Happiness often sneaks through a door you didn't even know you left open.

This is definitely true, I can't tell you how many times I felt like it was hopeless, then something happens to make me smile, whether it be something small, like my dog doing something stupid, or something huge, like spending time with my family, and no one is sick or stressed.

Sometimes happiness just wants to play hide and seek, you just need to look, for all you know it could be hiding behind the curtains, you just don't know until you open your eyes.

And if I can't find happiness, I make happiness. Turning on my favorite song, writing or reading, watching my favorite show or YouTuber, memes, cooking, baking, talking to my friends, realizing 'holy crap, I have friends.' No literally, I just realized that typing this. I haven't had (true, close) friends since 2014.
