025 ↠ Everyone likes Keanu Reeves!

Ophelia Verona is tired. She's been out all day with the Avengers showing them around and taking them to some hidden spots where tourists don't usually go. She took them to her favorite gelato place and Clint was extremely happy. A lot of pictures were taken, memories were formed, and they all laughed their asses off when Vision was startled by a cat and fell flat on his ass on the sidewalk.

Everyone is back in 'house of Viari' as Cass called it, and relaxing from their day, maybe still fighting off a little jet lag. Ophelia slowly climbed the stairs to the second floor of the house, she felt a sudden rush of wind on her right side and when she reached the top of the stairs her eyes landed on Pietro who's smiling and waiting for her.

"Hello" he smiled.

"Uh, hi" she replied without emotion and walked right past him and turned left down the hall. Pietro was by her side in a blink and walked with her. "Why are you following me?"

"I'm not following you. I'm going to my room. It's next to yours, remember?" He smirked.

Ophelia muttered something in Italian. "Don't take this as an invitation to talk to me"

"Oh, so I can sing to you then?"

"Don't sing to me" she shook her head.

Pietro huffed and walked in silence. He looked around the hallway, large paintings to his left and windows on his right, some statues sporadically along the wall. Some windows are larger than others and have seats on the wall for reading by the window. The sun is low so everything in the hall is under an orange light. This is so, so, so dramatically different than Pietro's upbringing. Romeo was right, her house is a castle without towers.

"Did you really grow up here? In this house?" Pietro curiously asked.

"Yes" Ophelia nodded. She looked around the hallway and exhaled. "God, it was boring here"

"Boring?" Pietro asked incredulously. "Your house is amazing!"

"If you say so" she shrugged.

"I know so. I'm going to show you how not boring your house is by giving you a tour" Pietro smiled.

Ophelia stopped in her tracks and stared at Pietro, eyebrows raised in question. "You're going to give me a tour of my house" she repeated.

"Yes" he nodded.

"A tour of my home. You. A newcomer with no idea of the history of the house or what rooms are what?" She inquired with a smirk. Pietro nodded again.

"From this moment on, I'll be the tour guide and you the tourist. And everything I say is absolutely 100% true." Pietro bounced on the heels of his feet.

Ophelia believes this is some kind of ruse so he can talk to her and annoy her with the great possibility of him flirting with her. He's been trying to do just that since they were at the tower and Vision came to life, but she immediately shut him down and is still doing it. Ophelia weighed these possibilities in her head but she really wants to see how Pietro will pull this off.

"Okay," Ophelia nodded. "Everything I know about the house and its contents has been erased from my mind"

Pietro smiled and nodded. Then his smile quickly fell and his eyes widened slightly. "Wait, what if I have questions? You said there are things we shouldn't touch"

"I don't know anything about it, I'm just a simple tourist" Ophelia shrugged. Pietro pursed his lips and frowned slightly but said nothing.

"Alright, we start our tour here in the hallway of..." Pietro glanced up and down the hallway as he tried to come up for a name. "paintings and statues. This painting here" he walked to a large painting of a woman in a long white dress, brown hair pulled up, flowers in her hair and she's sitting in a beautiful garden under the shade of a tree. There's a fountain in the background, flowers of all colors, a blue sky and small birds. "is of a woman named Elsa sitting in her garden. She used to live in this house back in 19...03. She got sick and died. Some people say they've seen her ghost roaming these halls at night"

"So this place is haunted?" Ophelia asked.

"It is" Pietro nodded. "If you follow me please, we have many things to see" he motioned to Ophelia to follow him and she did just that. They began to walk the opposite way.

"I have a question about the house" Ophelia told Pietro.

"What's your question, miss?" He glanced over at her.

"When was it built?"

"Ah. It was built in 1414. The head of the house at that time was Giovanni... Di...Caprio"

"Like the actor?" Ophelia inquired.

"Yes, but no relation" Pietro nodded. "In 1447 his granddaughter married into one of the most influential families in Florence, the Medici family"

"Oh crap!" Ophelia moaned and threw her head back. "You've been talking to Romeo, haven't you?" She stopped playing for a minute, being totally serious at that moment. "Romeo has this wild theory that my family is connected to the Medici family. Their house is two blocks from here and yes, back in the day our families knew each other but we're not related by blood or marriage"

"Romeo is one of our tour guides and like I said before, everything I say is 100% true." Pietro said never breaking character. Ophelia huffed and bit her tongue. Romeo and his wild theories. That's why his last name is Wilde. He's as wild as his name. Something he told Nick Fury and Maria Hill when he met them.

They stopped in front of Tristan's room where Pietro began to tell Ophelia about a statue just outside the closed door. He gave her an exaggerated story of how that statue was made by Michelangelo as a birthday gift for the head of the house at that time. He was in the middle of his story when they heard voices from behind the door. He stopped talking and slowly turned around to face the close door. Ophelia did the same and they stood in silence.

It's not the fact that they're hearing voices coming from Tristan's room odd. It's the fact that aside from his voice they also caught a female laugh. Does he have a lady friend in there? Ophelia knows that Tristan doesn't have a girlfriend back home, but does he have a girlfriend in Florence? A long distance relationship? And if so, why didn't he mention it before? The woman in the room spoke softly and this took the pair standing outside by surprise.

"Isn't Natasha's room the one on the right? What's she doing in there?" Pietro asked in a whisper.

"They literally just met like two days ago. What the hell?" Ophelia whispered.

"Well, there is such a thing as instant attraction" Pietro smirked and leaned against the wall.

"I can't believe this" Ophelia whispered and ignored what Pietro said. "Tristan and Natasha? This can't work. He's a detective and she's a former assassin. She's called Black Widow for a reason!" She hissed.

"Calm down, they're going to hear you" Pietro said in a harsh whisper. Ophelia was about to say something but shuffling was heard behind the door and the doorknob wiggled as someone tried to open the door.

Panic coursed through Ophelia's veins and she took a step back. What is she gonna do? What is she going to tell Tristan after he catches her and Pietro spying on him and Natasha? But before the door even swung open, Pietro picked up Ophelia, who let out a yelp in surprise, and before she could process what happened, she was standing in the middle of a hallway on the third floor of the house. One floor above Tristan's room.

Pietro set Ophelia down and she nearly lost her footing. He caught her in time and she reached for the window seat. He helped her to the seat and she pressed her back against the stone wall.

"My head is spinning" she closed her eyes and placed her hand on her forehead.

"That's normal" Pietro told her. "You'll be fine"

She scoffed and rolled her head against the wall. "Do you feel like this after you run?"

"No" Pietro shook his head. "Wanda did at the start but not anymore"

Pietro sat down on the other end of the window seat and stared at a tapestry hanging on the wall. Ophelia dropped her hand and opened her eyes and stared at the man sitting across from her. "You tell no one about what we heard. No one!"

"Our first secret" Pietro grinned.

"Oh God" she mumbled with a roll of her eyes. "Okay, this is where I leave you. The tour was great by the way" she stood up but felt a little lightheaded.

"No, we still have much to see!" Pietro jumped up, his white hair bouncing when he moves. "Like this room" he motioned to the closed door across from them. "This room holds secrets and mysterious artifacts." He zoomed to the door and turned the doorknob, gently pushing the door open. "Some say the secrets of the universe are in this room, contained in simple books and crystal balls"

Pietro flicked the light on and stared into the room. There's a bed, bookshelves and piles of books on the floor. Posters on the walls, little airplanes hanging from the ceiling, and there's a faint smell of oranges. The room looks organized but slightly messy at the same time. Sign that someone has obviously lived in that room.

"Okay, so there might not be crystal balls but the airplanes come to life at night" Pietro looked over his shoulder with a smile. But Ophelia isn't smiling. She's staring into the room with dark eyes and a grim expression.

"The only secret in this room is the art of vanishing" she coolly said.

"Huh?"

"This is my brother's room. Ben" she informed.

"I forgot you have a brother" Pietro softly spoke.

"Yeah. But he left six years ago and hasn't returned. Doesn't even call"

"Oh" he looked down. "Does– does this mean the tour over?" He looked up at Ophelia.

She shrugged. "You're the one giving the tour"

Pietro smirked, placed his arm on the door frame and leaned his head in his hand. "I knew you would like to spend time with me. Who wouldn't?"

"Okay. The tour is done. Over. And by the way, the woman in the painting– her name is Bianca and she's my 5 times great-grandmother" Ophelia informed before turning on her heel and walking away. "2 out of 5 stars! Information highly erroneous! Would not recommend to a friend. Maybe to someone I don't like"

The Barton children and the young Novello children, Fenton and Emilia, became quick friends in less than 24 hours. The kids were in and out of rooms, running around the gardens, laughter and yelling bounced off the walls of the house. They didn't stay in one room for long so it was blink and you miss them.

Ophelia saw them running around, laughing and talking so fast she could barely understand what they were saying. She wondered how the kids became friends so fast, she doesn't consider herself a friendly person, she was homeschooled, no friends there only her annoying siblings and on occasion annoying cousins. Sure she got to know people living and or working around the area, same as the vineyard and lake house, but she didn't have friends her age, not until she met Romeo that eventful day in New York. Then it was Wade and now...even though she's still fighting it, the Avengers are, dare she even think about it...friends? Maybe acquaintances.

But how did those kids become friends so fast? She doesn't think she'll ever know but they're having fun and that's what matters. It's only time before the ghost loving kids pull out a ouija board and mess with things they shouldn't.

Ophelia saw Lila and Emilia just ahead of her, whispering to one another. They turned a corner to the large living room, and since she's also headed that direction, she entered the room seconds after the girls did.

"Rosaline!" Romeo exclaimed. Ophelia saw Romeo jump up from his spot on the couch and run to the young woman standing under the doorway on the other side of the room.

"Romeo!" Rosaline matched his happy tone and they shared a hug.

"Wait" Steve, who's sitting on the floor building a puzzle with Juliet, straightened his back and look between, Juliet, Romeo and Rosaline. "In the play, isn't Rosaline the girl Romeo was deeply in love with but she didn't even know he was alive? And then he and Juliet fell deeply in love and they both died"

"Yup. Pretty much sums up the whole play" Bruce nodded.

"Is– is this what's happening right now?" Clint looked between the young adults. "Romeo loves Rosaline but also secretly in love with Juliet?"

"No" Juliet shook her head, a puzzle piece in her hand. "Romeo Dorian isn't my type"

"And TJ is like a little sister" Romeo added, arm still around Rosaline.

"You know, you guys are named after Shakespearean characters, bring a little excitement in your life!" Clint said.

"They all die!" Ophelia interjected.

"Excitement" he eagerly nodded.

"Oh, oh, guys. This is Rosaline. Rosaline, meet the Avengers." Romeo introduced.

"Hi" she waved and they all waved back.

"Hello there!" Pietro flirtatiously said from an armchair he's sitting and playing with a rubik's cube. Ophelia rolled her eyes. Does he flirt with every woman he meets?

"Her family owns a sandwich place where they sell the best sandwiches in the city. The sandwiches are as big as my face. They're great" Romeo began to get hungry at the thought of the delicious sandwiches.

"Our sandwiches are really great" Rosaline nodded. "That's why I brought some for all of you" she held up a large paper bag and Romeo gasped. She set the bag on the table, right on top of the ban in puzzle Steve and Juliet are working on. "My zio and I made them and we brought them over–"

"Your zio's here?" Ophelia stood straight and the corner of her mouth twitched.

"He's with your grandparents–"

"Okay" she didn't let Rosaline finish the sentence before she turned on her heel and walked out the room.

"What just happened?" Laura Barton curiously asked.

Romeo, Juliet and Rosaline shared a look between them, silently asking who will be the one to tell them what was all that about. Juliet and Rosaline stared at Romeo until he caved in and he sighed. "Fine. Geez, you two are persistent. Uh, well, you see, Philly is 23-years-old and uh...ah, there's no other way to say this. She has a thing for older men. She's had a thing for Rosaline's uncle since she was 17"

"What?" The room was one collective gasp, aside from Lila and Emilia who are coloring in a corner not really interested in what the adults are talking about.

"I know, it's...I don't know" Romeo shrugged.

"How much older are these men?" Pietro inquired.

"Well, she's still salty about George Clooney being married. So I'd say much older" Romeo nodded.

"George Clooney? Even Nat was upset about that" Clint informed.

"What did you say Clinton?" Natasha entered the room, Tristan and Cass right behind her. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared at Clint waiting for him to answer. Clint gave a small gasp, he didn't expect for Natasha to hear that. He scooted closer to Laura, hoping that she would come to his aid.

"He said that you were upset when a man named George Clooney got married" Thor spoke up.

Natasha pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes at Clint. She can't believe she's been exposed like that. She softened her face and dropped her arms to her sides. "Only a little" she admitted.

"Really?" Cass scrunched his nose. "George Clooney? I kinda like Christian Bale or Keanu Reeves"

"Everyone likes Keanu Reeves!" Wanda chimed in.

"Tom Hardy" Tristan added.

"Everyone likes Tom Hardy!" she exclaimed again. People murmured their agreements.

"Brad Pitt" Minnie spoke up. Everyone jumped at her voice and turned to her where she's sitting on the couch behind Juliet. She has her legs pulled up on the couch and she's on her phone. Minnie has been so quiet they didn't even know she was there.

"Have you been there the whole time?" Juliet asked her cousin. She nodded. "I didn't even know" she quietly mumbled the last part and turned back to what she could see of the puzzle.

"Does everyone in this family have a thing for older men?!" Romeo exclaimed in disbelief. He threw his arms in the air and let them fall to his sides.

Juliet slowly raised her hand just above her head. "I don't have a thing for older men"

"Oh please, your parents should've named you Sappho" Romeo scoffed.

She lowered her hand and nodded. "Well there is some Greek in our family, but yes. Ah, but there was Giacomo Deluca. I was 13. He was my first kiss. Then I met his cousin, Caterina. I knew right then I liked her way more than I liked him" she fondly remembered with a small smile on her face. She twirled a puzzle piece in her fingers and sighed.

"Oh, so when you said that Romeo isn't your type, he really isn't your type" Tony mused. Juliet nodded and peaked into the sandwich bag.

The sandwiches were pulled out of the bag and quickly people began to claim them. A couple moments later after everyone got a sandwich and are sitting somewhere in the room, Bruce noticed someone is missing.

"Uh, guys, where's Vision?" He asked the group.

"Oh, he's with Fenton and Cooper. They're in Narnia" Cass informed.

"What?" Clint deadpanned. "Narnia?"

"They're fine. They're with Mr. Tumnus"

"I went to Wonderland with Emilia and Minnie" Lila chimed in. Her parents looked over at her in question.

"Wonderland?" Laura asked.

"Mhm" the girl nodded. "We had tea with the Mad Hatter and The March Hare"

"You mean you went to the actual Wonderland from Alice in Wonderland?" Laura gasped.

"It's my very merry unbirthday" she innocently said.

"How do you go to Wonderland and Narnia? Do you jump into the book? Recite a magic spell?" Clint questioned.

"Alice goes to Wonderland by crawling in a hole in a tree. And you get to Narnia by a wardrobe" Minnie informed.

"And the way to Hogwarts is through the platform 9 3/4" Romeo sweetly smiled.

They didn't need to say more for they all understood what the Silvertongues meant. Somewhere in the house there's a wardrobe that leads to Narnia, a tree in the garden with a hole, and a magic wall that leads you to platform 9 3/4.

Pietro gasped and smiled small. "This house is amazing"
