Riley's POV
"Jeremy?" I opened the window as I noticed my boyfriend sitting on the tree.

"Hello babe."
He jumped in through the window

"What are you doing there?"
I was a little bit surprised.

"I wanted to hang out with you this evening. Something like a date."

"Sounds cool but I can't."

"Oh,you already have plans." He seemed disappointed

"I'm going to the concert with Riker."
Me and Riker have been best friends from 3rd grade. We were like brother and sister but Jeremy didn't want to understand that. He has always thought that there was something going on between us and we have fought with him about this a lot.

"Cool,just cool. You spend more time with him than me. Maybe you want to be his girlfriend too?" He shouted.

"Jeremy don't talk like that. I love you and you're the only one I want to be with."

"Then call him and say that plans has changed. Please!"

"Sorry but I can't. If we want to date we need to understand each other."

"You're right."

"Am I?"

"Yes you are. And that's why I have to let you go. I'm sorry but I can't handle this anymore. You deserve being with a guy who will understand you. Goodbye Riley." He moved back to the window.

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"Definitely. I'm sorry."

"Jeremy? Please don't do that. I-I love you." I started tearing up.

"Bye Rylie." He jumped from the window to the three and then on the ground.
I saw how tears were falling on his cheeks.
I closed the window and grabbed my phone.
I called Riker.
"This is Riker. Can't answer now. Please leave a voicemail." The girl's voice answered.
"Riker this is Rylie. I need to talk. Please call me back."
I put my head in the pillow and started crying.
I didn't even notice how I fell asleep.
When I woke up Riker was sitting right next to me on the bed.
"Riker?" I said as I saw him.
"Your dad let me in."
Of course my dad. Who else?!
"I got your message. What happened?" He asked me worried.
"Jeremy just broke up with me."
"He what? Don't tell me that...."
"Yes. That's what you think."
"He's couldn't."
"Oh yeah he could. He thinks that we have feelings for each other."
Riker sighed.
"I don't know what to do." I cried.
"Shhhh everthing's gonna be okay."
He cheered me up.
"I will talk to him okay?" He said and hugged me tightly.
"Okay."
