Nathen pov.

It was the next day of my time at beacon and it was an odd change to say the least. Having a proper bed and sheets was nice to say the least. But it was lonely. I missed my aunt and uncle. But they had important things to do so I didn't dwell to much on being alone besides I'd have to deal with my sister and ms bitch today so that's going to be a highlight for today. I put on my tank top, cargo pants,  and combat boots before putting my arrows, bow,  and axe on my back. I then leave my room. I look at my new scroll and see its only 6:00 am. "Hmm I have quite a bit of time to train." I mutter to myself and start making my way outside to the courtyard. When I got there I set my weapons against the statutes base and start doing push ups. After about 75 of those I get up and stretch before I pick up my gear again and start running 5 laps around the school. Halfway through my final lap I see a flash from above me and I turn my head to see a rabbit faunus taking pictures from a dorm room. She saw me looking and ran off. I shrugged finished my lap and go inside. I look at the time to see its 6: 55 am. I smirked thinking new record and make my way to the cafeteria. When I got inside I saw that the cafeteria was a bit crowded. I went and grabbed some noodles with carrots, broccoli, and chicken mixed in. I pay for it and make my way over to a lone table. When I sat down I pulled out my scroll and head phones and start listening to some music. I nod my head to the beat when I felt the table move a bit. I look up to see Ruby, her team, and another team. I took out my headphones and stared expressionless.

"Hey big bro." Ruby said with a smile. "Mind if we sit here with you?"

"You may." I say and looked at them. Ruby was smiling widely, Weiss was staring me up and down, Blake was reading, and Yang didn't meet my eyes.

"Let me introduce you to team JNPR." Ruby said gesturing to the 4 I had yet to meet.

"Hey I'm Jaune Ark." The blonde boy said with confidence. "Short sweet and rolls off the tongue."

"I'm Pyrrha." A female Spartan said with a wave. She seemed slightly shy.

"I'M NORA AND I MUST SAY THAT HOW YOU KILLED THAT DEATH STALKER! I MEAN IT MADE ME FEEL THINGS! DO YOU HAVE PANCAKES?!" A orange haired girl said with adrenaline.

"Forgive her. She was really excited to meet you. I'm le Ren." A boy with black hair and a pink stripe running through it said with a humbling look.

"It is a pleasure to meet you. I have heard nothing about any of you and hope I can count on you in battle." I say emotionless. Weiss seemed to be insulted by that.

"How do you not know Pyrrha Nikos?" The heiress said irritated. "I thought only idiots like blonde over there didn't know who she was."

"I've lived in the forest for 6 years, being trained by my Aunt Artemis and Uncle Apollo. Before that I was locked in a room for the first 10 years of my life. So I had little time for current status of people." I say a bit insulted but brush it off.

"Oh...." Weiss said a bit taken back.

"Wait 10 years?" Jaune asked confused. "We're you trying to isolate yourself?"

"No. My family that I had at the time was abusive and had little love for me beside my little sister and Uncle." I explained as I saw ruby give a big grin while Yang looked completely ashamed.

"Your family at the time?" Nora asked.  "Are you an ORPHAN?!" She asked excited.

"Yes." I chuckled a bit. "My real family is in another realm at least if I was told right by my aunt and uncle." I say scratching my chin trying to remember.

"So how did you get here?" Pyrrha asked.

"I don't know. I get flashes into the past of me in the jaws of a giant snake with its head bigger than the doors." I point over to the large doors of the cafeteria. "Then the next thing I remember is seeing my little sister Ruby." I smiled and rub her head as she squirms.

"AAAAGGGHHH!" Ruby yelled as I pulled her across the table while giving her a noogie. "NOOO NOT THE NOOGIE!" I let out a hearty laugh and let her go.

"Wait she and Yang your adopted sisters?" Jaune asked wide eye as I sighed.

"Only Ruby. For now." I say as everyone got confused. "Yang has to earn the right to call me her brother again." I say looking at her. She looked up hopeful. "She's slowly getting there though. Please no more questions about it." I then start eating again when I heard a girl call out in pain.

"OW! STOP THAT HURTS!" I look up and see the same rabbit faunus girl getting her ears pulled by a jackass. I glare and pull out δικαιοσύνη. The ground at my table noticed this but stayed silent. I took aim while notching an arrow. After I got a good trajectory I let the arrow fly.

"AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHH!" I smiled as I heard that scream. I lowered δικαιοσύνη and smirked as I saw the jackass staring at his hand. My arrow went completely through the palm and was in the table. I stood up and walked over slowly. The entire cafeteria was staring at me. It was so silent that you could hear a cricket. I got to the jackass and his team. The girl was standing off to the side. "WHAT THE FUCK'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" jackass yelled.

"You should be asking yourself that. Why are you hurting her?" I was right in his face and was slightly pushing on the arrow making it go deeper.

"BECAUSE SHE'S A FAUNUS FRE-AAAAAGGGHHH!" I slammed the arrow making his hand bleed more. I glare at his team before they could do anything.

"If I ever catch you hurting her or anyone else I'll aim for something that every guy never wants to lose." I smirked ripping the arrow through his hand. I turned and walked back to my table when I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I looked back to see the rabbit girl with a blush.

"Thank you." She said with a blush. I smiled slightly and nodded my head. "I'm velvet."

"Nathen Spartan." I said back. "I hope you have a good day madam." I continue back to my table as everyone stared at me. "Yes?" I asked and in an instant everyone went back to whatever they were doing. I looked at the group at my table.

"Wow. That was amazing!" Nora said. "How are you so scary?"

"Heritage." I smirked and continue to eat.
