The first time Ophelia met Nick Fury and Maria Hill was a couple weeks after the New York incident. They wanted to know more about her, about what she can do. They ran a background check on her but didn't find anything out of the ordinary, only that she was homeschooled from the age of 12. Other than that, she's had a pretty normal life, well they assumed it was normal, Ophelia says otherwise.

They had come knocking at the door of Ophelia's apartment, and after the introductions, they told the young woman what they're doing there. Ophelia denied everything, but they had it in video. She mentally cursed herself for getting caught like that. If a supergroup of spies caught her on tape, then who knows who else saw her. But the thing she didn't see in the video was Romeo. He was probably ducking behind the pillars so he wouldn't get hit by what was flying around.

Ophelia couldn't deny it after they showed her the video, but she told them straight up that she won't join them. She didn't hear from them again until she received a call from D.C. They needed her help, they were in trouble and could really use her help. She said no and hung up.

People say 'third time's the charm', maybe now she'll be up to help them.

Romeo sat on the armrest of the couch as he listened to Ophelia explain how she knows the two people that entered their home. She doesn't understand why they're there. If she flat out told them the first two times that she won't join them, what makes them think a third time will do?

They must be truly desperate. She thought. Or they won't give up until I say yes.

Once she was done talking, she sighed and glanced over at Fury who didn't stop pounding his fist on the door until Ophelia left her room.

"Where was I during all this?" Romeo questioned.

"Really? Is that all you got from what I just told you?" Ophelia crossed her arms and stared at her roommate.

"Again, who are you?" Agent Hill asked the young man "you said you live here, there's nothing about you in the file"

"You have a file on Ophelia? Stalkers" Romeo muttered.

"Should I ask what you're doing here? Or..." Ophelia asked the two people in the room.

"We need your help" Fury began.

"I knew it" Ophelia scoffed and glanced down at the ground "no" she shook her head.

"How many times are you going to keep saying no?" Hill asked.

"Until it gets through your heads that I'm not helping you!" She glared at the woman.

"Well this time we aren't asking" Fury informed.

"Really? Is that how you recruited those idiots that are on the news almost every week?" Ophelia asked.

"Basically. Yes" he nodded.

"Well I don't want to be one of those idiots. I have my own problems to deal with" she told them.

"You don't seem to understand the problem at hand" Hill stepped closer to Ophelia.

"No, you don't seem to understand" Ophelia stood her ground "I said no the first two times. No means no. Did they not teach you that in spy school? No, of course not" she scoffed "They taught you how to keep annoying people until they do what you want them to do. I don't want to be part of your stupid superhero group. They got in trouble? Boo-hoo! That's their problem, not mine. Why should I let you pull me in only for you to make me clean up their mess? I don't know them, and honestly, I don't want to. I have enough problems in my life as it is. So I want you– both of you, to leave. Delete my number. Forget about me. I don't do that anymore. The incident was a one time thing. You want another Silvertongue, go out there and look for one! Just leave me alone!" She shouted at Fury and Hill.

Romeo was shocked. He's never seen Ophelia like that. He knows she hates being a Silvertongue, but he never knew her hatred went so deep that she refuses to help the Avengers on what he can only assume is saving the world... again.

But she does have a point, that group is always getting in trouble and he doesn't think its fair that they pull Ophelia into their problems when she has problems of her own. Maybe it's them and not her since he's been helping her for a couple years now.

"We don't have time to be looking for other... Silvertongue? Is that why you call yourselves?" Fury asked "look, this is a matter of life or death. This goes beyond New York, this goes global. That group needs help and with your skills, you can provide that help"

Ophelia has her arms crossed and she bit the inside of her cheek and stayed quiet.

"What did they do?" Romeo asked.

"Let's just say the robot uprising is happening now" Hill informed.

"Really? They created murder bots? Have they not seen a show called, oh I don't know, Westworld?! Or any robot movie in existence?!" Romeo exclaimed.

"His name is Ultron and he escaped last night, but not before he put up a fight and said that he wanted to kill us all. Actually, he said he wanted us extinct" Hill told the young adults.

"What made him get to that conclusion?" Romeo asked.

"He got on the internet"

"Well that explains it" he nodded.

"That's why we came. We were hoping you could help with this" Fury said more calmly.

Ophelia took in a deep breath and kept her arms crossed. The topic of robots taking over the earth has always been famous. Many movies, books, and tv shows have been created due to that topic. She always wondered if one day robots would actually take over the earth, and if they did, she always assumed it would start with the Roombas.

But now that she knows that there's a murder bot on the loose, Westworld might come true.

"You should've kept a closer eye on them" she told Fury before heading to the kitchen.

"Is that all you have to say?" He asked loudly.

"What do you want me to do?" She yelled from the kitchen "how do you stop robots?"

"Throw water at them?" Romeo offered.

"Again, who are you?" Hill asked Romeo.

"I'm Romeo Dorian Wilde" he introduced himself "and I'm just as wild as my name sounds!" He cackled and shimmied.

"You're embarrassing, Roo" Ophelia walked out of the kitchen with an apple.

"I'm also Ophelia's apprentice" he added.

"Apprentice?" Fury and Hill questioned.

"You idiot" Ophelia groaned. She can't believe he just did that. She wants the two Agents to get out and search for another Silvertongue but now that Romeo exposed himself, they might take him instead.

"You can do what she does?" Hill asked the young man.

"No! You are not taking him!" Ophelia intervened.

"I don't think we can. You look underage" Hill told Romeo as she stared at his babyface.

"I'm not underage. I just have a babyface" he smiled.

Fury and Hill turned to Ophelia, silently asking for confirmation.

"It's true" she nodded.

"Great. We can take you both. Two are stronger than one, and Ultron is working fast. He could have an army right now" Hill said.

"No!" Ophelia firmly said.

"I don't wanna die at the hands of a murder bot" Romeo rubbed the back of his neck.

"Do you need books or can you use a tablet?" Fury asked them, ignoring their comments "whatever you need, Hill will make sure to get it for you"

"We need better internet" Romeo told Hill.

"Not about that" Hill shook her head "do you need to be holding an actual book or can you use a tablet?"

"It doesn't really matter. As long as its a story it'll work" Romeo told her.

Hill and Fury began to make arrangements and Ophelia stood in shock, the apple still in her hand. She can't believe it's actually happening, they finally got her even after she snapped at them. If she were them, she would've taken the first hint and stayed away, but they're determined.

"Okay, let's go" Fury turned to them.

"Now?" They asked.

"Ultron isn't going to wait. He's moving now and the faster you meet the Avengers the better"

"You told them about us?" Romeo asked.

"Yes. Now let's go" she urged.

"I'm not reading!" Ophelia shook her head.

"I just don't know at all" Romeo shook his head.

"Move it!" Fury yelled "I have somewhere to go!"

"Then go. No one is forcing you to stay" Ophelia took a bite from the apple.

"Verona, I swear" Fury began.

The brunette could see that they're both irritated and that they genuinely do need their help. She doesn't read anymore. Not even when she was teaching Romeo. She just showed him the techniques but she never read. She hasn't read since the incident and she'd like to keep it that way. But the world is in danger and she can't keep looking for him if humanity is gone.

"Fine" Ophelia gave in "we'll go but I won't read. If Romeo wants to read then that's on him"

"I actually still have trouble with some things" Romeo admitted.

"I know. That's why I'm going. I can't let you go to a high-stress place and read something. You still get flashes from the incident" Ophelia told him.

"I really thought I was going to die"

"Fine" Fury agreed with them.

"One more thing, I get to bring someone" Ophelia quickly added.

"Who?" They asked.

"Don't worry about it" she told them.

"I feel like I should worry" Fury commented "five minutes. Get what you need and meet us outside" him and Hill exited the apartment, leaving Ophelia and Romeo behind.

"Do you think we'll meet Thor?" Ophelia asked Romeo.

"The chances are high" he nodded.

"Let me get my polaroid"
