I just realised I'm on chapter forty of this book. 😲

So, I'm gonna be honest, I didn't have anything available for today. I do my drawing a day or two in advance, in case I reck a drawing, or I'm having a bad day, or even when I'm feeling down, my drawings come out a bit scarier and darker than I meant.

And I realised, this isn't my first time drawing a mermaid, so I went through about a dozen sketch books to see if there was a mermaid drawing, and I found this:

And if you're wondering what the purple tag is hiding, that would be my real signature.

So this is probably from November-December last year? And I kind of cringe when I see the blending and shading. 😳

And also, I'm pretty sure the top left on is based off of a monster high character? I'm not sure...

Also, question: would you like for me to do a kind of sketchbook tour after MerMay? I'll just have chapters with... um, 20 pages? But I'll still post my recent drawings in between. What do you think about that?
