-----
Connor and Hank look both dumbfounded by the video as it returns to its blank state, Connor stood straight and try to process the video.
"The location is encrypted on the whole video, it may take a few minute for me to recover it."
Connor said, looking at Hank's direction, who is standing up, knotting his brows in a concentrated manner.
"Are you really just gonna trust that prick just because of that mythic shit about that damn rA9?"
Hank look at Connor, who seems to doubt to start locating it.
"I...i'm not so sure, i wanted to but.."
Connor said, looking away before sitting to the chair.
"I think you have to talk to that android...what his name again?...Martin?"
Hank said, scratching the back of his neck as he tries to remember.
"Markus..its Markus, lieutenant, and yes, it might be the most appropriate approach to this situation."
Connor said, lifting himself up and walked outside of the house, reaching for his indicator.
Hank follow suit while groaning to how hype the android with this new information he got.
[Markus, there is something i want to tell you personally, can you come here at lieutenant Anderson's house?]
A few minutes passed before he recieved a message from him.
[Understood, please be informed that i will be with my companion, North, with me, i hope you bring good news to me my friend.]
Connor turn around to see Hank walking to outside, warming himself up from the cold weather.
"Lieutenant, we will have visitors in a few minutes, in the meantime, let me offer you something to warm."
Connor said, pushing back Hank inside, earning a good complain from Hank on why did he have to go outside to call.
------
After a few minutes, a taxi parked outside of Hank's house, indicating the arrival of the two androids.
Connor notice their presence, making him spring from his seat, as Hank is snoring his way from exhaustion.
Connor carefully walked toward the door without making any sound, when he notice Sumo, Hank's dog, perked up because of the presence outside.
"Sumo, please don't bark so Hank doesn't wake up, okay?"
Connor plead to the dog as he pats it on the head for assurance, where the dog just stares, before curling back to his bed and snores away.
Connor fix his appearance before opening the door, revealing the two figures on the gate, looking around the place.
"I'm delighted that you've come Markus."
Connor said, reaching out the gate to let them in the place.
"Yes, though me and North could proceed the renovation for our new nation, i cannot pass up an invitation from an important friend of Jericho."
Markus said, bowing slightly at Connor's direction.
"You don't have to do this Markus, you..saved us, without you encouraging our kind, we still be slaves of humans." Connor said, patting Markus in assurance, a giggle escape from North as she look at the two who is bowing at each other.
"Alright you two, its better to chat inside than to be here outside the cold weather." The two chuckled at her suggestion where Connor lead them inside, but stop midway on the door.
"I must excuse the two of you, lieutenant Hank is...napping on the couch right now, and i don't want him disturbed, so if you please.."Connor said, looking at the two, who nods at him.
With a click on the door, the three goes inside without much of a fuss, Connor took their thick coats and put it neatly near the door as the two survey how cozy yet the reek of alcohol still prevails on the air.
"You must excuse the smell of the house, i'm still not equipped with cleaning techniques on how to get rid of the stench of alcohol"
Connor said, as he got pass by the two, he pat cleaned the chairs on the kitchen and took out the bottles scattered on the table, without much of an effort, the kitchen is now clean as it could be, with the much evident of the shattered glass on the window patched up with tapes.
"Thank you very much for coming today Markus and North, but this is a matter of discussion that i want to personally talk about."
Connor said, as the two sat comfortably on the chairs, still looking around the house before their attention got caught by Connor's voice.
"I hope that this won't be an alarming concern about our freedom from humans, we just got it, at least i want a peaceful day with Markus, savoring our victory."
North said, eyes dart in concern hearing Connor's tone, making Markus reach for her hands, reassuring her in every way possible.
"No...i'm...i'm very sorry for the way i said it, i didn't mean to worry you, but i have an information about this myth of what others called as rA9."
Connor said, making the two look at each other with confusion and shock.
"I need your opinion to this Markus, i have encountered cases regarding rA9 but i'm not quite sure if i have to believe the information i got."
Connor said, rubbing his knuckles as he slightly tilt his head to face Markus.
"I...i'm not sure about this,my friend..but if its really a fact that rA9 isn't just a mere part of our imaginative reason why we can finally break the chain that bind us to humans, i think i want to met and personally thank them."
Markus said, leaning back to the chair before letting a big sigh.
"I, too, want to know the truth to this rA9, or let them know that i'm thankful for letting us feel that we are alive."
North said, looking at Connor with a relief on her face, smiling then to Markus way.
"This rA9 is really a valuable part of whats happening to us, i might as well see who really they are."
Connor said, leaning back also to his chair, knitting his brows in a concentrated manor.
"If you are going to that shit hole..i'm going with ya son."
Hank said, as he walk his walk towards to where the androids is before stretching his back
"Lieutenant!i'm very sorry that we have woken you up."
Connor said, standing quickly to apologize to Hank who is waving him to sit back down.
"Geez, i got enough sleep in my life..sit down for christ sake, i'm good."
Hank said, then gone to where Markus is to shake hands as well to North, before pulling a chair to sit down with them.
"Its very nice to see the leader of all this, i'm sorry bout ya Carl, known em this and that part, but i know he is a good man."
Hank said, sincerely smiling to Markus.
"Thank you, i'm so glad to meet the person Connor always look up to."
Markus said, making Connor spring up to look at him then to Hank.
"Nah, you guys are admirable more than we are, thats for sure, i'm pretty sure you will make this world a bit better than we did."
Hank said, laughing a little before reaching to Connor to pat him gently on the back.
"But as i said, lieutenant, i should be going alone at this mission."
Connor said, looking at Hank's direction with too much concern.
"What if don't wanna?eh?and besides, being with your missions is a lot more fun that playin russian roulette here!"
Hank said, patting a bit harder to Connor's shoulder while smiling at him.
"looks like you got a company for this Connor, its better to have someone than go alone."
Markus said, recalling the mission Connor have gone to free the androids on the warehouse.
"Okay, lieutenant, but please be cautious for this, your life is irreplaceable, but we can be fixed."
Connor said, tone coating with worry for the wellbeing of his partner.
"Don't worry son, if god already wants me dead, he should plucked me right when you found me that night you shatter my window right there."
Hank said, laughing at his worry before pointing at the patched up window glass where he got in.
"And besides Connor, its better to be a team to this, trust me."
North said, smiling to Connor, assuring that everything will be alright.
"If you need anything to help you out for this, just tell me and we will aid you right away."
Markus said, smiling slightly before looking to Connor then to Hank.
"Thank you for this Markus, and North, i really appreciate you both here to help, i will contact you back if i need aid."
Connor said, standing up straight on cue with the two, nodding to him before walking towards the door.
"Thank you for today lieutenant Anderson and Connor, be safe as always."
Markus said, shaking Hanks hand for formality.
"You two as well, and if you guys need help, i'll try my best to be there."
Hank said, smiling briefly to them as Connor give them their coats.
The two nod courteously to Hank before walking out, leaving them now to plan for their next move.
"I should start encrypting the code to locate the place, if it is safe or not."
Connor said, walking straight to the couch, feeling the weight of his newly established mission to get to rA9 with Hank.
"Don't worry too much Connor, what use of me if i can't help you with this kinds of stuff."
Hank said, sitting next to him, patting him again for reassurance as he look at him with sincere worry.
"Thank you for all of this lieutenant, i'm really thankful."
Connor said, smiling a bit to Hank, making the other laugh at him.
"Looks like we will hunt the wolves now.."
Hank said, ruffling Connor's hair for standing up to get some coffee to wake him up.
Connor began to access back to the mail he got to analyzed the encryption of the video when a message pop up.
[---- last chance Connor
[---- messageencrypted.unknown
Connor opened his eyes, scanning himself again before going back to encrypting.
[---- be good and forget this
[---- memoryreserved//scan?
Connor stopped to what he was doing and got confused to the words popping one by one, with one suspect he knew that can do this, yet can't identify to why it was now contradicting the mission itself.
What really is what you want Elijah Kamski?
Are you good or bad?
Or another wolf waiting for prey?
