Aagshka Sorry for not updating in centuries- Updates will probably take a fat bit due to ✨demotivation✨ :'D

This AU is centered around the idea of Rainbow being split into five parts like in the beginning of The Steve Saga. Except, when they're split, they're like little kids, and each have features from Rainbow and little features indicating that they were clearly once a part of Rainbow.

How they came into existence: This takes place in the Rainbow Town, which will not be utterly obliterated in this AU, after a huge fight between Rainbow and Nightmare. Nightmare had created an item that would allow him to defeat Rainbow by splitting him into different items and sending those items away. Each split was not supposed to be sentient, but of course for plot reasons, those items turned out to be little Steves, and ended up not too far from the Rainbow Town.

Here, I'll do a little explanation on each young Steve. (They're all gonna be eight because I say so) ((Also their powers aren't developed yet so they're mostly harmless))

Red Steve - He's a short little feisty guy, who is of course obsessed with redstone. He likes to bite things and people (rip Sabre), and just now I've decided to name him Scarlet because yes. His hair is scruffy and a vibrant red, and he has little rainbowy streaks in his hair. One of his eyes is red, the other iris a rainbow hue to reflect Rainbow's eyes. He has the same tan skin color I HC Rainbow with.

Yellow Steve - He's relatively tall for his age, and he's a speedy boi. He really likes gold, of course, and his hobbies include running, running, sleeping, running, and did I mention running? His name shall be Levin (medieval word for lightning). His hair is short and fluffy, and he has rainbow streaks like Scarlet does. He has a yellow eye and a rainbow eye, and his skin color is also the same as Rainbow's. 

Green Steve - Wholesome little naturey guy, who loves plants and flowers. Just like the other Green Steves, he's attracted to emerald blocks, and his name shall be Envy, and even though that could be considered a negative term, I find it a quite nice color. Same skin color, same eye type, green and rainbow, this time, and his hair is straightened out to his shoulders with rainbow streaks. 

Blue Steve - Despite being the same age as everyone else, he's the most mature and intelligent of the five due to his color traits. He likes lapis lazuli as Blue Steves do, and his name is Flood, and speaking of flood, he enjoys flooding people with information of things he loves, which is how he got his name. Same skin color, blue/rainbow eyes. His hair is long and wavy, and is often put in a ponytail, and of course has the rainbows in there. 

Purple Steve - Shy bebe, loveable bebe, smol bebe, I love him so much- He rather likes purpur blocks, and is seen running around with purple stickers and dye sometimes to make things purple, for example his brothers. His name is Varien, which I adapted from the word Clavaria, a purple coral type. His skin color is ever so slightly paler from wanting to stay in the shade or inside all the time. His eyes are purple and rainbow, and his hair is shoulder length and extra wavy, but not curly, with the rainbow streaks.

So yeah, pretty sure Sabre and Lucas have fun trying to keep up with the chaos that was created from Rainbow. Of course they miss their friend, and of course they want him back, but they don't have the heart(s) to merge the sentient Steve children back into one being. The young Steves have Rainbow's energy, so rip have fun dealing with that lol
