September 3rd-4th Crunch time is approaching

The time to crown champions is approaching, from stock cars to the open wheel cars. Their respective seasons are getting close to the end, and the contenders are getting clearer by the day. First is the Xfinity Darlington race, which is one of 3 races remaining before the Xfinity playoffs begin.

Christopher Bell

It may seem weird seeing Bell in the 18 Xfinity car this weekend. Before, it was supposed to be Denny Hamlin behind the wheel, but after his crash at Daytona last week, he decided to sit out. Any extra laps can help a Cup driver out for Sunday, so Bell is going to be a threat for the Xfinity win.

F1 Dutch🇳🇱 grand prix

Max Verstappen

It's not a matter of if but when Verstappen will claim his 2nd world championship. The form he has been on this season has been incredible by winning over 2/3 of the races so far this year. It would be foolish to count out the Dutchman for his 10th win of the year and his 2nd consecutive home grand prix win.

IndyCar Portland

Will Power

Consistency has been key for the 2014 IndyCar champion this year. He may only have 1 win, but 7 total podiums is the most out of any driver this year. Leading the championship with 2 races to go, he is on the verge of getting the record for most pole positions in IndyCar history. Most importantly, he'll be looking for a win to get 1 step closer to his 2nd IndyCar championship

Southern 500

Martin Truex Jr

It's crazy to put 'Martin Truex Jr' and 'missing the playoffs' in the same sentence, but it happened. The 2017 champion will have at best a 17th place finish in the standings. His rivals might be glad he isn't in the playoffs since he has been 1st or 2nd in 4 of the last 5 years. Now Truex has nothing to lose and would love to win the Southern 500 to show that he can still race with the best NASCAR drivers
