I open my eyes, only to be blinded by the bright sun. Where am I? Runs through my head as I look at my surroundings, this Isn't home? I thought, looking around, tall, grey stone walls surrounded where I was, standing up I hit my hand on something. Wait  second... I was trapped In a circular tube, looking around, there were another teenagers like myself, not many girls though as I may say. A certain teenager caught my eye, and he might I say was In the tube next to me. "Brian!" I try to yell at him, his eyes slowly open, looking around he looks towards me, his face filled with worry, fear and shock. "Lillian!" His voice was muffled from the tube as he yelled my name. "Welcome, to Race Against Time." A mechanical voice spoke out, which caught all of our attention. Mine, Brains and other kids' heads snapped up, looking for the source of the noise. "Welcome to Race Against Time, In this game there are sixteen challenges," I stepped back at the word 'game'. "GAME?! WHO THE HECK DECIDED TO KIDNAP US AND THROW US IN A GAME?!" A kid screamed out, looking over the guy had black hair, and a hoodie on, looking back to the front, the voice spoke again. "Your job Is to complete the challenges, and get the Item at the end," The voice paused once again, I was just processing this all, game? Challenges? Items? What did I do to deserve this? "Get back here, In the middle before your time runs out. Those who make It back In time, with the Item will safely go onto the next challenge, each challenge Is spaced out, for example; You will go Into an challenge a day." Well that's good, but we're being TIMED?! "Those who do not make It back In time, will go against others to decide who lives, and who dies." Most of us jumped back at that, die?! I'm already wishing this was a dream, please be a dream.. Nope, not a dream. "You all have a bag filled with, food water and something to help you navigate through the maze." Oh my, someone really planned this 'game' out! A maze, challenges, Items, being timed! "You have twenty four hours before your first challenge starts, get back here In the middle before those twenty four hours run out, being here on time gives you the advantage of knowing what your going against." Okay... So I have to be back here before the time runs out, I look to Brian hoping that he won't leave me alone In this maze, no he wouldn't he's like a big brother to me! "Beware of the night, for the maze holds many secrets..." Oh please don't say this place has animals that'll kill you! "Your time. Starts.... NOW!" And that's when all this hell started...
