*RD's pov*
I woke drowsily. "Soarin?" I called. No answer, he must be at practice, I wish I could practice with him. Heck, I'd probably kick his tail in a race or two! I stood up, stumbling a little. The extra weight, I didn't think a foal could weigh so much! I walked to the kitchen. "Nothing." I sighed. I heard somepony use the door. I turned to see who it was.

*narrative/third pony pov*
"Soarin!" Rainbow croaked. Soarin laughed a little.
"Did I scare you?" Soarin asked with a mischievous smirk.
"No..." Rainbow trailed. Soarin snorted. "Sure." Rainbow smiled. Rainbow Dash walked over to Soarin. "Can we get an ultrasound done?" She asked. "Sure Dash, I'd love to see our foal." Soarin smiled happily.

Soarin and Rainbow walked into the office. The doors swung behind them as they trotted to the desk. The Rose colored mare nodded and showed them to the waiting room. They waited for 30 long minutes, at least that's what Rainbow thinks. A yellow unicorn with a yellow and brown mane walked in. Dash instantly recognized her. "Hello Trinket Wish!" Dash said. Wish was the pony that did Zombie's ultrasound, she was also Zombie's mom! "Rainbow, I can't believe it, your already going to have a foal!" She shouted. "Glitter Dash must be happy to be a grandmother!" Rainbow's smile dropped. "My mother died from cancer six months ago." Rainbow said. Wish looked baffled. "I'm so sorry dear, Zombie never told me, I... I..." Rainbow interrupted. "Its Ok, you didn't know." She said. Wish smiled and brought the couple in a room. Rainbow lied on the bed and Wish put the gel on Rainbow's stomach. The screen showed a bunch of grey motion. Rainbow didn't understand it, but wish did. "Do you want it to be a surprise or not?" Wish asked. "Can you make it a surprise?" Rainbow asked. "Sure, hold on and let me put the color in the folder, pink means filly, blue means colt. Remember ok. She said and handed Rainbow the card. "You have two months before you have the foal." Wish reminded them. Rainbow and Soarin nodded.

Soarin and Rainbow walked to the foal shower, they we're super excited to find out what their foal was. The finally got to Sugar Cube Corner. All the girls were waiting, and some wonder bolts too. "Ok guys, now that we are here we are going to see if we have a filly or a colt." Rainbow announced. Pinkie cheered. "It is a...." Rainbow opened the folder and three papers fell out. "1...2...3? Three foals?!" Rainbow yelled/asked. "I though I was only having one!" Everypony laughed and cheered. "Wait guys, there is one colt and two fillies." She said. The ponies cheered even louder. What have I gotten my self into? Rainbow asked herself.

The next nights were uncomfortable for Rainbow, her stomach was swollen and a back hurt from carrying the weight. Rainbow was due in one month. She didn't think she could carry them for a whole other month. More pain, more cramps. Rainbow wanted to yell but Soarin was sound asleep next to her. They haven't even gotten married yet. Rainbow wondered if Soarin really wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. Rainbow sighed. Soarin blinked his eyes open. "Rainbow, can you sleep?" He asked. "No." She said. Soarin frowned. Soarin grabbed Rainbow in a hug and they snuggled. "Ill help Rainbow."  He said. Their fur brushing, it was calming Rainbow down a little, at least her stomach couldn't get in front of this.
