me? I'm not worth you Lakshya. You can find someone better than me, please stop all this, it's not worth it. I don't want to see you struggle because of me.'

Lakshya looks up at her "I haven't loved you to stop. Yes, I can find someone better than you but not you Ragini. Will I be able to find another Ragini? This struggle is to prove my love to you Daadi and give it a name and it's worth more than my own life."

Ragini places her hand on Lakshya's mouth, stopping him from speaking further as tears fall out of her eyes. She would never want him to risk his life.

He pulls it down. "I deserve a chance to prove myself and I promise to never let this tears fall out ever again." He utters, wiping her tears again and then cupping her face, bringing his lips closer to her forehead. She closes her eyes as she feels his lips on her forehead.

A weird feeling woke inside her, some shivers had been triggered and she felt the love in his warm soft peck.

Navya walks away, finally giving them privacy as she chirps "They're so cute."

She slowly opens her eyes as he parts his lips away, she felt comfortable with his touch. Ragini stares into his eyes, finding his love for her true. She slowly blinks at him and he looks at her.

There was silence and in between that silence, the two could hear their perspective heartbeats which beats for each other, which screamed that they were destined to connect and which proves that Ragini and Lakshya are meant to be together.

Ragini stands up, walking away as fast as she could and Lakshya closes his eyes in regret, assuming he had scared her with his sudden kiss on the forehead.

Ragini left from the house without saying anything.

After a while she had entered in her room through her window and sat on her bed, remembering what happened just a while ago.

She lays down and stares into space.

On the other side Lakshya lays down, thinking about Ragini.

Ragini closes her eyes, remembering Lakshya's words.

'How can he love me so much?' She asks herself in her mind and opens her eyes.

She had sensed his love for her and this struggle proves his love for her isn't a time pass, she's too scared to reciprocate to his feelings in the fear of something bad happening to him.

It was morning and the sun rises, Lakshya was still sleeping. Karthik enters the room and rushes towards Lakshya.

"Lucky! Wake up!"

Lakshya doesn't wake up and Karthik slaps him on the back, the sound of the slap echoed and Karthik bites his tongue, realising he slapped Lakshya too hard.

Lakshya, who felt the sting makes a face while opening his sleepy eyes.

"You. . ."

Before Lakshya could complete, Karthik interrupts "Hurry up! I found a place where you can preform. They'll pay you 10 Lakhs." Lakshya instantly sat up hearing '10 Lakhs.' He widens his eyes open and looks at Karthik.

"10 L. . . Lakhs?"

Karthik shakes his head positively. "You need to sing in a restaurant of Kolkata's most expensive, five star hotel because there's a reception party there and they're paying big amount. They're looking for a one day singer, I talked to them and they agreed to take you in after seeing your video."

Lakshya curves a small smile but his smile fades "Video? What video?"

"The one of you which is gone viral on YouTube."

"What?!" He shockingly responds and Karthik confusingly looks at him.

"What happened? Why are you so shocked?"

"What if that video reaches Papa? He would kill me."

"Worry about uncle later, first get ready for the restaurant."

Karthik literally drags Lakshya out of bed and Lakshya goes to freshen up.

Ragini was still sleeping which surprised Parvati. Obviously there was no college today but usually even on non college days Ragini would have woken up early and Parvati was now concerned.

She pushed Ragini's door but it wouldn't move, now it was very surprising as the door was locked.

"Laado never locks her room door." Parvati whispers to herself, now a little suspicious.

Parvati moves to the side and opens her small window, which gave her the view of Ragini's room and there she sees Ragini sleeping on her bed. She was a little relieved and decides to let her sleep.

Lakshya had reached the hotel with Karthik, they look around and the manager approach them.

"Thank you for coming on such a short notice, follow me please." Laskshya and Karthik begin to follow the manager of the hotel.

The manager points at the stage and Lakshya walks there while Karthik stands behind the guests.

Kavya was in the same restaurant and was surprised seeing Lakshya there.

"Lakshya, what is he doing here? Oh no, what should I do? If he successfully completes his work then he'll get the money." Kavya whispers to herself worriedly, she was clueless that Lakshya would arrive here. She was here because she was the friend of the couple.

Kavya excuses herself and walks to the side, dialling a number.

"Hello, listen. . . Gopal is gone to visit his mother. Come to hotel blue-bells and. . ." Kavya utters and begins to tell her new man the plan. Gopal, her old man who had kept the money bag had to visit his mother, who was ill.

Lakshya begins to strum while few people looking at him. The bride and groom walk into the centre, the guests were sat and Kavya comes back, taking her seat.

(Seeing the guests enjoy, the manager gets happy while Kavya forced a fake smile)

The whole crowd started clapping expect Kavya and the couples stop, turning to him with a smile.

He then begins to strum another tune.

(Few other couples join the bride and groom in dancing)

Lakshya continues singing songs while everyone enjoy.

After finishing the song he was singing, Lakshya utters "This is what Mr Sinha wants to dedicate to Mrs Sinha."

He then starts strumming, Kavya looks at the entrance, waiting for her man to show up.

"What is this rubbish? He can't even sing." A man stands up and Kavya turns.

Seeing her man, she smirks but hides it. Lakshya and the guest look at him.

"Ufff, his voice just bursted my ears." The man complains.

Karthik looks at Lakshya while he gets angry, the crowed were shocked. The manager was surprised.

"Who hired you? This whole time my head was paining by hearing your voice. You should just stop singing!" He yet again insults and Lakshya clenches his fist.

"If you sound better then you come up and sing." He rudely responds.

"See this, is this how he behaves with guests? He's crossing his limits, hasn't his parents taught him anything?"

"Enough, don't bring my parents into this!" Lakshya sternly raises his voice.

"What should I do? Your mannerless behaviour shows that your mother and father didn't bring you up right." The man continues to taunt and Lakshya gets angry.

"Don't you dare!" He warns with raised voice.

"See how rude he is behaving. Manager! Get this do kore ka bhikaari our from here!"

Lakshya angrily charges at him but Karthik stands in between as well as the manager.

"Your hotel is rubbish, your stuff doesn't even know how to talk to a costumer properly."

"You can't blame the hotel for your cheap thinking. If you have so much problem then leave, don't ruin someone else's happy day." Lakshya retorts.

"Leave." The manager says, shocking Karthik and Lakshya.

The newly wedded couple stand up. "Why should he leave? If someone needs to leave then it's that man. He's the one who's creating problem for all of us, if he didn't like his singing then he could've silently left, what was the need to create a scene and ruin our day?" The girl was getting annoyed as it was her reception who that man ruined and she defended Lakshya.

"Calm down Richa."

"No! That man was so selfish, he only cared about himself and ruined our big day! What was the need to do that haan Rishi? I was enjoying him singing, we were enjoying but that man just cared about himself and created a scene. Just get him out of here! How rude was he, he started bringing that singers parents into this. I don't want such cheap men in my reception party. Just get him out from my eyes." Richa annoyedly utters.

"Manager. . ." Rishi trials off and signals the manager to kick the man out.

Kavya was stunned as her plan backfired on her.

"What the hell!" The man sighs. "It was this boy who created the drama." He continues, wanting to provoke Lakshya so bad that he ends up hitting him.

Richa frustratedly walked out and Rishi follows her. The guest slowly start disappearing and the man also walks away. Kavya also walks out. The manager looks at Lakshya.

"I'm sorry for whatever happened and about the payment. . . I can only give you 2 Lakhs." Lakshya was disappointed with the managers response.

Karthik sighs and shakes his head, agreeing. The manager then leaves to get the money.

Lakshya frustratedly drops the guitar. "Ever since I broken the oath, everything has been going bad. Swara was right, Karma has came for me."

"Don't loose hope."

"Ever since I held that guitar, my bad luck got triggered. I shouldn't have broken the oath." Lakshya regrets a sigh and Karthik controls him.

The manager enters with two lakhs in cash and Lakshya takes it. He slides it down his pockets and hands some to Karthik. The two then cover it with their shirts. Both then walk away after thanking the manager.

Adarsh was sat inside his cabin, his foot was finally better. It should be, after all Parineeta has been taking care of it with love.

His phone pings and he glances at it, one of his friend had sent him a video on WhatsApp. He opens it and waits for the video to load.

"He's so cool, my dad wants to sign him for an ad, all he needs to do is sing. Talk to him and let me know. Dad's like he'll give him 10 Lakh's, even 12 cause his voice attracted 10M people on YouTube." Adarsh reads to himself and arches his eyebrows confusingly, the video then loads and he presses on it.

His eyebrows rest as he shockingly stares at his phone screen, hearing and seeing Lakshya sing.

Lakshya and Karthik were walking down the roads.

"There's a dance competition. You'll win 5 Lakhs if you win."

"Dancing and me? Nah." Lakshya scoffs.

"Just give it a try or choreograph for 1 Lakhs."

"I'd rather help with choreographing." Lakshya says and Karthik sighs.

"Where are we putting the money?"

"That. . . I don't know."

"We don't even have Ragini's Daadi's bank account details." Karthik utters and Lakshya shakes his head.

"Hmm. . . I think she wants me to give it to her personally rather than transferring it to her account, we can just store it in a bag and keep it somewhere safe."

"Like?"

"Stacked in our locker. The one which is in your house. Only me, you and Nikhil know the password. That's where we can keep the money safe."

"Oh yeahh. Our locker, where we used to stock up liquors."

Lakshya and Karthik then rush to safely store the 2 Lakhs.

Up Next - Adarsh to show that video to DP. DP to scold Lakshya. Ragini to write down the truth on a letter and gives it to Navya to give it to Lakshya. . . . . . . . . . . . A week to pass and Lakshya manages to earn 15 Lakhs all together.
