As I said on my board yesterday, this particular book is only for those of you who have genuinely enjoyed & become invested in 2-3–if not more–of my current fanfic sagas, such as "More Than Fate {Jasper Hale x OC}", "The Scarlet Start {Book I}", "Magic in the Making {Fred Weasley x OC}", etc.

If you're new to my corner of the internet, hi, I'm Lizzie, otherwise known as Sunset! I'm a proud pansexual, theatre kid, book dragon, cinema nerd, graphic-crafter, & storyteller. I've been running this little community of mine for a few years now, & it's built on mutual respect for making genuine connections & enjoying my various works together.

All of my fanfics are fandom-blind friendly, so even if you're unfamiliar with the given fandom, you can still enjoy the given book. I write each one with a fairly balanced mix of canon-compliance & canon-divergence, which, in my eyes, makes the experience even more fun for all of my audience members. Especially in regards to two of my writing style trademarks, bittersweet cliffhangers & chaotic banter opportunities.

However, it should be kept in mind that I have my fair share of boundaries, which apply to every part of my page; all of my books & my message board. If you've been part of my community for a while, this next segment will just be a refresher. And, if you're brand new to my page, this will serve as a useful crash-course in what I am & am not alright with as far as behavior, engagement etiquette, etc.

Make sure to read them ALL carefully, & ask respectful, appropriate questions if they arise.

~ No disrespectful behavior, judgmental comments, self-deprecating remarks, condescending tones, slurs, other vulgar language, or anything else within those DISGUSTING realms will be tolerated anywhere on my page. Be kind to me, yourselves, & each other at all times. Always think carefully & read over the given comment/message before hitting the 'Send/Post' button.

Going hand-in-hand with the paragraph above, drama, bigotry, prejudice, sexism, etc. are MAJOR NO-NOS. I am a proud member & ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and, by extension, my page is a LGBTQ+ safespace. If you are homophobic, transphobic, or anything else of that nature, LEAVE. MY. PAGE. AT. ONCE.

And, no flirtatious comments, messages, remarks, etc. will ever be tolerated toward me, my characters–OCs & canon character portrayals alike–or your fellow readers.

~ *The following edit is something somewhat new that I'm testing out with you guys in "The Scarlet Start" {Book 1 of my ASOUE fics} & this. As long as its inclusion does NOT sprout too many issues, it will stay. I have the right to rescind it at any time.* Profanity will be tolerated in your comments within this book & "The Scarlet Start" as long as it is used in an emotionally mature & appropriate manner.

I am testing this out within "The Scarlet Start" & this side project because both books are of the Mature-rated variety. If this addition works out alright, then the point regarding this that you see in both books will remain in place. But, if this doesn't end up working out, the use of profanity will be dropped back into my no-no language section at the top of both books' 'House Rules'.

~ I am a female & my pronouns are she/her, as I've stated clearly at the top of my bio. Never address me using any masculine-centric–'boy', 'dude', 'man', 'brother', etc.–terms. {'Babe', 'baby', & other nicknames in that wheelhouse are also NOT ALLOWED}

You may call me any of the following nicknames/terms–'Sunset', 'Lizzie', 'Sunny', 'darling', 'sweetheart', 'love/lovely', etc.–whenever you want to address me directly in comments, messages, etc.

If you ever think of a nickname and/or term of endearment you'd like to call me by, but aren't sure if I'll be alright with it or not, all you have to do is ask me respectfully if you have my permission to call me by the given name/term in a classy, platonic, & genuine manner.

~ As I've made crystal-clear in my bio, I do NOT participate in F4F, R4R, V4V, or C4C. So, do NOT ask me to follow you, read your story, join your community, and/or anything else of the sort. It's rude, insensitive, & unappreciated.

~ Those of you who have been in my corner of the internet for a fairly lengthy period of time are likely aware that I've been verbally harassed several times over the course of my years on this platform.

If you stumble across messages or comments of that sort anywhere on my page at any time, do NOT engage with them, do NOT go storming over to the given user's/users' page/pages to 'defend my honor'.

I will handle the given situation when I have time & am in the right headspace to do so. If you wish to block the given person/people, that's completely your choice. Just do NOT get into a verbal fight with the responsible soul or souls. The only exception is if I ever specifically ask you guys to back me up.

~ No spam-voting–the act of voting on multiple chapters of any of my projects in a row with little to no comments in between–is ever tolerated on my page, either.

This is one of my biggest boundaries because a ridiculous number of uncaring, insensitive users have done it on many of my books over the years. They would flood my notifs with their star-shaped button clicks, & either give me the bare minimum of comment feedback, or, more often than not, none at all.

~ Chapter-skipping & chapter-skimming are NOT welcome anywhere on my page. If you decide for any reason that this book is not for you, leave. Do NOT lash out at me or your fellow readers just because it's not your cup of cocoa.

~ My page, my community, is built on a mutual love & respect for genuine connection, forging legitimate friendships, & enjoying the worlds I craft through my storytelling together.

So, with that said, verbal feedback is the engagement I treasure, appreciate, & prefer MOST. Comment waves from compassionate, sincere, & excited souls. Messages full of kindness, whether they're honest questions about my stories, my lovely reader-friends popping over to say 'hi' & check in on me, etc.

Please do not leave comments at the very bottom of ANY of my projects' chapters- the area outside of the spaces where a grey comment bubble appears.

~ I have a life on & offline, as well as several other in-progress books. I expect all of you to have patience & give me grace when it comes to posting new chapters, answering comments, replying to messages, etc.

~ Only follow me if you genuinely want to continue reading my stories, engage with my message board, & become friends with me.

~ As my frequent audience members know, I adore writing lengthy chapters, & no one is ever obligated to read a full chapter of mine, let alone multiple chapters of mine, in just 1 sitting. That's why I encourage ALL of my readers to leave bookmarking comments whenever they need to pause in reading a given chapter & genuinely plan on continuing to read the given book once they have time & are in the right headspace.

Here are a few examples of bookmarking comments, in case you're confused- "Pausing here, can't wait to dive back in later!🖤", "Have some errands to run; can't wait to continue!🪻", "This looks like a good stopping point; I'll be back tomorrow!🌙", or anything else along those lines.

That way, you won't lose your exact spot, so you'll be able to dive back in right where you left off. And, on top of that, I will know where you are in the chapter & that you are still interested in tagging along for the given adventure! A win-win, all around!

~ Unless otherwise stated by me, every single character/aesthetic board, as well as the lavender 'Vote & Comment if you Enjoyed' graphic that you see at the bottom of each chapter, was made by & belongs to yours truly. None of which are to be used/shared/etc. anywhere for any reason without being granted my permission first. That applies to my OCs {original characters}, locales, dialogue, plotlines, etc., too.

~ I typically include 3-6–if not more–Questions of the Day/Questions of the Night {QOTDs/QOTNs} in my closing notes within ALL of my books' chapters. And, although no one has to answer all of the given chapter's QOTDs/QOTNs, I ask ALL of you to give at least 1-2 of 'em a shot if you aren't comfortable enough to answer all of 'em, and/or if some of the given questions are tailored to a group of my reader-friends that you don't fall into at the given time.

~ If you break one or more of my established boundaries, you will receive 1 warning from me.

However, if you act out in a negative way–ignore the warning, delete it, cuss me out, etc.–you will be blocked & blacklisted by me. I will also warn my page of your boundary-breaking tendencies in a public announcement on my message board.

~ This is the 1st side project I've ever written that has a Mature rating.

~ No, this book does NOT contain any explicitly sexual elements whatsoever. I've put the Mature rating in place as a precaution due to the varyingly dark subject matter, serious adult themes, etc. {The Curious Chronicles {my ASOUE series}, as well as many other future Mature-rated works of mine will have a strong, heavy presence throughout this compendium}

~ This book will contain the following in varying capacities- physical abuse, coarse language, emotional manipulation, kidnapping, & alcoholism/substance abuse, among other things.

~ As with every chapter of my other works, each chapter's opening notes will have a clearly marked 'TW/CW' list to prepare you for what the given chapter will hold. If, at any point, you decide that this book is not for you, that is completely okay. I have several other books you can check out that are not rated Mature.

I'm fairly certain I've covered all of my bases regarding this book's rating, as well as my page-wide boundaries. Now, if you're still with me & interested in coming along for this ride, let's get into what you can expect from this new project of mine.🌷🔮🌷

Essentially, it's a 'Guess the Characters' collection of dialogue threads centered around my current & future fanfic sagas. Each chapter will have a specific overarching theme, & every section within the given chapter will fit into the given theme. This collection's format will be much different than the one I've used for my 'Guess the Characters' chapters within "Sunset Boulevard".

Hopefully, this will be an entertaining bonus volume of content for you guys to dive into while waiting for more chapters of my fanfics. You'll have a wide variety of emotionally-toned dialogue threads from my OCs & canon-character portrayals to theorize about to your heart's content. That goes for the guessing chapters and their reveal chapter counterparts with the asterisked nuggets of context some of you might remember from the more recent chapters of "Vault II".🪶🎨🪶
