Of all the places your first kiss with Ningguang could happen, it happens in front of baskin robbins, as you catch her stealing glances at your lips while you rambled about how much you loved Cookies ‘n cream.

You notice and smile, “Kiss me,” and it catches her off guard.

“H-huh?” Ningguang stutters a little, eyes wide open as a bright shade of red slowly paints her ears. She shyly tears his gaze from yours, intent to look anywhere but into your eyes. 

“Yes,” you feel a small chuckle bubble up inside as you try (keyword: try)  to give the white haired female a reassuring smile..

Ningguang looks at you, bewildered, for a moment– and looks down at the cup of ice cream she’s holding. Mint chocolate.

Shit, you hated mint chocolate. And she wasn't going to kiss you tasting like, according to what you claimed to taste like toothpaste.

And so, she stammers again- tripping over her words and feelings alike. “But I just had-” ningguang opens her mouth to reason.

“Well, a little mint chocolate won't hurt,” you shrug off her doubts like specks of dust off your shirt, and stretch your free hand out for the latter to take.

“So,” you shoot her a smile, to which she responds with one so warm–that you can’t help but melt into. “Won’t you do the honour?”

And surprisingly, she does.

Ningguang leans forward,her lips meeting yours in a soft kiss. It was a little sloppy, maybe a little rushed. But it gave you butterflies, and you couldn't help but smile against the lip pressed against yours.

Your mouth tastes nothing but sweet against hers, cookies 'n cream working their magic while hers felt refreshing against yours, mint chocolate working theirs. 

After what seemed like ages, you pull away-- with the softest chu. Breathing heavily, lips a little bitten from the kiss.

“So?” ningguang smiles through small huffs, infecting you with it as well. You carefully reach out to touch his rosy cheeks and pull his face a little bit closer, a mischievous grin playing on your lips.

"I still stand by the fact that mint chocolate tastes like toothpaste."
