My name is Isaiah Gardner and I am the real fastest man alive. To the outside world, I'm a normal person. But with the help of my friends, I help The Flash take down Meta-humans as QuikSilver.

In order for you to understand what I'm about to tell you, I need you to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good. I got my superspeed the same day as Barry Allen. Unlike him, I got struck by pure dark matter. Anyways, here is my story.

I walked home, like I do every night. It was time for the Particle Accelerator to be turned on. So I grabbed a beer from my fridge and sat on my couch.

The Accelerator was turned on successfully. My phone dinged. I picked it up and read the text.

Caitlin: It worked!:-)
Isaiah: Of course it did, you were working on it.

I took a drink of my beer before an alarm went off on the news channel.

I saw a red blast come from STAR labs.  I stood up to go to the lab. I made it two steps before my window broke into pieces. A lightning bolt struck me across the chest. I flew backwards before everything went black.

Flashback  (2 Months Earlier)

I walked towards the exit of CC Jitter's when a pretty brunette bumped into me. My coffee spilled. "Gah!" "Oh my God! I am so sorry!" "You're fine." I grabbed some napkins and cleaned the coffee up off the floor. "Here, let me buy you another one." I grabbed her arm softly. "It's ok." I held out my hand. "My name is Isaiah by the way." "Caitlin." She said as she shook my hand. "Do you maybe want to get lunch some time?" "Yeah, why not." She wrote her number on a napkin and handed it to me.

Flashback End

Third Person POV

"He's crashing!" A nurse yells to a doctor. The doctor brings in a defibrillator. He walks over to Isaiah and turns on the machine. "Clear!" He presses the devices to his chest. The power flickers inside the whole hospital.

Harrison Wells, Caitlin Snow, and Cisco Ramon eventually take Isaiah to STAR labs.

Eight Months Later
Isaiah's POV

I shot up in a bed. Not my bed. "Where am I?!" I asked, freaking out. I could hear the familiar sound of heels clacking on the ground coming from outside the Cortex. As soon as I saw Caitlin, I calmed down. "Welcome back Mr. Gardner." Dr. Harrison Wells said coming into sight in a... wheelchair? "What happened?" "You have been in a coma for the past eight-and-a-half-months."
