Asahiyama High School....

Y/n: I can't believe it been 8 years since I left for America with my family. I can hardly believe so much has changed over a span of a few years. I wonder how the quintuplets are doing?

I pulled out a photo that I received from them one day when I was in middle school from my school bag.

I could hardly believe they've changed so much and yet look the same as I remembered them. Even though they change their hair style and hair color, I can still tell them apart.

The one in the middle with the ribbon is Yotsuba, the one on the right corner with the twin tails is Nino, the one on the left corner with short hair is Ichika, the bottom right with two star hairpins is Mitsuki, and last on the bottom left with a pair of headphones is Miku.

Y/n: Well, it makes sense for them wanting to change appearance so no one can confuse who is who as they get older.

As I look back at the photo, I wonder to myself on how they're doing since... the passing of their mother. I remember my mom and dad telling me that the quintuplets mother passed away due to overworking herself. I wish I was there to comfort the quintuplets after they lost their mother.

Y/n: *sigh* I should greet their father when I get the chance. But right now, I better get my school ID and schedule for semester before school ends. Hopefully I'll run into one of them while I'm here.

Putting the picture back inside my school bag, I start making my way inside the school. As I enter through the gate, I came across one of the teachers that monitoring the hallway.

P.E. Teacher: Hey, you! What are you doing outside of homeroom?

Y/n: Oh, hello! I'm the new transfer student, my name is Y/n L/n.

I said as I bow to him to show respect.

P.E. Teacher: Transfer student? Ah, now I remember... you're the student that came back from America, correct.

Y/n: Yes.

P.E. Teacher: Alright... follow me, I'll take you to the principal's office so we can get you set up. But I should warn you, young man... don't be late next time and arrive on time. You're not in America anymore so expect any strict punishment if you step out of line.

Y/n: Yes, sir. *thought* I almost forgot that Japan education is more strict with their Education system.

I follow after the teacher as we make our way toward the principal's office. As we were walking all I can think about is if the quintuplets go to this school. That would be awesome!

Principal's office....

We soon arrived at the principal's office as I then see the principal going through my school files from my time in America.

Principal: It nice to meet you, Mr. L/n! I understand you and your family recently came back from America is that correct?

Y/n: Well, it's just me... my parents stayed back at America for their work. But I promise you that I won't cause any problems for you or the teachers while I'm here.

Principal: That good to hear from you, Mr. L/n! Also I look over your school record from overseas and I see you was top of your classes for every subject. All the way until reaching highschool...

Y/n: Yes, that's correct.

Principal: Mr. L/n, Asahiyama High School accept only the brightest and talents students around. So, it an honor to have you in our school.

Y/n: Thank you for the comment, principal.

Principal: Now, I wonder how you face against our top student?

Y/n: Excuse me, sir?

Principal: His name is Uesugi Futaro, he's been our star student for the past year, now. Always getting %100 on all his exams and quizzes. So, tell me this... are you up for the challenge?

I could only smirk to myself in response.

Y/n: Heh, I always up for a challenge, sir. What life without obstacles?

3rd P.O.V.

Later...

After getting his school ID and schedule, the P.E. Teacher escort Y/n to his homeroom class before the next period starts. Once the principal knows they were gone, he pulls out his phone and calls someone.

Principal: Hello, Mr. Nakano... How are you doing, sir?

Nakano: What is it? Make it quick, I'm a busy man.

Principal: I wanted to let you know that we have another candidate. His name is Y/n L/n, he recently came back from America and he's also a straight A+ student just like Mr. Uesugi.

Nakano: ... I'm listening.

Principal: So, I wanted to let you know I can give you, his contact information if you're interested in hiring him as a tutor for your daughters.

Nakano: Please do so, even though you gave me, Mr. Uesugu info. I'm a bit skeptical about him as a person but Mr. L/n, I know him personally from a longtime ago. So, I'm sure my daughters will get along with him well more than the other.

Principal: Alright, Mr. Nakano... I'll send you his contact information soon as possible.

Nakano: Thank you.

Lunchtime...

Y/n: Finally, lunch break!

He said as Y/n stretches his body after sitting for couple of hours. Getting up from his seat, his make his way toward the cafeteria.

Y/n: Now, what do I feel like eating today?

As he look through the menu list from the cafeteria, he notice the many price tags for each meal.

Y/n: Yikes! I almost forgot that you got buy your own lunch. But man, it's expensive... *thought* Good thing I withdrew some money from my account earlier.

While he's busy deciding what do eat, Y/n over hear someone ordering their meal but what they say next dumbfounded him.

???: One barbecue combo and hold the barbecue.

Lunch lady: Coming up!

Y/n: .... *thought* What the hell!? Who orders a whole barbecue combo but hold the barbecue. It's like saying "I would like to order a double meat Waterburger combo but hold the cheese" because you don't want to pay the extra $0.50 for each slice of cheese.

Then seeing the person get his meal, Y/n can see he only got soup, rice and Veggies along with water.

Y/n: *thought* Is this guy broke or something?!

After the person got his meal, he then walk off leaving Y/n still dumbfounded on what he saw.

Y/n: That guy is weird...

Lunch lady: You ready to order?

Y/n: Oh, yes! I guess I'll get the barbecue combo with the barbecue if you mind.

Lunch lady: One Barbecue combo, coming right up!

While Y/n waited for his meal to be ready, he suddenly spotted a familiar person.

Y/n: Huh?

It was a girl with red hair with two star hairpins, it looked like she was looking around for a table to sit at. But as Y/n got a closer look who it is, he immediately recognized the person.

Y/n: I-Itsuki...

???: Huh? Who's asking-

Itsuki: Y-Y/n...

The two were in a standstill as they were surprised to see one another after 8 long years.
