All four of us just stood there in awe, not believing how a huge forest could fit underneath a little shack.
"What is this place?" Jack asked.
Again we got no answer because Seth and Sara started walking off into the trees and again we followed them, ducking under branches and leaves and such, having no idea where we were going but Seth and Sara seemed to have some idea, because they just followed Seth's beeping device.

Finally Seth stopped in front of some glowing, blue, slimy looking...something.
His device went crazy.
"Sara! It's here!" He cried and Sara came running from where she and Jack were standing.
She came up to the ball of glowing goo and took off some sort of necklace that looked like a futuristic arrow. She placed it on top of the goo and pressed a button, making it light up. Then she inserted her hand into the goo and various squishing sounds protruded from it.
Finally, she pulled out a black device and both of them smiled with excitement.
"What is it?" I asked.
"This is what we came for Emily Bruno." Sara said, smiling.
"Is anyone else looking for it?" Jack asked and both siblings looked up at him, "Say the person who trashed everything upstairs?" He continued.
Seth nodded, "We think so. It is very valuable. Which is why it is vital we locate it first." He said.
"What makes you so sure that whoever else is looking for it, isn't still looking for it?" Jack asked and Seth looked at him confused.

Suddenly a loud BANG rang through the trees and we all whipped toward the sound. Another BANG rang out and we all crouched slightly.
Jack looked at us and raised his finger to his lips, indicating for us to be quiet. Slowly we turned and started to head away from the sound into the bushes and stopped. Jack went in front of us, his block of wood ready. Heavy footsteps came from in front and behind us. Seth, Sara and I turned towards the back, trying to see what was making the noise through the leaves. I started breathing heavily, scared out of my wits.
Suddenly the leaves started rustling like crazy and the thing began coming closer.
"Run!! Run!! Run!!!" Jack shouted and we obeyed, sprinting through the bushes, back in the direction of the basement.

Seth, Sara and I ran but Jack stopped and tried to hit the thing with his block of wood.
The black covered person punched him in the face and he went flying.
"Ugh!" He cried, causing me to stop running.
"Jack!!" I yelled and was about to run back to try and help him but felt something grab my hand. I whipped around to see Sara with Seth behind her.
"You cannot help him! The Siphon is too strong!" Sara cried.
"The what?!"
"An assassin sent to destroy us." Seth said. Amazingly I didn't think this was weird. Especially with these two.
"But I have to help my-"
"The only help you can give him is to hide Emily Bruno!" Seth said, grabbing my other hand and pulling me with him as we ran a bit further than stopped and crouched behind some bushes.

All was quiet as we hid in the bushes.

Suddenly BOOM!! One of the slime balls exploded!
I let out a scream and covered my head.
"Aahh!!" Seth yelled falling back.
The footsteps of the Siphon began again and we got up and started running.
"Jack Bruno!" Sara suddenly yelled out.
"Kids!!" Jack yelled back, further away in the bush.
"Uncle!!" I shouted.
Suddenly another slime ball exploded causing a fire to start and Sara and Seth started running again but not before Seth grabbed me and pushed me along.
"Go, go, go, go!!!" Seth screamed at us.
Explosions were sent at us left and right, Seth pulled me with him as we dodged them, when suddenly one sent us flying and I hit the ground hard. My head pounded but Seth and Sara immediately got up and ran again, pulling me with them.
"Go, go!!" Seth yelled again, pushing his sister and I along.

We stopped running as I yelled, "Jack!! Jack!!"
Suddenly Sara's device was knocked out of her hand and onto the ground.
"Seth!" Sara cried.
The Siphon then turned to where Seth and I were standing and knocked Seth into the air.
"No!!" I cried and, ignoring my still pounding head, ran shoulder first into the Siphon, sending it back a couple feet, pushing it off of Sara, pulling her to me and together we ran to Seth, pulling him to his feet.
The Siphon turned and went to pick up the device but it flew into Sara's hand. As it was looking about to attack, Jack came out of nowhere and tackled it but the Siphon was too strong and had him in a head lock in a second.

"Jack no!!" I shrieked, stepping forward but Seth's hand on my arm stopped me. Suddenly Jack threw off the Siphon and it backed up a few steps. Sara turned and held her hand out to a burning slime ball, sending it towards the Siphon which sent him flying back hard into a tree then onto the ground.
"Whoa!!" I yelled.

Jack got up from the ground and grabbed Sara, pushing her in front as Seth grabbed me, keeping me close to him.
"Come on, we gotta go!!" Jack shouted as we ran.
We dodged another explosion before we reached the tunnel. Sara and Jack went in first then me and Seth.
"Go!" Seth yelled to me just as we entered the basement, then he turned and began closing the heavy door by himself. I turned to help him but saw blue light behind it, and didn't like the look of it. Seth saw it too but didn't move.

"Seth!!!" I screamed but it was too late. Just as Seth managed to close the door, the light hit it throwing him to the ground while also sending an earthquake through the basement.
I was thrown to the ground, while Jack and Sara were thrown against the walls.
Again my head was pounding and my ears were ringing but I got up and saw Seth face down on the ground.
"Seth!" I heard Sara call out from the stairs.
Jack ran over and picked him up, heaving him on his shoulders.
Sara emerged from the stairs and looked up to see her brother unconscious.
"Seth!"
"He's alright!" I said, grabbing her hand and pulling her with me. Of course I didn't know that for sure. He was just hit by a blue light sent by a black alien called a Siphon!

We ran out of the fridge, Sara and I closing it behind us and through the shack. We only made it halfway when the fridge door exploded off its hinges, causing Sara and I to let out screams.

Jack kicked down the door and we ran out to the cab. Fire kept spitting out of the ground from underneath, causing us to dodge frantically.
I ran forward and opened the car door, letting Jack set Seth down on the seat, then I climbed in and, using the last of my strength, pulled him into a sitting position.
Sara stood at the door, worried for her brother.
"Sara come on get in!" I cried and she obeyed.
Jack got into the car and started it up and I pulled the seatbelt over Seth.
The cab sped away and I put my hands on my head, trying to control the pain.
Sara put her hand on my shoulder and I looked at her, into her royal blue eyes, still taking deep breaths. I noticed her face was covered with dirt and her hair was a mess. I assumed I looked the same.
My vision was becoming blurry, Sara's face was a blue and white mess. Suddenly, all I could see was black.
