"Will you tell me already?!" Nora sighed as they had walked for quite a bit to get out of reach of possible prying ears. 

Azura grinned back at her best friend with a smile that seemed to go from ear to ear. She stopped at a small creek and sat down on a log of a tree that fell down a long time ago. Nora joined her and let their hands and fingers entangle together. Azura brushed some hair out of her own face and for a moment regretted not putting her hair up as Nora had done. Nora had made a zillion small braids in her hair and it was know knotted on top of her head in a tight bun. Nora's dark brown eyes were hard to read but Azura knew she was dying to know what happened the weekend before.

"So... Turns out Charlie's folks hate me," Azura said with a smile that contrasted the message she laid out. "He had warned me about them. They don't like supernaturals so all was well and fun until Charlie casually mentioned that I'm not a regular human."

"Why would he do that?!" Nora gasped and stared at her friend in horror and shock.

Azura stared at their hands. Her pale skin contrasted heavily against the dark skin of Nora. Her pale skin contrasted heavily against every other skin type actually. Charlie had beautiful olive-colored skin and she had loved seeing the contrast between them when they laid together in bed. Her thoughts trailed off to the weekend before and she felt her cheeks flush and her heart rate pick up a little. It did not go unnoticed by Nora who started grinning like a madwoman herself.

"Oh, how I wish I was the one to make you blush like that! But I'm gonna guess that you and Charlie finally sealed the deal?" Nora chuckled and squeezed Azura's hand as her eyes beamed with joy.

"You can say that." Azura chuckled as she felt her cheeks redden some more. "He had a go at his parents and we took off not long after and stayed at a hotel for the night. Things only escalated from that part forward." 

Azura bit her lip as memories of the night before flashed through her mind. It had been simply amazing. Not unlike any of the other times she had sex before. After the night, she was convinced sex and love were two different things. Sex was just sex, but sex out of love was something completely else. 

"Stop daydreaming! The poor boy was probably desperate for some booty!" Nora laughed loudly at her own joke while Azura snarled at her.

"It's only been two weeks, Nora. TWO WEEKS since we got together so he and you should not complain! You should not complain at all anyway since me having sex has nothing to do with you anyway! The fact you and Floyd are like a bunch of rabbits doesn't mean everyone is like that. I can't even count the times I've walked in on you both sucking face on my hands anymore." Azura scoffed and stared up at the clear sky. 

Nora removed her hand and moved closer to her and let her head rest on Azura's shoulder as she wrapped her arms around the thin woman.

"Well, I'm glad you have someone to suck face with now as well instead of watching me and Floyd do it." Nora's breath caressed Azura's skin causing goosebumps and tingles wherever it touched. "What exactly happened when you guys were at his parents' place?"

Azura let out a soft hum. "They were happy and thrilled to meet me at first. Really felt like a family and Charlie's warning about his parents felt out of place at first. During dinner, the conversation was about education and eventually switched to Greenwood College and the fact both humans and non-humans attend it. His father then continued about how glad he was that Charlie found himself a decent human girlfriend to which Charlie bluntly told them that I'm not a regular human."

She paused and placed her hand on Nora's knee. "Both his parents stared at me with their mouths open and their attitude toward me shifted completely. Suddenly they looked at me as if I had a very contagious disease. His mother was too much in shock to even say anything, his dad took some time to compose himself and after got up from the table, pointed to the door and demanded me to leave."

"Please tell me you didn't!" Nora sat back upright, her eyes big with disbelief.

"No. Charlie kept me seated and calmly said they either had to accept it or that we would both leave. Well, he said a lot more actually but that was where it came down to. It got quite heated and in the end, we did leave but not after Charlie made a point by shamelessly kissing me in front of his parents. You should have seen their faces!" Azura chuckled softly.

"We were supposed to be staying there for the night," She continued after a short moment. "but after that whole fiasco, we simply left and went to a nice hotel in the neighborhood."

"Bow chicka wow wow!" Nora jumped up and pumped her fist in the air while she winked at Azura who was almost dying with laughter.

"If with that you mean we did the deed, then yes. We had sex. We fucked. We got naked, I got wet, he got an erection, we did the deed, banged our brains out in all kinds of positions till the sun almost started to rise!" Azura exclaimed while tears streamed down her face from laughing. 

Nora grinned at Azura and started making more suggestive movements with her hips and arms until both of them were laughing so hard it became hard to breathe. Nora dramatically collapsed to the ground while she tightly gripped her stomach as she rolled from side to side on her back while still laughing and almost hiccuping to gasp for air in between. Azura wiped the tears of laughter away and extended her hand to pull Nora up from the ground when they both calmed down.

"So how was he? Is his ass really as yummy as it looks in pants? Is he long, thick, does he know what to do with it? Does he know what to do with you?!" Nora clapped her hands together in excitement while Azura started to turn an even deeper shade of red than she had before.

"That's private! None of your business! I'm not asking you about those things!"

Nora shrugged and casually answered as if it was the most normal thing to do. "Well, I don't mind sharing. Floyd's d--" 

"NO! Shut your mouth, Nora! I don't want to hear it, you crazed woman!" Azura clasped her hands over her ears as she started chanting 'lalala' loudly trying to tune Nora out.

Nora started laughing again and tugged on her arms to lower them from her ears. "You're so easy to fuck with."

"Wonderful choice of words there, Nora." Playful sarcasm dripped through every word Azura said.

"I have a way with words. You know that! Now come on, it's already past noon and we have classes to attend. After that, you're going to give me all the details about your night with Charlie." As she spoke, Nora got up and extended her hand for Azura to take. The dark-skinned woman pulled Azura to her feet and they took off to the campus while continuing their talk.

"Did your parents try to contact you?" Azura casually asked as she started braiding Charlie's long hair.

"No, and I hope they don't and what are you doing with my hair?!" He swatted her away and swiftly turned around grabbing Azura by the wrist and pulled her in for a long kiss which turned some heads in the study hall they were at.

"I really can't get enough of this." He softly murmured as he held her close to him. "There's a party in my dorm tonight and I hope you'll be able to come."

Azura tensed up a bit and bit her lip as she put some distance between them. "A party? Me? I've been successfully avoiding them till now since I'm just too socially awkward. I don't know, Charlie..."

It was Friday, almost a week after they had visited his parents and he had mentioned before there was a party coming up. A party meant a lot of people in close quarters, it meant a lot of unknown faces and a lot of alcohol. Azura didn't mind the alcohol, she probably would need a lot of it herself to survive the night but she did mind the other people who would end up just as drunk as her or even worse most likely. She already hated meeting a few new people at the same time, let alone be happy and cheerful all night around a lot of people who were complete strangers to her. Theresa was going to be there, that was one familiar face besides Charlie, but Azura knew Nora was not going due to some pack business she had to be at. Secretly, Azura had wished for Andreas to call upon her as well for the pack meeting but he hadn't and she really had no excuse not to come to the party. The prospect of spending the night with Charlie was the only good thing that she could think of.

She enjoyed every moment together with him and missed him if she spent only one night apart. A feeling she had not been familiar with until now. The sex was amazing and even the times where they would just cuddle or talk had felt so good. Better than anything she had ever experienced before with prior boyfriends. Well, boyfriends might have been a big word for them. One was just good for the sex, Azura didn't even know if it even had been an official boyfriend, the other she had stayed with because she had no other place to go, or so she believed back then. Both did not compare to what she felt like now with Charlie.

"Oh, you'll be fine! Besides, you need to mingle a bit! Get to know a couple more people." he spoke as he gently brushed through her black hair with his fingers.

"Why? I'm happy the way things are." This time she swatted him away as he had done with her earlier.

Charlie smiled lovingly at her and took her hand as he guided her outside into the campus gardens. Even though it was raining they walked slowly enjoying each other's presence in silence.

"I'll come," Azura looked up at him as she spoke softly. She did not fail to notice the big smile that emerged on his face. "If, you promise to join me this Christmas at my parent's place."

It was a bold move. Christmas was still months away and their relationship was just new. Yet the question had slipped off the tongue so easily. With Charlie, it seemed as if they had been together for such a long time already she sometimes forgot it was still so young. She was comfortable around him in a way that would normally take up a to a year or longer. Nora had been the exception.

"Christmas? You sure we're still together by that time?" He teased.

She averted her eyes and after a slight pause turned back to him. "I really hope so."

"Then my answer is; yes, I promise." a wide grin spread on his face.
