Ruby POV
I walked up to the door and knocked on it, Imani answered with an expressionless look.
Imani: Hi Ruby....I'm sorry about your loss but I can't be your replacement.
Ruby: no no, nothing like that....I just wanted to know if you wanted to help.
Imani: help with what?
Ruby: putting a stop to the Indoraptor.
Imani: I can't use any weapons like you and my transformation will give us away....I don't know if I can.
Ruby: Imani please, if anyone has a chance of putting Y/N back to normal it's you. You two broke out of that ring together.
Imani: now he's a ravenous killer.....but....I guess I'll help.
Ruby: thank you.
Imani: you owe me big time, I hope you know that.
Ruby: I know I do.
Imani walked out of the dorm and closed the door. They saw a Bullhead about to take off.
Ruby: that's our ride, come on.
Yang was on the scroll with Blake.
Yang: you want to go to the same lab they found his father?!
Blake: The Whitefang know that place very well, compared to anyone else atleast, we need to lure Y/N though.
Yang: I truly hope everything works out with this.
Blake: it will, Adam may have plenty of reprimands, he's still great with tactics. He's also honest, he won't double cross anyone no matter the amount of money paid.
Yang: well that's nice I guess.
Ruby: you guys ready?
Yang: yeah.
Yang hung up on the scroll and went into the Bullhead.
Yang: any stops before we get to the lab?
Pilot: only one, I need to pick up a team, wounded during a fight.
Yang: which team?
Pilot: JNPR
Ruby's eyes widened.
Ruby: we need to hurry.
The Bullhead took off and Ozpin watched from his office. Glynda walked in and leaned against his wall.
Glynda: you're staring again, what's going on this time?
Ozpin: just thinking.....Glynda.
Glynda: what is it?
Ozpin: prepare the medical bay, I know someone is going to get hurt....I just hope not permanent.
Glynda: of course, want me to grab your dry cleaning to?
Ozpin: please.
Glynda threw her riding crop at Ozpin and walked out the elevator and went down.
Meanwhile.
Blake walked with Jacob through the lab.
Jacob: what's the matter child?
Blake: I'm just hoping we can save Y/N....
Jacob: I hope so to. The boy likes you a lot, everyday when he got home we would always talk about you....it was hard not seeing him for the first few weeks after he was taken.
Something ran across the ground in front of them.
Blake: what was that?!
Jabob's eyes became reptilian and he snarled.
Jacob: who's there?!
From the shadows a rat ran out and looked at Blake and Jacob.
Jacob: oh....it's only Steven.
Blake: Steven?
Jacob: yeah, he's a rat.
They continued walking ahead and went into a containment field, a massive building stood in the center of a grassy field.
Jacob: right there, one way in for Dinosaurs, no way out, plenty of ways for humans and Faunus alike.
Blake: are you sure?
Jacob: it's how it was designed.
Timeskip two hours.
The white fang set up their weapons and got into spots that hid them. They also hid their scents, leaving no trace of them anywhere.
Adam: Blake, I have an idea on how to lure him, but you won't like it.
Blake: how.
He pointed to Ruby who sat on one of the crates, thinking about team JNPR.
Adam: you mentioned she had a speed semblance, what if she went out a few meters from the facility and ran in as she saw it.
Blake: I'll talk to her about it.
Blake walked over to Ruby and sat down.
Blake: there's no easy way to say this....but you're live bait.
Ruby: we saw how much faster that thing is than me.
Blake: that was a straight away, the facility has a lot of turns, if you can make sharp turns then you're set.
Ruby: *sarcastic* gee, that makes me feel so much better.
Blake: if you don't mind me asking. Why is Imani here?
Ruby: she's plan D.
Blake: you don't think this will work?
Ruby: there's a large chance that it won't, that's why we have to bring one of the few things that can possibly hurt Y/N....if it comes to that.
Blake: I hope it doesn't.
Ruby stood up and breathed out.
Ruby: lets do this.
Adam: White Fang! Final positions, make sure you know every exit, make sure you hide your scents, we only have one shot at this.
White Fang: Yes Sir!
