Katie's POV

"Balloons, cake, presents, food, drinks" I look around to be sure that everything's perfect.

Today is Riley's birthday who is turning one. I know she won't understand anything but me and Ross decided to make it special.

"Oh my god I forgot about the dress" I panic when I don't find Riley's pink dress in the room.

"Don't worry baby, everything's gonna be fine" Ross laughs as he approaches me.

I know I'm too worried about all of these birthday stuff but Riley is our first kid and I want everything to be perfect for her, even if she won't remember about it.

"I know, I'm sorry" I sigh and sit on the coach.

"I called Rydel. She will be here in twenty minutes and help you with everything." He says before kissing the top of my head.

I look up at him and smile. "Thank you Ross"

"You're welcome baby" he pecks me on the lips "You know we still have twenty minutes right?" Now he says huskily while leaning closer to me and claiming my lips with his. I doesn't take long for me to answer him so I quickly kiss him back.

Ross snakes his arms around my waist and I wrap mine around his neck. The way his lips touch mine make me shiver. I know we've been together for years but he still manages butterflies in my stomach.

After a few minutes I push myself away causing him groaning.

"Sorry Ross, but Riley might come in" she giggles trying to get rid of my grip.

"She's only one baby, she won't understand anything" He grins before planting more and more kisses on my lips.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Riley, happy birthday to you" everyone sings when Ross appears in the living room with a big Cinderella cake in his hands, bringing it to Riley.

Riley grins before trying to blow the candle but fails. Then she tries again but-fail.

"Let me help you Ri" Ross hands the cake to Riker and leans next to Riley, blowing candle with her.

Everyone cheered and I notice that happy face on my daughter's face. She got attacked by our family members and I just watched her grinning and smiling.

Suddenly I felt a pair on warm hands around my waist.

"She's beautiful" I say to him without taking my eyes from Riley.

"She looks like her mom" I look up at him and smile. He smiles back before pulling me into a long, passionate kiss.
