A week pasted since Astrid was blinded and was cured. Now hiccup and astrid are dating... well secretly that is. The gang hasn't found out yet and hiccup and astrid didn't want them to. They have to do it for the good of the team. Hiccup and Astrid were at the stables getting their dragons cleaned, while the others are doing their thing.

"I uh Astrid I was wondering if well um... Every since you got blinded I was starting to think how things are between us and I was wondering if you would like to go on a date?" Hiccup said nervously. I mean he loves Astrid. Ever since he was six he had a crush on her. When Astrid was blinded and the triple strike was going to attack Astrid he didn't know what he would do if toothless didn't come in time. He was always worried for Astrid's safety ever since the buffalord incident.

Astrid just stopped what she was doing and looked at hiccup. Astrid had so many thoughts going through her head. She couldn't believe it! Hiccup asked her out! She loves hiccup even if he is a stubborn man she still loved him.

"You don't have to i-if you don't want to." Astrid threw herself at hiccup catching him off guard. "Oh hiccup I would love to!" Astrid said loosening her grip on hiccup. Astrid looked at hiccup and hiccup looked at her.

Forest green meeting ocean blue. They both slowly leaned in and their lips met. Hiccup's heart was beating so much he was sure Astrid could hear it. Hiccup wrapped his hand around Astrid's waist, and pulled her closer. Astrid was surprised hiccup just held her closer. She leaned in more. They broke apart gasping for air. Then they both just laughed.

"We can go tonight? We can go on a flight if that's what you would like?" Hiccup asked.

"I'd like that!"

Toothless and Stormfly just roared to get their riders attention. "Oh sorry girl we should get going before it's lunch. See you later hiccup. Meet you here tonight." Astrid said waving her hand as she and Stormfly took off.

"She really something bud." Toothless just purred. Toothless loved when his rider would bond with Astrid. Or mating. Toothless will never understand humans. Well except hiccup of course.

"Come on bud what do you say we go for a quick flight and make a quick check up on the island to see if dragons hunters are even near us." Hiccup said mounting toothless. Toothless growled at the word dragon hunters.

"I hear you bud I don't like them either." Hiccup laughed and petted toothless's head and they took off. They both went around the island for a quick island patrol. "Nothing bud, let's headed to the clubhouse and see what the gang is doing?" Hiccup and toothless turned back around and headed back to the edge. The gang was in the clubhouse with their dragons. The twins and Snotlout were arguing about who was the most awesome. Well mostly Snotlout. Heather and Astrid were talking about attack defenses. Fishlegs was recording any last minute facts into the book of dragons.

Hiccup grabbed a fish for toothless and tossed the fish over to toothless and he happily accepted the fish. Hiccup sat in a chair next to toothless.

"Hey hiccup I saw you and toothless going around the island. What were you doing?" Asked Fishlegs. He finished his notes and was bored so he asked hiccup a simple question.

"Me and toothless were doing a quick island patrol. Nothing near, though."

Everyone was a little skittish about Viggo and the dragon hunters. Especially hiccup. He's been trying so hard to get at least one step ahead of him.

"Good, maybe we can finally relax for a change." Said Snotlout.

"I don't know Snotlout I mean we are still going to have to set up gronkle iron wall, and readjust the ballista. Then we have to-"

"Blah, blah, blah we get it fishface. I'm just saying we should relax maybe for one day!" Interrupted Snotlout.

"Fishlegs right Snotlout, but we can make today to just rest, but tomorrow back to work." Stated hiccup.

Everyone nodded. A least they have one day off. The afternoon sun finally came and the gang went to do their own separate thing. Snotlout and Hookfang were off to their hut to just rest, while Fishlegs and meatlug went to their mud bath. I don't even want to know what THEIR going to do! Heather and Astrid went to go train in the woods. Poor targets. Hiccup and toothless just went to their hut to see if hiccup could readjust toothless's saddle and work on inferno. The twins I have know idea.

"Hey bud stay still I need to tighten the girdle!" Hiccup said trying to tighten the saddle. He made the saddle light and comfortable for toothless so they could move better in the air. Toothless was having none if it. He wanted to get it over with. Hiccup was on toothless's side when toothless decided to jump and try to get away, causing him to drag hiccup.

"Toothless, slow DOWN now. Toothless! On come on. Thank you for nothing you useless reptile." Struggled hiccup. Finally toothless stopped and hiccup just layed their on the floor not even bothering to get up. Toothless saw this and laughed.

"Not helping bud." Hiccup said rolling his eyes. Causing toothless to laugh more.

"Oh yah!" Hiccup tackled toothless to the ground and they rolled causing toothless to roll over Hiccup. "Oh no you don't!" Hiccup scratched toothless's chin making toothless drop.

"Hahaha! The one legged Viking wins!" Hiccup said triumphantly. Toothless wasn't going to give up just yet. Toothless pinned hiccup down causing hiccup to help in surprise. "No fair!"

Toothless licked hiccup. "Argh! Come on bud you know that doesn't wash out." Hiccup laughed. Hiccup knew he wasn't going to win so he gave up. "Alright, alright you win. You win." Hiccup said. Toothless got off hiccup and puffed out his stomach with pride. Hiccup just rolled his eyes.

"Yah, yah you won but next time I'm using an eel."

Toothless's stomach went down immediately. He looked at hiccup with a look that said 'you wouldn't dare!'

"Make me!" Hiccup crossed his arms and smiled. Toothless growled. "Oh so the lightning and death itself isn't so impressive." That hit a nerve. Toothless lunged at hiccup and started to tickle him. The spot that toothless knows hiccup hates.

"H-hey you cheater! Get o-off of me! Bud quit it!" Hiccup laughed hard his chest was hurting. Toothless looked at hiccup that said 'Surrender or be tickled!'

"Ok, ok, ok, I surrender. I surrender." Hiccup said raising his arms in surrender. Toothless nodded and got off hiccup. "Useless reptile." Hiccup said rubbing off the saliva off of him.

Hiccup and toothless just relaxed after their playfulness. Hiccup did do some work on his inferno. Added a few more zippleback gas canisters and poured more monstrous nightmare gel. "Ok bud I say we call it a day. A say we go to the clubhouse and eat and then meet Astrid at the stables." Hiccup said. Toothless was sleeping and just grumbled. "Oh ok I guess you don't want any fish then. I understand." Hiccup said slowly leaving the his hut. As soon as hiccup said fish toothless got up as quick as lightning, and headed to the door fast and past hiccup causing hiccup to spin.

"Well that worked well." Laughed hiccup as they headed to the clubhouse. The sun was slowly going but the sky was still lit with an orange purple color. The clubhouse was filled with laughter. The gang was already their and enjoyed their meal as Tuffnut was talking about yak dung. Hiccup didn't want to know what he missed.

"Hey Hiccup!" Greeted Astrid. Hiccup waved and took a seat next to Fishlegs. "Hey!" Replied hiccup. The gang talked about the dragon hunters with a serious face. They had to get rid of them or the safety of the dragons are small.

"Hey I'm going to call it a night guys." Yawned Snotlout. The others agreed accept hiccup and astrid. Everyone got up and went to their huts leaving Hiccup and Astrid alone.

"So you want to go on our date?" Asked hiccup. The moon was shone against the ocean and casted beautiful shadows across the forest. The stars showing one by one. Creating a blanket of wonder. This night was perfect.

"I would love to." Astrid said grabbing Hiccup's hand. They wanted to go on a flight but the world was so beautiful to be see on the sky.

Hiccup and Astrid walked in the forest, talking about what they did today. "So toothless just tackled you and started licking you?!" Astrid laughed hysterically. Hiccup just chuckled. "Yes that's exactly what happened." Hiccup said sarcastically. They walked farther into the forest. They stopped near at cliff and they sat down to look at the beautiful night sky and magnificent moon painting the ocean.

"It's amazing how the world is so peaceful yet bad things are happening." Said Astrid looking at hiccup. Hiccup smiled. "I know. Everytime I'm out here I feel nothing can go wrong."

Hiccup and astrid just smiled. Hiccup loved Astrid with all of his heart. Astrid felt the same about hiccup. They both leaned and closed their eyes as their lips met. Hiccup wrapping his arms around Astrid. Hiccup never wanted this moment to end. They broke apart gasping for air. Hiccup looked into Astrid's eyes and smiled.

"Astrid do you want to be my girlfriend?" Hiccup asked nervously. Astrid hugged hiccup tight and laughed. "Of course you idiot. I would love to be your girlfriend!" Astrid let hiccup go and punched him. "Ow!" Hiccup yelled rubbing his arm. Astrid just laughed. Hiccup wrapped his arm around Astrid and bring her closer. Astrid layed her head on Hiccup's shoulder.

"I love you Hiccup!" Astrid said looking at the night sky. Hiccup smiled.

"And I love you Astrid!"

I'm so so so sorry for the long wait. I'm not the best at Hiccstrid moments, but I'm getting better little by little. I need more Hiccstrid moments ideas. If you would be kind to tell them to me I would be grateful to write them. More is on the way. I had another Hiccstrid. It's really short but it isn't on my story. I published it.
