Y/N's pov

'Because you have to go to the dentist today Hoshi for god's sake!'

I gasped, my eyes were already teary after finally realizing who were they. I quickly turned around, my eyes were now glossy as I blinked for a few times to look properly.

'O-omma....' I whispered...

Both of them looked at me. Their eyes narrowed as they looked at me.

'Did you say anything?' Omma asked me.

'Om-'

'Miss your total bill is 6000 Won.'

I flinched as I looked at the cashier. She handed me my bag. But I wasn't in the state to pay or pick up the bag.

Author's pov

Y/N desperately looked at her mother only to notice that she is gone. She looked around to see if she can find her mother or brother.

'Miss?'

Y/N sighed. She quickly took out her purse and gave her 6000 Won before taking the plastic bags and rushing outside.

'Omma! Omma!!' Y/N cried out.

She pulled her mask off of her face since the mask was wet because of her tears as she threw it away.

'I'm-mma......' She sobbed.

'No...I can't stay here! I have to see her! Only if it is for a few moments! I can't lose this opportunity!' Y/N said to herself.

She thought about the event.

'2012.....oppa....is going to the dentists......where was I? Where were they?! Think KWON Y/N! THINK!' She banged her head on the door of the store.

'Aish!! Why I can't think?!' She cried.

'At first, let's go to our old home! Omma will be there!' She thought as she boarded the bus.

'Where to Miss?' The conductor asked.

'On the next stop.' Y/N said as she gave him money and sat down on the last vacant seat.

'Oh god.....I......I saw omma....after so many years....She is alive.......SHE IS FUCKING ALIVE! She...she looks so beautiful and lively.' Y/N thought as she started to cry silently.

Her head was down, looking at her hands which rested in her lap with the plastic bags. Her mind drifted away from reality to those moments when she and her mother used to tease her father.

'This is the last stop.'

Y/N heard the conductor say as she stood up. Her face was off as she got down from the bus.

'Yaa Kwon Soonyoung! You look like a dumpling after you got your wisdom teeth pulled out. Hahaha!'

Y/N looked in front of her only to see her brother and his school friends. They were teasing him.

She gasped after seeing him. Hoshi was a mile away from her. So she started to run towards him. Not knowing and thinking what will happen if a big Y/N suddenly appears out of nowhere...

'Don't! Oppa!' She thought as she ran faster, bumping into many people. But she didn't even stop there. She just ran...

'So, are you gonna go to that company?'

'If you go to that company what will happen to your grandma and your parents and your brother?'

'I don't know...'

'Why are you repeating- JIMIN WATCH OUT!'

Jimin gasped as his friend tried to pull him but couldn't as he got to bump into someone and fell on his butt.

'Ouch!' Jimin whined in pain as he rubbed his waist.

'Are you okay?'

Jimin nodded a little as he looked at the person who didn't stop and run away.

'What a girl bro. So ill-mannered.'

Jimin's eyes widened in realization.

'Isn't she the noona...who gave me her business card?' Jimin stood up and looked at Y/N who rushed away.

'Do you know her?'

'Yeah. She was the one who told me to join the company.'

'What? I think you shouldn't go there because since the manager is so rude to people, I don't think she will be any good towards you Jimin..'

'Hmm...I think so...' Jimin mumbled....

Y/N panted heavily as she fell to her knees.

'I...lost him!'

It was already evening. The sun has set. The darkness was filling all around the places just like her heart was filling with darkness.

She sobbed for a while. After finally calming down, she sat on a bench and placed the plastic bags beside her.

She sighed as she looked around to look at the area finally.

'It..seems familiar..but what is the place?' She asked.

'This is where I used to play!' Y/N finally recalled.

'Wow. It didn't change! What? Am I even serious right now?! Why would it change when I am in past not in the future!' Y/N laughed at herself.

'Hey, you!'

She looked behind to see some college students.

'Yes?'

'Don't you know that this playground is ours now? Go away or you won't be able to walk away from here.' One of the guys smirked.

'Respect bro. She is our noona.' Another guy smirked.

'Oh yeah. Noona....' The guy laughed.

'Oh boy. You don't know that I know martial arts.' Y/N smirked.

'Aww, everyone says that whenever they are in danger.'

'Oh! Is that so? Then how about you guys come and see if I can or not?' Y/N said as she took her scarf off of her and did some flips making those boys back away a little.

'Wow. Guess what? You won't be leaving tonight.' The guy smirked as he whistled.

10 more guys came out from nowhere making Y/N's confidence break into little pieces. She backed away a little, trying to calculate the number of boys.

Suddenly she remembered something.

'If you ever see some people trying to harm you then you should run away from there okay?'

'Why oppa? I can defend myself! You have made me learn martial arts for non!'

'Because if there are too many bad people around you, you can not defend yourself. You should run to some busy road so that they can not catch you even if they try since there will be many people around you guys.'

'But-'

'No buts! I can't have you limping or walking with a hand fractured!'

'You mean!' She pouted.

Y/N remembered those words. Now that she is thinking about what her brother said that day, it makes sense now.

'Well....AHH OPPA!' Y/N shouted as those boys looked behind them.

Y/N took the chance to run in the opposite direction.

'Hey! She is running away!' One of them shouted as all of them ran to catch her.

'Hah!' She gasped as she ran quickly.

Trying to think where the main roads were.

'Shit!' She looked behind and saw 2 of them dangerously close to her.

Suddenly she could hear car honks.

'The road..!'

She thought and ran towards the noises.

'HELP!' Y/N shouted as she finally saw the main road.

Tears started to flow because of happiness. She could see a group of boys.

'Help me please!' She shouted as she collapsed on the ground right in front of them.

'Noona!' One of them gasped seeing an older girl collapsing in front of them and trying to ask for help.

They rushed towards Y/N. One of them patted her as another one gave her some water from his bag.

'Don't worry you are safe noona.' They said.

Y/N desperately breathed trying to inhale oxygen as she grabbed the bottle from him and drank.

'What happened noona?'

'S-some college or school guys were chasing me...I-it was fine since I know martial arts b-but...suddenly there were too many of them..' Y/N panted.

'Oh! Don't worry. I think they won't harm you now.' One of them said as he looked around to see non of the boys who were in a group as Y/N said.

'Where is your house? We will take you there.'

'It's..okay. I am fine now since I am on the main road.' Y/N said as she smiled.

Finally calming down, she got up and gave the water bottle back.

'Thank you!' She said and bowed before walking fast, wanting to reach her home quickly.

'What a day.' She sighed as she embraced herself in her arms because of the cold.

'It's not finished yet!'

She gasped and let out a scream when someone grabbed her arms and pulled her towards an empty alley beside the road....
