-Geoff POV-

Ryan's really been falling. Ray went back to hes apartment last week, Michael and Gavin are back. I was able to notice he was falling, no one else really did, he did a good job of hiding it. Then i finally figured out why.

One day Ryan, Ray, and i got to work at the same time. Tina dropped off Ray and as he was getting out of the car he was laughing with Tina. Ryan just watched him i had a feeling that he was thinking "i wish that was me making Ray laugh". I felt somewhat guilty for this because when i dropped Ray back at hes apartment after the week and half he spent at my place, i told Tina to keep an eye on him and to take him to work and pick him up when i couldn't. I'm guessing that Ryan also thought that they are now dating since they are spending so much time toghter.

"Hey Ryan you got a minute." I said. Its lunch time and he was about to leave the kitchen after he grabbed he coke.

"Hm oh sure what up Geoff."

"I can tell that your upset. I hate seeing you like this, all the guys do." I said. "All the guys said something after they saw you left the room. Tell me whats wrong and don't give me some bullshit excuse."

"Well. I'm able to deal with seeing Ray and Tina toghter, if hes happy then I'm happy. Its my wife. I think shes hinting on that i love Ray. I feel bad about it, shes my wife i still love her, just not as much as Ray." Ryan said. I can tell hes confused

"So your trying to make her happy, but at the same time its killing you." I said sighing

"Yea, i i guess so."

"Man, i wish i could help, i want to try to, but this is one situation were my fatherly like advice cant help, i cant tell you what to do."

"Its alright, thanks Geoff."

"Oh and the guys are coming over to my place tomorrow around 12 for some bevs, Griffion and Millie are out of town for the weekend." I said. "Oh and Jacks bringing Caiti, so if Laurie wants she can come to."

"Alright, ill be there, ill ask Laurie if she wants to come when i get home."

-Ryans POV, time skip after work-

"Laurie love, I'm home." I said setting keys in the table. That's when i noticed a note. "Anther emergency at work, the dog had anther heart attack, not sure when ill be home. ~Love Laurie".

Well i guess i have the rest of a Friday night to myself. I watched TV for about a half hour when i got a call from Laurie.

"Hey honey. Hows work." I said

"Its alright, I'm going to be home really late there is more wrong with the poor dog then we thought. After we stabilized him from the heart attack, we decided to run more tests on him being this is hes second one in a few weeks. So i have to wait for the results to come in then make sure he gets the right treatment."

"Wow i hope the dog gets better soon." As i was saying that i got a text from Ray asking if i wanted to come over it would be just the two of us. "Oh and I'm going over to Rays, he invited all the guys over."

"Ok have fun, tell Michael and Gavin sorry again that i couldn't come to their wedding."

"Alright i will. I love you."

"Love you to." She said hanging up.

I then texted Ray back sure, ill pick up some pizza on the way. He answered me back saying awesome see you soon. When i got there he already had the drinks and plates out. We finished the whole pizza, which didn't surprise me. We then played video games for a several hours. Next thing i know its 10:30

"I should probably be heading home. Laurie should be home by now" I said setting the controller down.

"Oh shame you cant stay for one more game."

"Yea, id love to but then I'm sure Laurie would call and wonder were am i, and probably be worried we were fucking each other."

"Yea thats ridiculous." He said with a weak laugh.

We sat there in silence for a moment staring into each other eyes. I wanted to just lean in and kiss him so badly. I didn't. I couldn't. I broke the 'staring contest' when i looked over to hes shoulders, there was scars on them, he was wearing a tank top like shirt so you can see the scars. Oh how i wanted to question and hug him, and get him to stop, i had to leave though, my wife was waiting for me at home. So i said good bye he walked me to the door and left. There was nothing i could do.

When i got home Laurie was watching TV.

"Hey love how the dog doing?" I said sitting next to her on the couch

"Good. had fun with the guys at Rays?"

"Yea, although by like an hour later they all had to go home so we ordered a pizza and played video games till i look at the clock." I said half lying "so when did you get home?"

"I got home at about a half hour ago, while i was wait for the results on the dog, other people came in. Mostly kids and their parents to pick up there cats or dogs, which got me thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a child?"
